Konklusjoner xPS Utvikling av bedriftsspesifikke produksjonssystemer er svært

poulært og fortsatt en klar trend Fra bilindustrien til sykehus, SME osv

Utvikling mot et globalt produksjonsnettverk perspektiv / verdikjeder

”Nytt” – fordi det er bedriftsspesifikt og sentralisert

Hva skjer fremover? Vil trenden fortsette? Optimalt for alle?

Hvordan vil de ”vanskelige” emnene integreres i systemene (ERP, automation technology etc) (path-dependancy fra Toyota?)

Vil XPS lide samme skjebne som BPR, 6-sigma, eller er det noe nytt som gjør det enda mer varig?

Vil vi se utviklingen av ekte verdikjede produksjonssystemer (Supply Chain PS)?

Å ha et system gir ikke automatisk konkurransefordel, men det kan være en ”order qualifyer” Det er ikke systemet i seg selv som kreves, men prosessen rundt det
