When we started

• We started in 2006• Two “new” courses

– Higher Diploma in Architectural Design and Technology建築設計及科技高級文憑

– Higher Diploma in Building Technology and Interior Design建築科技及室內設計高級文憑

BIM model of our 1st BIM Studio in IVE(Tuen Mun). Drafted in 2006

BIM Module introduced in 2010

• 1st BIM module formally introduced to Higher Diploma in Building Technology with Interior Design [51311S]( 建築科技及室內設計高級文憑 ) for S.7 leavers in 2010.

• Start matching to Qualifications Framework (QF)

Catching up with industry development

• As BIM becomes more popular in 2009, there is an increasing demand for BIM practitioners from the construction industry.

• The demand becomes more acute when the Hong Kong Housing Authority announced in May 2010 their goal for full implementation of BIM in all its projects by the financial year 2014/15.
