The 2.8 Genial Enterprise Company was established by a group consist of 10 students who are ambitious to create food product business that cater to the demands and needs of students and for everyone. The 2.8 Genial Enterprise is a partnership company which is made by an agreement between 10 people to finance and operate a business. Partnership provides moral support and will allow more creative brainstorming towards the product.

Chicken Egg Mayo and Natared Sprite are the essence of the sophisticated brainstorm and also known as the company’s food product. These two combinations of simple food and beverages give the nutritional values and affordable price. Chicken Egg Mayo is the snack made from eggs, typically with a flavory filling. Chicken is used as the filling besides some additional such as carrots, mayonnaise, onions and egg yolk. A boiled egg wrapped with kentucky flour give it more crispy and crunchy texture look. From the ingredients used, the product is totally has a great source of protein which is sustainable for others.

The uniqueness of the product is the filling’s flavor itself in which it is mixed up with a few ingredients to make it becomes more tasty and different from others. However, for the service offered, the company will do some delivery service in order to let the customers know better about the products sold. The company will sell the coupon a week before the APK started to give the approach about the company’s product.

The target customers are mostly the UMS students, lecturers, staffs and the visitors since the date will be on the week of graduation day. For the target market, the company will focus on how to attract the customers as many as the team members can. This is because; the number of customers determines the amount of revenue of the company. The company will practice the good communication skill with the customers as one of the important thing to take account. Besides, the company will also put in trust of the cooperation and hard work among the team members that will bring the success.

Other than that, the competitive advantages that the company will encounter is the product sold cannot be found at other cafeteria or stalls in U.M.S. There are two other main competitive advantages; firstly, the curiosity of customer will bring the 2.8 Genial Enterprise towards gaining profits since the product and company is still new in the market. Secondly, the creativity on the food products and services are better than the others competitors since innovation on the product has been implemented according to the consumer needs.

The 2.8 Genial Enterprise Company is a partnership company. There are advantages in such form of business by having more expertise and more resources for capital. The business risks can also be distributed and shared among partners.Therefore, each partner will fund up the capital of RM60 and there will be a total capital of RM600. The funds will be used to allocate on the budget of raw materials and others such as advertisement and rental. Being a partnership, the business partners necessarily share the profits and the decision making. Furthermore, The 2.8 Genial Company may benefit from the combination skills of all partners.

The idea of presenting healthy food business came across when everybody seem aware and concern about the healthiness in daily life. In addition, the purpose is to ensure the customers to enjoy this food that is safe to consume, high quality and delectable. Lastly which is the upmost important, the hygienic of product becomes the prominent factor among the market in the worldwide.

The company, 2.8 Genial Enterprise, which is a new venture started its operation since September 2013, consist of 10 young entrepreneurs.This unique name came from one of the members which contain a meaning in each words. 2.8 means that this company consist of 2 male and 8 female.While Genial means marvelous in Spanish words.Located at Library’s Car Park of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS),Kota Kinabalu, the company specialize in serving various types of delicious stuffed which is “Chicken Egg Mayo and Natared Sprite”.

Our product served in slices or in chuncks with delicious topping on these “Chicken Egg Mayo”. The product, “Chicken Egg Mayo” is made from a cheaper ingredients like chicken egg,slice of chicken popcorn and vegetables. Besides, the second product which is “Natared Sprite” is very unique.It is actually the combination of Ribena,carbonate drink Sprite and also ‘nata de coco’ which is very popular among the citizen and also the children because of the ‘nata de coco’ and Ribena it self.

The type of operation for our business is a food service. Since the product is fully based from Malaysia, the needs of introducing the innovative product to all UMS peoples are highly needed since it is the new secret recipe from the company. This can be done through as the company is located within University Malaysia Sabah and our main target of customers is the student of University Malaysia Sabah itself which covers a wide range of different background of people and comes from different part of country and religious.

Moreover, this new product that will be served to customers is rarely and has it own taste and peculiarity.The company made it more attempting by adding many choices of topping as well as its taste. Therefore, the company is very delight to sell these products as to promote and rejoice the taste of food with a modern touch and with that the customers will satisfied and excited to buy this new exclusive product.

The business that we, 2.8 Gen Entrepise carry on is in the form of small food stall. The human resources in administration consist of 10 members which each of the members have their own responsibilities in the pose. The president always has some ideas to organize the business. The secretary is responsible to record all the details on every meeting, besides, she also have to complete the business proposal on time. The treasurer has her responsibilities on dealing with money. The strategies business promoting and is in charge by AJK promotion. The AJK logistic and production have to make sure the food product dealing well on the day of starting business. First of all, the company prepares all the material that is needed in the production of Chicken Egg Mayo and Natared Sprite. The companies also do a survey such as comparing the price of material in the market to ensure the material that uses are at the lowest price. This is due to reduce the budget and increase the profit of the company. Chicken Egg Mayo is special menu because its company secret recipe that ever been seen in the market. Chicken Egg Mayo also very delicious and attractive. In this case, Chicken Egg Mayo is made and put in a transference container. Besides, the stick and a piece of tissues paper also will provide to customer. The tissue papers are given for clean up uses. The container, stick and tissues is all can be recycle and environmental friendly. Since the expo place near the library, so company target market will be the students, staff and postgraduate.

Apart of that, the 2.8 Genial Enterprise also will used the promote strategy. That is mean, there is the promoter from the company who will promote this kind of product for each place. So that, the people will be able to know the product more. Plus, they can buy the product direct from the promoter, it also gives the advantage to both sides who are the seller and the buyer.

Price is the strategy that bring revenue to company. Price will affect the interest of consumer to buy. Consumers would not buy the product if the price of a product is too low or high. For boosting up the daily sales, the 2.8 Genial Enterprise has decided to sell the products in lower cost and it is also to let everyone to try our delicious food. Our idea of making revenue is not via the expensive selling price but it is via the quantities that are going to sell. So that, to compete the other business rival, the company must give the good price that is suitable with the sold product. The price to sell our product is not more than RM4.00. Besides, we are considering promotional set price to attract more customers to buy.

As a second step which is the publicity of our product, the 2.8 Genial Enterprise, as suggested, to use flyers. The flyers containing brief information of product, venue, time, date, and the product image will be pasted in strategic places in UMS for students, lecturers, and staffs to view. The strategic places we choose are as “Kampung AB”, “Kampung CD”, “Kampung E, library bus stop, D’Bayu bus stop, and rest of the bus stop in UMS. These flyers will be designed and printed in A4 size for better reading and cutting cost.

The flyers will be uploaded in the social network such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others for internet users’ to view. This flyer image will be made as the social networks profile picture before the selling days. The product’s price, ingredients information and nutrients in the product will be published in the social network too.

The 2.8 Genial Enterprise also has decide to deliver the product information to friends, coursemates, roommates, staffs and lecturers through verbally and face-to-face. The respective method will be useful for us to convince them to visit the booth on that day or also for making pre-orders.

The 2.8 Genial Enterprise will choose direct channel which has no intermediate to distribute the products. The product is directly sold to customers from us.

The company will be using the batch process in the production the products, the Chicken Egg Mayo. The batch process is chose due to the suitability for manufacturing the product. The company will be producing the product in moderate quantity to fulfill the customers’ demands and orders only since the product does not use any preservative agent and does not last long. The manufacturing processes involve a step by step process. The manufacturing line will be divided into several parts as to make sure the production target achieved and manufacturing process runs smoothly.

This new product is only starting. The production scale is small and still in the early stage of public release. Therefore, no heavy machinery is needed at the starting of production. The company will be producing an egg based product which is “Chicken Egg Mayo”. The raw materials needed to produce “Chicken Egg Mayo” are egg, chicken meat, mayonnaise, flour, carrot, spring onion, cooking oil, and additional flavor. As a side product, the company will also be producing a drink which is “Natared Sprite”. The raw materials needed to produce “Natared Sprite” are Ribena, Sprite, Nata de Coco, and ice.

The products do not used any kind of preservative agent. Therefore, they do not last long. In order to keep the products freshness, the production will be limited to 150 servings of Chicken Egg Mayo and 75 servings of Natared Sprite per day during the expo. During the two days of expo, the raw materials that does not need intensive preserving, like eggs, mayonnaise, flour, cooking oil, additional flavor, Ribena, and Sprite, will be stocked in the store two days before the expo and as for the raw material that need cold preserving, like chicken meat, carrot, spring onion, Nata de Coco, and ice, will only be stored one day before the expo.The quantity of raw materials that is going to be stored will be according to the quantity needed during the two days of expo as to keep the stock cost to minimal.

7.1.5 Human ResourceThe business that we carry on is in the form of small group where the capital is small. The human resources in administration consist of 10 members which each of the members have their own responsibilities in the pose. The director always has some ideas to organize the business. The secretary is responsible to record all the details on every meeting, besides that, she also have to complete the business proposal on time. The financial department has his responsibilities on dealing with money. The strategies of business and promoting are in charge by marketing department. The operation department has to make sure the food product dealing well on the day of starting business. Also, operation department has to travel to the market in order to buy the raw materials and items needed. By the co-operation of all the members, the business can be carry smoothly on time.

The company main supplier for the raw materials is the Giant Hypermarket of One Borneo located in Unit No. G-200, Concourse Floor, 1 Borneo Hypermall, Jalan Sulaman, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. 7.4 Safety Measure

Since the company is producing fresh food products, safety measures and precautions are of the essence of manufacturing process. Below are the guidelines that the company established as safety measures and precautions in the workplace:

1. All employees will wear all required safety gear and safety clothing for their job/position while at their workstation.

2. All employees working around food processing department are prohibited from wearing jewellery.

3. Protective clothing, footwear and gloves, appropriate to the operation in which the employee is engaged, should be worn and maintained in a sanitary manner. Employees in processing areas should wear effective hair restraints, such as hair nets.

4. All tools will be in use or will be stored at their proper location at all times; no tools are to be left in any location where they are not being used or being stored.

5. All work areas are to be kept properly lit when anyone is working.6. All work areas are to be kept properly ventilated.7. All areas of the food process departments are to be kept clean and organized.8. Washrooms, lunchrooms and change rooms are to be separated from

processing areas and maintained in a clean condition.9. Waste is to be removed and containers cleaned and sanitized often enough

that potential for contamination is minimized.10.An adequate supply of portable water is to be available to meet operational

and cleanup needs.11.Finish products are to be stored and handled to prevent contamination and

damage.12.Any behaviour which could result in contamination of food is prohibited in

food processing, distribution, storage and handling areas.

13.Person who is known to be infected with a disease likely to be transmitted through food, or showing symptoms of such disease, is strictly prohibited to work in food-handling areas.

8.0 Financial Plan

2.8 Genial Enterprises decides to collect RM 50 per person among the member. The

money used to buy those fresh ingredients, transportation and other materials and

apparatus that needed during the APK expo. The total capital is RM 500.00.

cost to make CHICKEN EGG MAYO is RM1.50 including the selling price. And it is

estimated will be sold for 100 pieces in two days. If we sold out 300 pieces of

From the above material cost we calculated/obtained, the original or basic

cost to make NATARED SPRITE is RM225.00 with the selling cost of RM1.50 and it is

estimated will be sold for 50 units in two days. If we sold out 150 cups of NATARED

SPRITE in two days, the profit we will obtain is RM 45.50.

From the above material cost we calculate/obtained, the original or basic cost

to make COMBO PLAN is RM 3.50 including the selling price. And it is estimated will

be sold 100 sets in two days. If we sold out 100 sets of COMBO PLAN in two days,

the profit we will obtain is RM 165.00

9.0 Risk Management

9.1 Risk analysis

The company has detected and listed several risks that may affect the business if it is not handled well at the early stage. It includes customer, financial, raw materials, and publicity.

The main aspects in the business are the customers. It’s hard to gain profits if the customers are not many. In order to pick the suitable product to sell, the entire customer's background should be taken in detail. On the expo day, which is the same week as Tamu Gadang week, there must be various people from all type of background, races, religion and ages. So, all of them should buy and taste the company products with no worries.

For the financial, the company might handle financial crisis if the profit is low or there's no profit from the sales. It can occur if there is no effective financial strategy. This can cause a very serious problem to the company if not handled well.

Raw materials are very essential in the company's business because the business is selling foods that need good quality materials. Low quality raw materials will result in low buying cost but it is not good for the customer and surely it is bad for people's health.

There will be many competitors on the day of selling the products. So, publicity is important. Low creativity in publicity of the company's product will result in lack of customers.

9.2 Overcoming the risks

After analyzing the possible risks that the company would risks before or during the product selling, precaution steps that should be taken are listed.

To overcome the first risk, customer, the food ingredients should come from a trusted source to get the market wider, that is 'halal' for Muslims customers. The company is selling chicken egg mayo which it should be no problem and customers can buy it with no worries. The product is good for health and tasty which suits the customers taste.

Secondly, the company already appointed a financial manager which responsible for keeping tracks of the cash flow and calculating the company's profit. All of the budget required and used will be calculated accurately to make target of the company's profit. They also have to make sure that the cash outflow will not exceed beyond the calculated numbers.

For the raw materials, fresh and high quality food materials will be picked. Buying of the raw material will be done in large packets to get lower price than buying it in a small packets. To avoid spoilage of the materials, it will be bought a day before the expo and stored in a suitable storage. The handling of the materials also important to avoid wasting and over used, so, a precise measurement of the materials will be done.

Lastly, publicity will be done in a week before the expo started to make sure that customers are familiar with the company's products. Coupons and posters will be distributed in order to attract customers. Attractive decorations on the products and stalls are also important to gain more attention from the buyers.

10.0 Conclusion

As known, in this era the new company will faced with a world of competition to successful on own work. For the first model of new generation the company must have spirit to thinking out of the box so that our country will be success in the world. Besides the most effective job that can archive good profit is to be a businessman or businesswomen but an organization must be brave to take any risk and wisely manage the risks that are not faced with a severe loss. When the company join this program,the first things to learn is how to be a successful businessman and businesswomen. The most important thing that the company try is to be a creative and innovative person especially for university's students. It also give the best experience for the members of the company that can be use after graduate. The members can apply the skills to participate in the workforce, especially in the field of business and economics. The most valuable experience is that the company learn many soft skills when doing this particular program that is how to lead the group, how to communicate with the customer, how to work as a team so the business can be success and the entire problem can be solved properly. Otherwise, the company can be proved and be a meaningful asset for the country ahead.
