Any commercial model engine or module of similar series as identified in table may be built from any other existing model engine or module by assembling and testing desired engine/module in accordance with the appropriate parts list and overhaul manual and reidentifying in accordance with this CEB.

Technical aspects are FAA approved.

Compliance Code 7. To be complied with per customer option.

F. Interchangeability:

Convert engine model for particular aircraft type. Consult the aircraft type certificate data sheets for approved engines.

G. Material Availability:

Refer to the appropriate engine Illustrated Parts Catalog to determine the required parts needed for conversion.

H. Tooling:

None.

I. Weight and Balance:

Engine weight difference will be dependent on particular Model converted; consult appropriate FAA Engine Type Certificate.

2. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

A. Determine model to be built. Use only assembly parts and detail parts authorized by the appropriate model Illustrated Parts Catalog for the specific model engine or module that is being built .

B.

(1) Assemble the parts in accordance with assembly instructions for the model engine being assembled.

(2) Follow assembly details contained in the Overhaul Manual for the model being built.

(3) Install a new engine assembly name plate.

(a) Transfer the exact engine serial number from the engine being converted.

(b) Identify engine assembly to reflect the engine assembly listed in the Illustrated Parts Catalog that reflects the configuration built.

(c) Stamp the correct model information in the "MODEL" block.

(4) Test the engine or module in accordance with the test requirements for the model assembled.

(5) All removed (old) data plates and superseded data plates must be returned to Rolls- Royce Corporation at the address in paragraph (6):
