Nurse and Radio Operator: Main Duties Provides trauma and medical care to injured and sick personnel on the rig. Operate and maintain the rig sickbay, medical supplies and medical equipment. Ensure that all sickbay and emergency medical equipment are serviceable and
rectify any deficiencies Maintain an inventory on all medications/drugs and makes sure to follow the
protocols on disposing all expired. Conducts safety & health trainings on all rig employees. Coordinates with shore-based Doctors for further consultation of such
complicated cases. Performs inspection on all first aid kits placed around the rig. Ensure the sickbay and related areas are clean, conducts weekly hygiene
inspection Liaise with local and/or international shore-based medical facilities as required. Liaise with OIM/Barge Captain and Safety Officer with respect to injury and
sickness reporting. Advice rig Departmental Supervisors of injuries or sicknesses that involve their
respective departments. Advise OIM/Barge Captain when a medical emergency evacuation (Medevac)
of injured or sick crew member is required. The main role of the Radio Operator is to provide reliable communications
between the vessel and the shore, other vessels and helicopter traffic.
The Radio Operator works under the supervision of the Master, and reports directly to the Master. We establish and maintain the ‘flight watch’ during all helicopter operations, and record all details of landings and departures of aircraft.
The maintenance of all radio equipment and emergency power sources, stock keeping of radio spares, etc.
The Radio Operator assists the Master with general clerical work such as vessel documentation, daily reports, timesheets and minutes of meetings with highly qualified computer skills.
The Radio Operator takes on a support role in emergency situations, in both a communication role, and as part of the vessels emergency command and control team. This involves assisting with POB reconciliation, log keeping, emergency radio communications, etc.

gives appropriate advice where knowledgeable. Maintain proper filling system for daily tasking. Ensures tidiness and cleanliness of workplace and/or shared areas of work with
other staff. Undertake any duties/ projects, etc. as and when requested by customer or
Project Executive/ Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager. Train, maintain and enforce all company service standards using use records
and appropriate reference materials. Address clients concerns and react quickly and professionally. Leadership abilities should be of a good standard with regards to everyday of
work.
Actively participates in client’s problem resolution to ensure that client service opportunities are resolved quickly and addressed effectively.
Ability to work autonomously and self-motivated even without the managers consent.
Organize and also be prepared to take over the duties of any member of the staff as and when required.
Coordinate with all the junior staff and make sure that every client is satisfied with the service offered.
