PulmaCo
The combination of herbs and essential oil inPulmaCo contain
many compounds includingalkaloids (such as vasicine), flavonoids,
terpenelactones, sesquiterpene ketones, curcuminoids,diterpenoid
acids, phenolic acids, anethole andfenchone. This product is
standardised to contain38 mg per tablet of curcuminoids and 4.8
mgper tablet of ginkgo flavonglycosides (ginkgoflavone glycosides)
to ensure optimal strengthand quality.
Mode of Action
Has a range of expectorant, anti-inflammatory,spasmolytic,
bronchodilatory, mucolytic andanti-platelet activating factor
activity used intraditional herbal systems.
Indications
For relief of symptoms associated withspasmodic conditions of
the respiratorytract.For relief of coughs.
Contraindications and Cautions
Contraindicated in pregnancy due to Adhatoda.Contraindicated in
patients taking warfarin unlessunder close supervision to alter
dosesappropriately. Caution in patients taking aspirinor
haloperidol. Reduce haloperidol if necessary inconjunction with
prescribing physician.Discontinue 7 days prior to general
anaesthesia.

Dosage and Administration
Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily.Children 612 years: 1 tablet 1-2
times daily.Not to be used in children under 2 years of agewithout
medical advice.
Additional Therapy
For immune support Echinacea Premiumtablets or liquid, or
AndrographisComplex tablets.For support of the upper respiratory
tractcombine with Eyebright Complex tablets.Consider Albizia
Complex tablets for relief of symptoms of allergies.Herbal Throat
Spray for relief of sore andinflamed throat, mouth ulcers and
inflamed gums.
Ginkgo Quality Issues
The ginkgo flavonglycosides (ginkgo flavone glycosides) of
Ginkgo biloba , comprising quercetin, kaempferoland isorhamnetin
are the phytochemicals most often referred to as indicators of
quality and efficacy.However, these compounds are mainly marker
compounds which are used to identify the extract. The
