d9 is under 180.
●⑤ Set a limit on how the values
change when you press A3.
Since pressing A3 decreases
the value of d9, set these
values to change only when
d9 is over 0.
●⑥ Now open up Test Mode and you'll see that d9's values will stay
between 0 and 180!

37
●① Open up Test Mode to start running your program!
You may have noticed in your last program that there's no limit to thevalue of variable d9. Press buttons for long enough and you'll see that the variable's value will go beyond the 0 to 180-degree limit of your Servomotor and the Servomotor will stop working! Try to turn theServomotor in the opposite direction and your robot's arm won't work until the values are back in the right range! Now open up Test Mode to check out the problem for yourself and fix your program!
You can prevent this from happening by setting a limit on the range of the variable's values, and improving your program to make sure the values stay within that limit!
Troubleshooting Your Program5
●② Hold down A0 to increase the value of d9. You'll see that the armstops moving once d9's value goes over 180!
●③ Hold down A3 to decrease the value of d9. You'll see that the armwon't move until d9's value goes under 180!
It stops working after 180!
It starts working under 180!

In Chapter 3, you programmed your Arm Robot to move freely in

You'll find packages at different heights around the course, and you'll
need to move your robot's arm up and down to reach them!
Now let's try improving your program by using a variable to move your
Servomotor up or down one degree at a time!

Put this into a condition and you'll get the following:
if Touch Sensor value is 0
if state value is 0

2 Programmiere danach, was passiert, wenn du A1 drückst.
In der Tabelle kannst du wieder ablesen, was du programmieren musst.
