1911— Wuchang UprisingIt overthrew the corrupt rule of the Qing government and gave an end to the feudal autocratic monarchy that had last for more than 2000 years. "The 1911 Revolution "is the most important historical event in the old democratic period that, laid the cornerstone for the people's victory of the revolution and the establishment of new China. It is also an integral part for the global Chinese adolescents in learning China.

2011— 100 anniversary of “1911 Revolution”There are different commemorative activities over the world, to arouse the youth’s knowledge of the history and development of China, to enhance national identity and feelings among young people, to promote Chinese culture and youth friendship between Hubei, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Background



To visit the place in which the 1911 revolution broke out and to find out the influence to the development of China

To educate the youth in history, politics, culture and economic development of China and to enhance the National feelings and thinking of the New Generation in understanding the development of China and Taiwan for hundred years through the exchange activities

Promote exchanges of students and young people between Hubei, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, and thus increase youth friendship between the two places

Enhance the knowledge of the youth from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau of recent development of Hubei Province and Wuhan for their future career and business development.

Purpose



•Visit the eighteen scenes of1911 revolution”(辛亥首義十八景考察)

•Drill and Ceremony”『辛亥革命百周年』制服團隊檢閱禮”,

•Musician Night”兩岸四地青少年『辛亥革命百周年』管弦音樂晚會”

•Youth Forum”兩岸四地『辛亥革命百周年』青年論壇”

•Participate the flag raising ceremony in Beijing(參觀天安門升旗禮)

•Visit the Olympic Stadium(奧運場館)

•To interview by and dinner with the leaders of PRC(領導接見考察團核心領導、青少年代表)晚宴等)。

Main Schedule



•Date : 10-16 August 2011 (7 days)

• Qualifications : Students of Universities or Secondary Schools from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, aged between14-25

•Fees : HK$3,500.-(Total Fees HK$7,000.- 50% of fees of Each participant will be sponsored)

•Number of Participants : 800

•Deadline for application : On or before 18 May 2011

湖北省青年聯合會歡迎晚宴

辛亥革命主題活動（一） — 辛亥首義十八景

上午分批前往不同「辛亥革命」遺址/景點考察:

起義門、孫中山銅像、孫中山紀念碑、武昌起義軍湖北軍政府、

辛亥革命首義烈士祠等

午飯於餐館



下午分批前往不同「辛亥革命」遺址/景點考察:

辛亥革命紀念館（紅樓）、黃鶴樓、蛇山炮台等

晚飯於高校宿舍或餐館

晚上檢閱禮綵排、大聯歡晚會參演樂團練習，其他團員自由活

第三天辛亥革命主題活動（二）：

『辛亥革命百周年』制服團隊檢閱禮

(地點：武昌首義廣場) 【待定】

午飯於餐館

兩岸四地『辛亥革命百周年』青年論壇

(地點：武漢大學) 【待定】

省/市領導接見體驗考察團核心領導、青少年代表及晚宴（其他

團員晚飯於高校宿舍或餐館）

大聯歡晚會綵排 — 參演樂團全日綵排，其他團員只參與晚上的

綵排活動【詳情待定】

第四天全日參觀：（午飯於餐館、參演樂團全日綵排）

東湖公園、湖北省博物館、湖北省城市規劃館、湖北省藝術館、

湖北電視台等

第五日上午團員分批從武漢乘飛機前往北京，香港及台灣參演樂

團返香港及台北（如適用）

中午抵達北京、入住高校宿舍/賓館

下午參觀北京奧運場館、拜訪及/或市內觀光【詳情待定】

領導接見體驗考察團核心領導、青少年代表及歡迎晚宴【形

第六日清晨兩岸四地千名青少年觀看升旗

分批參觀天安門廣場、故宮、人民大會堂等

孫中山行宮 — 中山先生逝世地

北京中華民族博物館 — 認識民族歷史

第七日上午自由活動、旅程總結會（全體團員）

分批離開北京返香港/澳門（飛機—北京至深圳、旅遊巴士—深

圳至香港/澳門）

台灣青少年從北京直飛臺北（如有直航航班）
