Course Objective:

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the theoretical perspectives and issues of international political economy (IPE).

To identify traditional and new approaches of IPE in order to comprehend IPE agenda

To understand history and structure of international trade and finance relations in order to comprehend relationship between major political and economic issues

To understand the major problems in IPE such as hunger and environment in order to comprehend their economic and political dimensions together

To be able to employ theories in order to analyze problems in the field of IPE

To demonstrate problem-solving capabilities in order to develop analytical skills

To work as a team member for the purpose of understanding how to work collectively
