• Try to get a general physical exam, a

dental exam and an eye exam before

traveling

• Take special medicines with you

(prescription and translation)

• Take your glasses prescription

and/or an extra pair of glasses

• Student health clinic on campus

Final advice!

Don’t wait until the last minute to do all of your errands (citas médicas, translations, shopping, etc).

Make a schedule and do several things every

week Create a Skype account and put a bit of money

on it. Don’t be afraid to ask for advice: utilize your

contacts in your program! DAY BEFORE AND DAY OF DEPARTURE - Get plenty of rest - Arrive at airport early to avoid delays - Carry snacks with you - Get excited!!
