• Beydağ Dam is constructedto provide irrigation waterto 17 829 ha of land along Küçük Menderes River in Ödemiş Valley. After taken into operation, insufficient amount of water was flowing towards the reservoir from dam’s basin. Therefore, this project has been tendered by DSI to prepare preliminary and final design projects for 9 weirs and pipeline system that will divert water from other basins to supply irrigation water to Beydağ Dam.
• All the necessary hydrological,water resources management,hydraulic and structural designstudies were completed for allthe weir structures and pipelinesystem in the scope of the study.

• Purpose of the study is to prepare master plan report for one of the 25 watersheds in Turkey. The North Agean Basin area is approximately 10.000 km2.
• The basin covers highly populated cities such as İzmir, Manisa, Balıkesir, and Çanakkale.
• Within the scope of Kuzey Ege Basin water availability study, the natural and existing condition flows of gaging stations located on the main streams and facilities which are planned, under construction and under operation, have been analyzed.
• Optimal irrigation systems and methods for water saving in irrigation projects were determined to maximize the agricultural benefit obtained from water.
• Calculations and examinations of future water potential status for the years 2025 and 2050, have been carried out and results are presented in the scope of this report. Existing and future drinking and industrial water demand was calculated and all of the drinking water facilities as well as treatment plants were investigated. Population projections were carried out to determine future potable water demand. Possible Water supply amounts available were calculated to determine possible future projects.
• Groundwater balances of Kuzey Ege Basin aquifers prepared by DSİ, have been given in the interim report. In the scope of conclusive studies of master plan, after the completion of
field surveys and desk studies, the groundwater balances of sub basins were determined.
• In order to organize Source-Supply balance and basin water budget in the Kuzey Ege Basin, current and proposed facilities have been evaluated and total consumption has been calculated.
• Existing and proposed facilities within the Kuzey Ege Basin have been reviewed by taking the current meteorological and hydrological data into account.
• Analysis results of the gauging stations at which surface and groundwater quality are observed currently in the Kuzey Ege Basin, taking the “Surface Water Quality Management Regulations” into account, have been evaluated.
• In order to ensure long term sustainability of the existing and proposed projects, evaluating the analysis results according to the “Water Quality Management Regulations” and the other legislations, point and nonpoint sources of water pollution in the basin have been determined and calculated. Protected areas such as national park, special environmental protection area, natural park and wildlife protection area available in the Kuzey Ege Basin have been determined.
• Flood damages in the basin were analyzed and flood control facilities were invesitgated and new ones were proposed within the report.

• Preparation of Watershed Master Plan Report for the fourth largest basin (60,000 km2) in Turkey.
• Sakarya Basin Master Plan Report” has been prepared as a result of study consisting of; determining current and future water potential and usage from water sources (surface, underground and spring), determining drinking and industrial water requirements and water rights, estimating population and water need projections and users’ drinking water supply requirements, land resource of the basin, existing land usage, irrigation potential and requirement and putting forth the alternatives for irrigation methods and sources, the problems of sites having insufficient drainage and solution suggestions, investigation of existing structures such as dams, weirs, tunnels, wells, pumps, water supply networks, water treatment plants, irrigation, drainage and flood facilities, flood damages have been completed and new structures and systems
which have been found to be technically, economically and environmentally feasible have been proposed. Special attention was given to sectoral needs and resource allocation that would be made in a way to meet the requirements.

Design studies of Inönü Dam and Köylüce Weir in Havran District, Karakoç Dam in Ayvalık District, Manastır Dam, Kızılkeçili Dam, Mıhlı Dam, Zeytinli Dam, Narlı Dam and Eybek Dam which have purpose of irrigation and drinking water supply in Edremit District were completed within the scope of the project. Feasibility and Preliminary Design reports were prepared for each of the dams and submitted to the client.
• Preliminary design of a total of 200 km long water supply pipeline network as well as pump stations, storage plant, and several potable water treatment plants were completed and proposed within the scope of the project.
• Hydraulic design calculations of water supply system were completed, the locations, hydraulic design calculations and capacities of pump stations, storage and potable water treatment plants were provided. Cost benefit estimations of the necessary components were presented.

• Başlamış Dam is located in Upper Gediz Basin and it was planned for the purpose of drinking water supply for İzmir/TURKEY. 35.65 hm3 water will be supplied to İzmir by this project.
• In addition to Başlamış Dam, Germe and Sinandede Weirs were also designed within the scope of the project.
• A 46 km long pipe line was designed within the project to supply drinking water to the City of İzmir.
• Gördes Dam is located in Gediz Basin and was constructed for the purpose of irrigation and potable water supply. Supply of 59 x 106 m3 water intended for human consumption.
• Integration of water leakage to the drinking water supply pipe line was achieved.
• Feasibility and Design studies for intake structure, pipe line system, pump station and storage plant were completed.

Within the scope of Ankara Province Flood Inundation and Hazard Maps Engineering Services, calculations of flood water depths, water elevations and flow velocities were computed inside the stream and on the floodplain using 1- and 2- dimensional hydraulic modelling along 130 km long stream route in 13 risk areas within Ankara province and district centre.
Within the scope of mapping and surveying studies,
the maps with scales of
1/2000 and
1/5000 were taken at the project site.
Inundation maps and hazard maps were generated for each study area. 2D and 3D animations which show the movement of the flood wave were prepared in the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) using the model results.
Dam break study was performed and downstream inundition areas were determined in the scope of the study.
The necessary precautions that have to be taken in flooded risk areas and project suggestions and the necessary computation network for the transition to the phase of establishing early flood
warning system was prepared and presented.

Dam and HEPP, which is to be implemented within the scope of Muş Alpaslan II Project are Energy Production, Irrigation and Flood Control and Mitigation. It is proposed to produce an average of 852.96 GWh energy per year, 575.630 GWh of firm energy with an installed capacity of 200 MW in Alpaslan II HEPP, also provided that the control for the possible flooding of Murat River will be complied with, and irrigate a total of 75,000 ha agricultural area within Muş Plain.
