5. Electrical connectionThe electrical connection should be carried out by an authorised electrician in accordance with local regulations.
Single-phase motors incorporate a thermal switch and require no additional motor protection.
Three-phase motors must be connected to an external mains switch and a motor-protective circuit breaker.
6. Start-up
6.1 Shaft seal run-in
The seal faces are lubricated by the pumped liquid, meaning that there may be a certain amount of leakage from the shaft seal.
When the pump is started up for the first time, or when a new shaft seal is installed, a certain run-in period is required before the leakage is reduced to an acceptable level. The time required for this depends on the operating conditions, i.e. every time the operating conditions change, a new run-in period will be started.
Under normal conditions, the leaking liquid will evaporate. As a result, no leakage will be detected.
7. Adjustment
If the pressure settings are not suitable for the application, adjust according to the following.
7.1 Calculating the cut-in and cut-out pressures
The cut-in pressure is the sum of these variables:
• required minimum pressure at the highest tapping point
• head from the pump to the highest tapping point
• pressure loss in pipes.
Recommended cut-out pressure:cut-in pressure + 0.8 - 1.5 bar.
7.2 Adjusting the precharge pressure
When the pump cut-in pressure has been determined, the required precharge pressure of the diaphragm tank can be calculated. The precharge pressure must be adjusted to 90 % of the cut-in pressure.
See the installation and operating instructions for the diaphragm tank.
Warning
Check that the supply voltage and frequency match the voltage and frequency on the nameplate.
Warning
Before making any connections in the unit, make sure that the power supply has been switched off and that it cannot be accidentally switched on.
The unit must be connected to an external mains switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm in all poles.
As a precaution, the unit must be connected to a socket with earth connection.
We recommend to fit the permanent installation with an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) with a tripping current < 30 mA.
Caution Do not start the pump until it has been filled with liquid.
Note The default setting can be found in the quick guide.
Note The cut-out pressure must not exceed the maximum discharge pressure of the pump.
Caution
When adjusting/reading the precharge pressure, make sure that there is no water pressure on the diaphragm tank from the pipework.
NoteIf the pressure switch setting is changed, the precharge pressure must be adjusted too.

7.3 Setting the pressure switch
The cut-out pressure must be lower than the maximum operating pressure of the pump and tank.
Remove the cover from the pressure switch to access the adjusting screws. See fig. 1.

1. Turn screw (pos. A) clockwise to increase the cut-out pressure. Turn it counter-clockwise to reduce the cut-out pressure. The differential pressure range remains unchanged.
2. Start the pump and check by reading the pressure gauge whether the desired cut-out and cut-in pressures have been obtained.
Setting the cut-in pressure
1. Turn screw (pos. B) clockwise to reduce the cut-in pressure. Turn it counter-clockwise to increase the cut-in pressure. The differential pressure range is widened and narrowed respectively.
2. Start the pump and check by reading the pressure gauge whether the desired cut-out and cut-in pressures have been obtained.
Repeat the procedure until the right cut-in and cut-out pressures have been obtained.

11. Fault finding

12. DisposalThis product or parts of it must be disposed of in an environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest Grundfos company or service workshop.
Subject to alterations.
Warning
Before starting fault finding, switch off the power supply.
Make sure that the power supply cannot be accidentally switched on.
Fault Cause Remedy
1. The pump does not start.
a) The fuses in the electric installation have burnt.
Replace the fuses. If the new fuses also burn, check the electric installation.
b) The earth leakage circuit breaker or the voltage-operated circuit breaker has tripped.
Cut in the circuit breaker and check the electric installation.
2. There is power on the pressure switch but not the pump.
a) The power supply to the pump is disconnected after the pressure switch unit.
Check the cable connections.
b) The pressure switch unit is defective.
Repair or replace the pressure switch unit.*
3. The pump does not start when water is consumed.
a) Too big difference in height between the pressure switch unit and the tapping point.
Adjust the cut-in pressure.
b) The pressure switch unit is defective.
Repair or replace the pressure switch unit.*
4. Frequent starts/stops.
a) Leakage in the pipework. Check and repair the pipework.
b) The pressure tank has no precharge pressure, or the tank size is insufficient.
Check the tank precharge pressure, and recharge the tank, if necessary. See section 7.2 Adjusting the precharge pressure.
5. The pump does not stop.
a) The pressure switch unit is defective.
Repair or replace the pressure switch unit.*
6. The motor cuts out during operation.
a) Single-phase motors:The thermal switch in the motor has tripped due to overheating.
The thermal switch will cut in automatically when the motor has cooled sufficiently.If the problem still persists, check these two possible causes:• Impeller stuck.
Clean the pump.• Motor defective.
Repair or replace the motor.*
b) Three-phase motors:Motor-protective circuit breaker has tripped.

5. 电气连接电气连接必须由授权电工按照当地规章来完成。
单相电机配有一个热敏开关，因此不需要额外的电机保护。
三相电机必须与外部电源开关和电机保护断路器连接。
6. 启动
6.1 轴封磨合
泵送液体对轴封的密封面进行润滑，也就意味着密封处会有一定量的渗漏。
首次启动水泵，或者安装新的轴封时，需经过一定的磨合周期后，渗漏才会降至合理水平。 所需时间取决于运行状况，即每当运行状况改变时，就需要开始新的磨合期。
在正常条件下，渗漏液体会蒸发。 因此，不会检查到渗漏。
7. 调节
如果压力设置不适合该应用，可按照以下步骤进行调节。
7.1 计算接入和断开压力
接入压力是这些变量的总和：
• 最高水龙头位置点要求的最小压力
• 泵到最高水龙头位置点的高度差
• 管路中损耗的压力。
推荐断开压力：接入压力+ 0.8 - 1.5巴。
7.2 调节预充压力
当水泵接入压力确定后，就可以计算出隔膜水箱的预充压力。 必须将预充压力调节至接入压力的90 %。
参见隔膜水箱的安装和操作说明。

检查电源电压和频率是否与铭牌上列出的电压和频率数值一致。

7.3 设置压力开关
断开压力必须低于水泵和水箱的最大运行压力。
拆开压力开关的上盖以便对调节旋钮进行操作。 见图1。

1. 顺时针旋转旋钮（位置号A）可增大断开压力。 逆时针旋转可减小断开压力。 压力差的范围将保持不变。
2. 启动水泵，读取压力表的数值以确认是否已达到所需的断开和接入压力。
设置接入压力
1. 顺时针旋转旋钮（位置号B）可减小接入压力。 逆时针旋转可增大接入压力。 压力差的范围也将分别增大和减小。
2. 启动水泵，读取压力表的数值以确认是否已达到所需的断开和接入压力。
重复本流程直至达到所需的接入和断开压力。

11. 故障查找

5. Sambungan listrikPenyambungan listrik harus dilakukan oleh teknisi listrik sesuai dengan regulasi setempat.
Motor satu fasa dilengkapi sakelar termal sehingga tidak diperlukan pelindung motor tambahan.
Motor tiga fasa harus disambungkan ke sakelar listrik eksternal dan pemutus sirkuit pelindung-motor.
6. Memulai
6.1 Sil tangkai putar motor (Shaft seal run-in)
Permukaan sil yang basah oleh cairan yang dipompa mengindikasikan terjadinya kebocoran pada sil tangkai putar motor.
Pada saat pompa pertama kali dihidupkan, atau saat dipasang sil tangkai putar motor baru, dibutuhkan jangka waktu tertentu operasi penyesuaian awal, hingga kebocoran/rembesan pada sil tangkai putar motor berkurang ke tingkat yang wajar. Waktu yang diperlukan untuk penyesuaian tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kondisi pengoperasian, misalnya; setiap kali kondisi pengoperasiannya berubah, durasi waktu untuk operasi penyesuaian awal yang baru akan dimulai lagi.
Dalam kondisi normal, cairan yang merembes akan menguap. Akibatnya, kebocoran tidak akan terdeteksi.
7. Penyesuaian
Jika pengaturan tekanan tidak cocok untuk untuk aplikasi tersebut, lakukan penyesuaian berdasarkan petunjuk berikut.
7.1 Menghitung tekanan cut-in dan tekanan cut-out
Tekanan cut-in adalah jumlah dari variabel-variabel ini:
• tekanan minimum yang diperlukan pada titik keran tertinggi
• mengarah dari pompa ke titik keran tertinggi.
• tekanan hilang dalam pipa.
Tekanan cut-out yang dianjurkan:Tekanan cut-in + 0,8 - 1,5 bar.
7.2 Menyesuaikan tekanan awal
Setelah tekanan cut-in pompa dipastikan, tekanan awal pada tangki diafragma dapat dihitung. Tekanan awal harus disesuaikan hingga 90 % dari tekanan cut-in.
Lihat petunjuk pemasangan dan operasi untuk tangki diafragma.

Pastikan tegangan listrik dan frekuensinya sama dengan tegangan dan frekuensi pada pelat label.

7.3 Mengatur sakelar otomatis
Tekanan cut-out harus lebih kecil dari tekanan operasi maksimum pompa dan tangki.
Lepaskan penutup dari sakelar otomatis untuk mencapai sekrup pengatur. Lihat gbr. 1.

1. Putar sekrup (pos. A) ke kanan untuk mengurangi tekanan cut-out. Putar ke kiri untuk mengurangi tekanan cut-out. Rentang tekanan diferensial tetap tidak berubah.
2. Hidupkan pompa lalu periksa pengukur tekanan apakah tekanan cut-out dan cut-in yang diinginkan sudah didapatkan.
Mengatur tekanan cut-in
1. Putar sekrup (pos. B) ke kanan untuk mengurangi tekanan cut-in. Putar ke kiri untuk menambah tekanan cut-in. Sehingga rentang tekanan diferensial akan bertambah dan berkurang.
2. Hidupkan pompa lalu periksa pengukur tekanan apakah tekanan cut-out dan cut-in yang diinginkan sudah didapatkan.
Ulangi langkah ini sampai didapat tekanan cut-in dan cut-out yang tepat.

3. Pompa tidak mau menyala ketika air digunakan.
a) Perbedaan ketinggian yang terlalu besar antara unit sakelar otomatis dengan titik keran.
Atur tekanan cut-in.
b) Unit sakelar otomatis sudah rusak.

4. Sering mati/hidup. a) Kebocoran pada pipa. Periksa dan perbaiki pipa.
b) Tekanan awal tidak ada pada tangki tekanan, atau ukuran tangki tidak cukup.
Periksa tekanan awal tangki, dan isi kembali tangki bila perlu. Lihat bagian 7.2 Menyesuaikan tekanan awal.
5. Pompa tidak mau mati.
a) Unit sakelar otomatis sudah rusak.

6. Motor terbuka selama operasi.
a) Motor satu fasa:Sakelar termal dalam motor telah bekerja karena kepanasan.
