Project #1
SIGN MAKING
Sign represents all the things. It is not just symbolizing of something
but it also shows the personality of the person who makes the sign. As my first
project, we are all assigned to make a sign that actually can represent our-
selves, simply saying, the personality. I had to question myself several things
before I could go on and also thought of what Professor Jerry told us to do. What
Jerry told us was to think of the three best descriptive words that can represent
ourselves. Then I tried to figure out what I love to do in the present and future
or what I can do best. I love to travel around. When It comes traveling, most
people think of making a journey abroad. Well, that is just a stereotyped think-
ing. For me, traveling is not just riding on a airplane heading towards abroad,
but it also means jogging around the town or the park nearby where I live to
make a journey to a lost wonder! And honestly, I had not been to many coun-
tries to travel, but I usually go out to any parks to wake myself up from the feel-
ing of gloominess or powerless that evoked from repeated patterns of days.
From the fact that I love traveling, I came up with three different words that can
describe myself: Curious, Adventurous, and Passionate.

Project #2
JOURNEY TO A LOST WONDER
What is it to be going on a journey to a lost wonder? It was the
question that Jerry asked us for the second project, and it was totally
best things for me to do because as I said, I love traveling. To dis-
cover a new world, I decided to go somewhere I’ve never been to.
This place was totally hidden in the Golden Gate Park and I was
amused that I never knew this beautiful place which called by
McLaren Park. I guess not a lot people knew the place because there
was no one when I got there. I could only heard of birds singing, and
howling from the winds across me. Trees were randomly growing but
organized along the pathway, and same for the flowers too. It led me
and my partner, Nasan, to walk further up to some kind of mountain
road, then I felt little scared but amazed at the same time by the sun
that shined through the wigs of the trees making the place most
mysterious spaces that I ever seen.
Project #3
WALL DESIGN PROJECT
What is it to be a Architecture? It is not just making a
building structure but also to study of different part of the
house. For the third project, we are assigned to focus on the
wall, and narrative that goes along well with the designed wall.
I knew that Architecture never can’t be easy, and this project
reminded me of that again. But it was also the fun project that I
could discover different ideas of wall from the internet while I
was getting an idea or I could get some advice from Jerry in the
class what I will need to more focus on.
