Dear Governor Christoforidis,

Dear Governor Grigoropoulos,

On behalf of the General Secretary John Hewko, I am pleased to confirm that your request to

extend the deadline for payment of the RI per capita dues for all clubs in District 2470 and District

2484 has been approved.

The extension starts and already includes the July 2015 dues and will remain effective until the

capital restrictions in the country have been withdrawn.

Kindly inform all Rotary clubs in your districts about this decision. Please also make sure that the

clubs understand that this decision is not exempting them from paying their dues to Rotary

International. As soon as the capital control enforced by the government has been withdrawn, clubs

will be required to settle their outstanding obligations. It is therefore advisable for clubs to already

start collecting the July semiannual dues in order to effectively process the payment to RI, as soon as

this is possible. Especially in the event that the capital control is still in effect at the beginning of 2016,

clubs will be required to pay two Club Invoices at once. Essentially, depending on how long the

current situation will last, all the accrued semiannual dues will need to be paid in one lump sum.

Should you require any additional information or assistance regarding the Club Invoice, please do

not hesitate to contact Emmanuel Idehen, responsible for your districts in our Finance Team.
