    UNIT 11

    Student A: Booking Manager

You have discovered that you made and error in the booking. You have booked two companies intothe same room on the same day. You will have to chnage the booking of the second company and

you have two other rroms available but they are smaller. One holds 25 people and the other 15.

    Possible solutions:

The room for 30 people on another date. One of the smaller rooms at a small discount. Use of both

smaller rooms for the price of one room. A full refund plus a small discount off their next booking.

    Student B: Sales Manager

There is a problem with your conference room booking at the hotel. Here are some points to

consider in your discussion with the Booking Manager:

You dont want to change the date of the conference because this would disrupt everybodys

schedules. You dont really want to find another venue as there isnt much time before next week.

As the hotel has made a mistake, you feel strongly that they should offer a reasonable financial

compensation. Probably not all 30 delgates will attend. There are usaully 4 or 5 people who cant

    make it.
