Similarly derivative commentaries occur in manuscripts associated with Reading Abbey and Llanthony. The 15th-century binding is by a recognized (possibly London) binder. There are some 15th-century glosses in English. The manuscript is named after `John Trevor', a name which appears in a 15th-century hand (the reading `Trevor' not beyond doubt) in the margin of f. 112. . The provenance since the 17th century is Welsh, firstly in North Wales, later in Glamorgan.
