Creating a Vibration Machine from an Existing Machine
1. Create a Set for the new machine if one does not exist
2. Copy and paste the machine into the set
3. Select the machine, go to Edit>Modify by Attribute

4. Select the General Settings:
a. Select Name and update the name with the new asset name. Repeat for
Description.
b. If the machine is a VFD, the RPM point should read: MTR speed RPM
Eg. MTR 1800 RPM
If the point is not a VFD, the RPM point should read the same as above but with
the words no radio at the end. Eg. MTR 1800 RPM no radio

5. Select FFT Settings:
a. Select Speed Tag and assign the points to the RPM point. Once one point is
assigned, select the assigned point and click Set All to set the remaining points
to the same value.

b. Select Speed Ratio and check/update the speed ratios.
c. Select Speed and check/update the speed.
d. Select Frequencies and check/update the frequencies. Put both bearings that
support the shaft to each bearing position.
*Tip: Use the Set All button to expedite points with the same frequencies.
i. Bearings (10 multiples, bandwidth of 3)
ii. Impeller (4 multiples, bandwidth of 3)
iii. Gear teeth number (3 multiples, bandwidth of 3)
