The transportation and logistics capabilities of the Lynden family of companies mean we have the right equipment for the job. Whether moving the cargo quickly by air, directly by highway or economically by sea, we can accommodate the needs of fi shermen, processors, restaurants and other customers.

With much of the seafood season now encompassing the warm seasons throughout the nation, Lynden understands temperature control. When product is received via inbound air, highway or barge, it is immediately placed under refrigeration. These temperatures are continuously monitored and electronic records are kept. We have refrigerated warehouse facilities in Anchorage and in the Pacifi c Northwest to assure that your product is kept at the absolute perfect temperature to maintain freshness as long as possible. With Lynden’s Cool Chainsm you can be sure we understand the special requirements necessary with seafood logistics.

Our Hercules aircraft fl y freshly caught seafood from King Salmon, Dillingham and Western Alaska to Anchorage. We transport product by truck to Anchorage from Homer, Kenai, Seward and Cordova. Seafood from Southeast and Western Alaska travels by barge and ferry to Seattle. We also move fi sh from Central Alaska to Seattle by steamship. We supply markets in Asia and other international locations from Anchorage, as well as distributing seafood to other domestic locations, via air, highway, and sea service.
