DRIVE UNITLa Drive Unit PW marchiata Yamaha è un motore con sensore di coppia da 250 W, alimentato a 36 V, di impostazione spiccatamente sportiva. Il sistema a 3 sensori informa la centralina elettronica su sforzo del ciclista, cadenza e velocità della bicicletta per garantire un’erogazione potente e dinamica, ma allo stesso tempo fluida e progressiva.La coppia di 70 Nm (80 Nm di picco) e la funzionaltà Zero-Cadence Support, con i quali il motore offre la massima potenza a partire dalle primissime pedalate, permettono di superare qualsiasi difficoltà.

I livelli di assistenza alla pedalata sono 5: High, Standard, Eco, Eco+, Off. Il supporto del motore parte dal 40% (Eco+) per arrivare fino al 280% (High) per trovare il miglior equilibrio tra potenza ed autonomia per le esigenze di ogni ciclista su tutti i tipi di percorso.In modalità Off, tutte le funzionalità del display sono attive per la misurazione dei valori di crociera (velocità, distanza, etc).

The Yamaha Drive Unit PW is an engine equipped with a 250 W torque sensor, powered by 36 V, projected for a sport professional use. A 3 Sensors System interacts with the control unit, sending to it all info regarding cyclist and bike (effort, speed and ride cadence) to guarantee a strong and dynamic distribution of power and at the same time flowing and stable.Thanks to a 70 Nm torque (a “peak” of 80 Nm) and theZero-Cadence Support function, since first pedal the engine will offer a full power, you will be able to overtake every hurdle.

Yamaha offers 5 assistance levels for your effort/pedal: High, Standard, Eco, Eco+ and Off. The engine support starts with a 40% (Eco+) and ended with a 280% (High) with this wide range of choices every rider will be satisfy finding the best compromise between power and range considering the track.

L’unité de pilotage PW de Yamaha est un moteur équipé d’un détecteur de couple de 250W et d’une puissance de 36V pour une utilisation sportive de niveau professionnel. DISPLAYGrande, sempre leggibile grazie alla retroilluminazione e con tutte le informazioni più importanti ben visibili, il display è stato progettato per i rider più esigenti, sia per percorsi su strada che nei fuori strada più impegnativi.A garanzia di una maggiore sicurezza, il layout del display è pensato per minimizzare il tempo necessario per l’osservazione, durante il quale il ciclista toglie gli occhi dalla strada ed è più soggetto ad errori o disattenzioni.

Lightness and last duration characterize this Ion-lithium battery: 400 Wh and 2,9 kg.This new Yamaha battery is fitted on diagonal tube of the frame and is easier to remove with a simple gesture without effort. This new ergonomic position has helped to create smaller frame. The ion-lithium batteries don’t suffer the “memory effect” and have smaller “auto-discharge effect”. Riders can recharge batteries everywhere and every time without any problem.

CARBON FIBERS USED IN SETTEGUADI

La tipologia di carbonio utilizzato per le Setteguadi è Toray, ovvero il massimo della qualità presente sul mercato mondiale.Diversi strati di vari moduli di fibra di carbonio vengono utilizzati in specifiche aree di ogni telaio al fine di ottenere la rigidità, il peso e la durata desiderate.

The carbon is fiber from Toray a Japanese company that makes the absolute best raw carbon material in the world. We use multiple layers of varying modulus carbon fiber in specific areas of each frame size in order to achieve the desired stiffness, weight and durability.

Le carbone est une fibre de Toray, une société japonaise qui fait le meilleur matériau absolue dans le monde. Nous utilisons plusieurs couches de différents module de fibre de carbone en chaque cadre pour obtenir la rigidité, le poids et la durabilité souhaitées.

MONOCOQUE TECHNOLOGY

Le tele di fibra vengono posizionate in uno stampo personalizzato. Non ci sono i tubi in quanto tali, è il carbonio che prende la forma del telaio. Il metodo di costruzione monoscocca è il metodo migliore per lavorare i materiali compositi. Poiché la fibra di carbonio può essere riposta

appunto come desiderata, qualsiasi parametro di forma e prestazioni può essere ottenuto tramite combinazione di layup e la forma dello stampo. Non ci sono fattori(giunture per l’accoppiamento dei tubi) che influenzano la forma e le prestazioni finali, in questo modo anche i migliori telai in carbonio costruiti con congiunzioni o con incollaggio sono inferiori ad un telaio monoscocca.

The entire frame is laid up in a custom shaped mold. There are no tubes as such, just hollow carbon shapes that handle all the loads. The Monocoque construction method is the best method for working with man-made composite materials. As the carbon fiber can be laid up precisely as desired, any shape and performance parameter can be obtained through combination of layup and shape of the mold. There are no extrinsic (ie. tube end mating needs) factors that influence the final shape and performance, thus even the most carefully designed lugged or bonded tube frames are inferior in this regard.

Le cadre est placé dans un moule spécifique. Il n’y a pas de tube en tant que tels, c’est le carbone qui prent la forme du moule. La méthode de construction monocoque est la plus appropriée pour travailler les matériaux composites. La fibre de carbone est positionnée précisément où c’est nécessaire. Les paramètres de forme et de performance sont ainsi obtenus en associant les drapages de fibres avec la forme du moule.

Les SETTEGUADI sont parfaits pour une utilisation par cross-country de competition.Serà present aux championnats nationaux et à la Coupe du Monde pour toute la saison 2016. Léger et très agile, ils sont la solution parfaite pour les courses caractérisés par des collines abruptes et les virages serrés.

29ER Les roues de 29” de diamètre reducent l’accélération, mais offrent une meilleure dynamique, une grande surface de contact au sol et permettent une meilleure surmonte des obstacles.

650B Ils sont le parfait compromis entre l’agilité d’un 26 “ et le confort d’un 29”. Les roues de 27,5” offrent un meilleur contact avec le sol et permettent de lisset les aspérités. Le centre de gravité plus bas que les 27,5” permet une manipulation plus facile que le 29” et une plus grande stabilité.

THE FRAMEPERFORMANCE AND FEATURE

Il monoscocca rende il telaio più resistente, permettendo l’eliminazione dei punti di giuntura, a favore di una linea pulita. Il telaio SETTEGUADI è caratterizzato da un tubo sterzo conico con forcella da 100-120mm di escursione e perno passante posteriore di 12x142mm. Il carro è equipaggiato con freni a disco e attacco post mount.

It is monocoque to lend strength to the frame by eliminating any kind of joints. It features a tapered head tube for a 100-120mm range fork, and a rear axle of 12x142mm. The rear triangle is configured for disc brake with post mount adapter.

La métologie monocoque rend le cadre plus résistant, et eliminant les articulations, favorise une ligne plus elegant. Les SETTEGUADI se caractérise par un tube conique avec un furche de 100-120mm de excursion et d’une axe traversant dérrière du 12x142mm. Le triangle arrière est configuré pour les freins à disque avec post mount.

MTB front suspended, perfette per un uso da cross- country competitivo. Saranno presenti ai Campionati Nazionali e in Coppa del Mondo per tutta la stagione 2016.Leggere e molto agili, sono la perfetta soluzione per le competizioni caratterizzate da ripide salite e curve strette.

29ER Le ruote da 29” di diametro rallentano l’accelerazione, ma offrono un migliore slancio, una maggiore area di contatto sul terreno ed un migliore superamento degli ostacoli.

650B Sono il perfetto compromesso tra l’agilità di una 26” ed il comfort di un 29”. Le ruote da 27,5” offrono un miglior contatto con il terreno e levigano le asperità.Il centro di gravità più basso delle 27.5” permette una più facile maneggevolezza rispetto alle 29” favorendo una maggior stabilità.

29ER The wheels of 29” diameter slow a little bit the acceleration, but they offer better momentum once rolling, a larger contact area on the trail and a higher “attack angle”, which means that the wheels roll over trail obstacles easier.

650B It is the perfect compromise between the agility of a 26” platform and the comfort of a 29”. The 27.5” wheels offer a better contact with the terrain and smooths out the bumps. A lower centre of gravity gives the 27,5” an easier handling than the 29” with greater stability.

Questa lega è principalmente composta da Alluminio, Magnesio, Silicio, con presenza di Rame, Cromo per migliorare i rischi di corrosione. La lega 6000 è molto formabile; riusciamo infatti ad ottenere dei profili dei tubi molto particolari grazie ad un processo di idroformatura. Dopo il processo di saldatura, per ripristinare le caratteristiche meccaniche originarie della lega, viene fatto un trattamento termico di normalizzazione; si tratta di un processo di riscaldamento e di raffreddamento a temperature e tempistiche controllate.

The aluminum alloy used in our range is the Team series 6000. This alloy is mainly composed of aluminum, magnesium, silicon, a little bit of copper and chromium to improve eventual risks of corrosion. The alloy 6000 is very formable; in fact we can obtain the profiles of the tubes very particular thanks to a hydroforming process. After the welding process there is a normalizing heat treatment in order to restore the original mechanical characteristics of the alloy; it is a process of heating and cooling at controlled temperature and timing.

L’alliage d’aluminium utilisé dans le Team est la série 6000. Cet alliage est principalement composé d’ aluminium, de magnésium, de silicium, avec la présence de cuivre et de chrome pour améliorer les risques de corrosion. TEAM FRAMEPer aumentare la rigidezza e diminuire il peso del telaio siamo intervenuti sullo spessore e sul diametro delle tubazioni. Difatti raddoppiando la sezione del tubo in alluminio, la rigidità aumenta del suo cubo.In pratica, aumentando la sezione dei tubi e diversificando gli spessori è stato possibile costruire telai con una rigidità molto alta e con un peso diminuito del 30% rispetto ad un telaio tradizionale.

To increase the stiffness and reduce the weight of the frame we worked on the thickness and diameter of the pipes. In details, by increasing the pipe section and diversifying its thickness it has been possible to build frames with a very high rigidity and a weight decreased by the 30% compared to a traditional frame.

Pour augmenter la rigidité et réduire le poids du cadre nous sommes intervenus sur l’épaisseur et le diamètre des tuyaux. L’augmentation de la section de tuyau et la diversification de l’épaisseur permit la constrution des cadres avec une très grande rigidité et un poids diminué de 30 % par rapport à un cadre traditionnel.

Le nostre biciclette da corsa sono state progettate cercando di ottenere due caratteristiche importanti: il peso contenuto e l’aerodinamica, grazie alle quali è possibile raggiungere e mantenere velocità molto elevate.

Abbiamo cercato di trovare per ogni modello il migliore compromesso tra i componenti, le ruote e i telai, essendo biciclette concepite sia per corridori amatoriali, che per agonisti. I modelli EDGE richiedono infatti un buon allenamento di base per poter affrontare salite di una certa difficoltà, mentre il modello D’AMBIEZ in alluminio che si identifica per un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Nella nostra linea ROAD esiste anche un modello più adatto al cicloturismo, il modello WAVE. Con qualche piccola modifica nell’assetto di guida senza tralasciare l’innegabile fascino della bici da corsa, potete percorrere molti chilometri con il massimo comfort.

Il telaio è l’ossatura della bici ed ognuna delle nostre biciclette è stata costruita cercando di interpretare le diverse esigenze e prestazioni dei ciclisti; per questo motivo la scelta dei materiali per ogni modello di telaio è stata fondamentale per abbinare sempre più aerodinamica, robustezza e leggerezza senza trascurare l’incidenza sul costo finale del mezzo.

Il carbonio utilizzato per la linea EDGE nasce da dei fili di fibra tirati e allineati in maniera uniforme che, uniti tra di loro con delle resine specifiche andranno a creare il materiale composito denominato pre-preg, il quale verrà tagliato e stratificato secondo la forma e il peso che vogliamo dare al nostro telaio.

I nostri telai in carbonio sono costruiti cercando di ottenere il peso minore con la maggiore resistenza e per fare questo i progettisti si affidano ad un software che li aiuta a determinare dove devono utilizzare i diversi gradi di carbonio e il modo migliore per orientare il materiale composito.

La lega di alluminio utilizzata per la costruzione dei telai D’AMBIEZ e WAVE è la lega migliore che possa essere impiegata per la costruzione di telai, con l’obiettivo principale di ottenere la massima resistenza allo sforzo e alle torsioni.

Quindi con una giusta scelta della materia prima abbinata ad una accurata e attenta verifica del processo di produzione, abbiamo ottenuto il risultato che ci eravamo prefissati, offrendo dei telai molti affidabili e facili da guidare.

Our racing bikes have been designed trying to obtain two important features: a reduced weight and the aerodynamics, that guarantee a very high speed.

For each model we tried to find the best compromise between components, wheels and frames as our ROAD bicycles are chosen both from professionals and for amateurs.

The EDGE models in carbon, need a good basic training in order to face some difficult climbs, while the model AMBIEZ is in aluminum and it is identified for a good quality/ price ratio.In our ROAD range there is also a model more suited for cycling: the WAVE model. With some small changes in the structure of driving without neglecting the undeniable charm of race bikes, you can travel many kilometers with the maximum comfort.

The frame is the “backbone” of the bike and each of our bikes was built trying to satisfy the different needs and performance of the cyclists; for this reason the choice of the materials for each frame was the key to combine more and more aerodynamic, strength and lightness without neglecting the impact on the final costs.

The carbon used for the EDGE models arises from the fiber strands pulled and aligned uniformly that, joined together with the specific resins they’re going to create the composite material called pre -preg, which will be cut and layered according to the form and the weight that we can give to our frame.

Our carbon frames are made trying to get the lighter weight with the higher strength and to do this the designers rely on software that helps them determine where they have to use different grades of carbon and the best way to orient the composite material

The aluminum alloy used for the construction of the frames d’ AMBIEZ and WAVE is the best alloy worldwide, with the main objective of obtaining the maximum resistance to stress and twists.

So with the right choice of raw materials combined with a thorough and careful analysis of the production process, we got the result prefixed, offering reliable and handling frames.

Nos vélos de course ont été conçus pour obtenir deux caractéristiques importantes : poids reduit et l’aérodynamique, grâce à lesquelles il est possible maintenir des vitesses très élevées.

Nous avons essayé de trouver le meilleur compromis pour chaque modèle entre les composants, les roues et les cadres, parce- que nos vélos de route sont choisis des professionnels et des amateurs.

Les modèles EDGE sont en carbone et ont besoin d’une bonne formation de base pour être utilisé des cyclistes en les montées difficiles;le modèle AMBIEZ est en aluminium et il est identifié pour un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Dans notre ROAD ligne il ya aussi un modèle plus adapté au cycloturisme, le modèle WAVE. Avec des petits changements dans la structure de la conduite sans négliger le charme indéniable de vélo de course, vous pouvez parcourir de nombreux kilomètres avec le maximum de confort.

Le cadre est l’épine dorsale de le vélo et chacun de nos vélos a été construit en essayant de satisfaire

les divers besoins et les performances des cyclistes; pour cette raison, le choix des matériaux pour chaque modèle de cadre a été la clé de combiner de plus en plus aérodynamique, résistance et légèreté sans oublier l’impact sur le coût final.

Le carbone utilisé pour les modèles EDGE découle des brins de fibres tirées et alignées uniformément que, réunis avec les résines spécifiques qu’ils vont créer le matériau composite appelé preg pré, sera coupé en couches selon la forme et la poids que nous voulons donner à notre cadre.
