CITY OF CHICAGOLeveraging AWS infrastructure, the City of Chicago was able to launch OpenGrid, Chicago’s highest profile technology release to date. OpenGrid is a real-time, open source situational awareness program intended to improve the quality of life for citizens and improve efficiency of city operations.

In 2016, the City of Chicago launched OpenGrid - its biggest, highest profile technology release on AWS’ infrastructure and it went off without a hitch. It scaled to meet the demands…and it was a wonderful success of how the infrastructure of AWS worked for the City of Chicago.
