    Kansas City Royals Notes

    4Five home runs allowed ties a season-high for the Royals... it is the third time it has happened this year and most recently August 26 vs. The Orioles.

    4Jeremy Guthrie (2.1 IP, 9 H, ER, 0 BB, 2 SO, 4 HR) made his rst start since August 18 at Cincinnati... he matched a career-high, surrendering four home runs, marking

    the third time he’s done that in his career, most recently on May 25 of this year at Yankee Stadium.

    4Alex Rios doubled in the ninth inning to extend his season-long hitting streak to 11 games...his streak is his longest since hitting in 12-straight games from May 17-29,

    2014.
