On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have the pleasure to announceAsia Steel 2009 Conference to be held in Busan, Korea. The purpose of theConference is to bring together academia, researchers and engineers toshare achievements, ideas and vision on iron and steel. The conference is toprovide a forum for experts and professionals from Asia and also all aroundthe world to discuss topics that deal with recent advancement in the widespectrum of steel production-related technology. This conference is acontinuation of the First Asia Steel International Conference (2000) in India,the 2nd (2003) in China and the 3rd (2006) in Japan. The 4th Conference thistime in Busan will certainly offer a venue where participants not just enrichtheir professional knowledge base, but also deepen friendship with peersand authorities.
