Well, in the United States, just like in Taiwan, there are many choices for you.
You can look through the papers for department store specials, or stop off at an outlet mall, [where famous brand-name
goods are sold at discount prices,
or keep your eyes open for a neighborhood garage sale.]
But still, you may be missing one of the best
deals (that) [America has to offer].

How do you get there?Just leave (all of the high-priced places)
behind and flee to the flea market.
• I left my mobile phone behind in the office.
• a blue-painted room• a clean-shaven face• a pair of high-heeled shoes• a hand-made cake
“But who wants to shop for fleas?” you ask.
Fear not. (=Don’t fear.) Fleas are probably the only
things (which, that) [you won’t find at a flea market.]

Some markets also display produce stands, where weekend farmers sell (juicy fruits and ripe vegetables). They are cheaper and often better-tasting than [what (you’ll get)] at the supermarket.
