The program applies rhythm patterns over source sound, so it acts like an amplitude

or phase modulator. It also provides a built-in noise and sine generater for test

purposes.

HintMaking envelopes manually might appear boring - try to save 'natural' envelopes in

Bitmap ViewofBitmaps & Waves. You can open extended Bitmap Viewby double-clicking an image, and save an envelope by right-clicking the fullscreen image.

Supplementary toolAnother tool to ease making envelopes is the graph converter. It allows to loadgraphs (saved as black'n'white Windows bitmaps, *.bmp) and convert the graphs intoenvelopes which might be used in Enrhythmizer. The converter was originallydesigned with ECGs as a data source in mind, so it can read in graphs in logarithmic

vertical scale (dB).

Notes

In order to applay the pattern changes made in the table cells, clickApplybutton.

In order to disable model noise filtration, set zero (0) Bandvalue. White noisewill be produced then.

"I did go through Enrhythmizer and even loaded a drumgroove and got interestingresults -- quite different fromSoundforge. (Soundforge --does clip the wave invarious ways thereby getting a rhythm---though this is different.) So----Enrhythmizer is a good handy tool to have."

Warning!For the sake of sound quality the sound generated by the program is scaled to fitthe whole dynamic range of a sound card. Please make sure to set volume lower before you

press the Playbutton.

The program works under Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7.

Installation is not required - click the image to download and then uncompress the zip-file,

after that the program is ready for use.
