今回は、日本を代表する折紙作家の一人 勝田恭平さんを講師にお迎えする予定です。勝田さんは、動物や昆虫など多数

の作品をはじめ、オリジナリティーあふれる多数の傑作を生み出されている注目の若手作家です。今年はどんなオリガミをご指導

下さるか楽しみです。また、勝田さんの作品をはじめ、神谷哲史さん作の「龍神」など、一枚の折紙で作られた事が信じられない

ような素晴らしい折紙による芸術作品の特別展示も是非お楽しみ下さい。

大人の方も、オリガミの楽しさや魅力を再認識しながら、お子様たちとご一緒にオリガミの新たな魅力を発見しませんか。また、親

子で楽しめる「手巻き寿司コーナー」を設けました。夏休みの最後の日曜日をご家族､ご友人たちとご一緒に気軽なブッフェラン

Summer Family Buffet with a Special Program – August 28 (Sun.), 2011

Special Program - “Let’s Enjoy Origami!” There is a special corner for “Do-It-Yourself Sushi Rolls”.

Come spend a delightful Sunday in August with your family and friends at the Club’s Special Family Buffet. You’ll enjoy a sumptuous selection of some of Executive Chef Uehara’s best dishes, prepared using the freshest available ingredients. And there will be some special dishes for the kids, too, along with the usual and always popular tempting selection of mouthwatering desserts.

Moreover, in response to many requests, we will once again have a demonstration of Origami. You’ll marvel at the wonderful and entertaining objects that can be created from paper using centuries-old techniques. With the kind support of the Japan Origami Academic Conference and the Origami House, we’ve invited renowned Origami artist, Mr. Kyohei Katsuta. So, do make your plans now to join us for this wonderful summer weekend of good fun and fine foods.

Please note that there will also be an exhibition corner for Origami works such as insects, dragons and dolls, created by several different artists. In particular, do not miss the ‘Dragon King’, which is an extremely complicated Origami work created by Mr. Satoshi Kamiya using a 2m square sheet of paper. Please remember, weekends are casual dress days.
