Ein Bedarf erzeugt eine Idee … Auf ihrem Nachhauseweg von der Arbeit im Herbst 2004 passierte Michelle Romero etwas, das wahrscheinlich den meisten Frauen schon einmal erlebt haben – sie bekleckerte ihre Lieblingstasche. Entnervt von dem Gedanken, jetzt überall nach einem Ersatz suchen zu müssen und dann den gesamten Inhalt umräumen zu müssen, wünschte sie es gäbe eine Möglichkeit, nur die äussere Hülle der Tasche tauschen zu können. So kam sie auf die Idee, eine Handtasche mit wechselbaren Aussenhüllen zu entwerfen. Sie unterbreitete dem Unternehmer Corbin Church das Konzept. So entstand ein neues und einzigartiges Unternehmen mit dem Namen Miche® Bag

Quand le Besoin Crée l’Idée… A l’automne 2004, de retour du travail, Michelle Romero fait ce qui arrive à beaucoup de femmes: elle renverse du café sur son sac à main préféré. Contrariée à l’idée de devoir le remplacer et d’en transvaser tout le contenu, Michelle préfèrerait pouvoir n’en changer que l’extérieur. C’est là qu’elle imagine un sac avec des covers interchangeables. Le concept fut ensuite confié à l’entrepreneur Corbin Church, et c’est ainsi qu’est née une nouvelle société, ayant pour nom Miche® Bag.

FR A Need Creates an Idea… On the way home from work in the fall of 2004, Michelle Romero did something most women have done—she spilled on her favorite handbag. Frustrated by the thought of hunting for a replacement bag and then transferring all the contents, she wished there were a way to change just the outside of the bag. The idea immediately popped into her mind to create a bag with changeable covers. The concept was pitched to entrepreneur Corbin Church, and a unique new company named Miche® Bag was born. And to think, it all started with a spill!

Quando un bisogno crea l’idea … Nell’autunno del 2004, al rientro dal lavoro, a Michelle Romero capita ciò che probabilmente è accaduto alla maggior parte delle donne: rovescia del caffè sulla sua borsetta preferita. All’idea di doverla sostituire e di togliere il contenuto, Michelle avrebbe desiderato che ci fosse un modo per cambiare solo la parte esterna della borsetta. L’idea di creare una borsa con cover intercambiabili le venne subito in mente. Il concetto è stato sottoposto all’imprenditore Corbin Church, ed è così che nasce la nuova società che prende il nome di Miche® Bag

The Story


Millions of good people throughout the world are suffering under the burden of extreme poverty, need and disease. Miche Home Office employees as well as the other coworkers internationally are rolling up their sleeves and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Beginning in 2011 Miche is sponsoring a program called Project 6, an ambitious effort to do a yearly on-location humanitarian project in six continents over six years. In June, 2012, we headed to Ghana, West Africa to help complete a middle school for teenagers that we also funded. Thanks to the cooperation, the support and the conspicuous donations, we were able to make this project possible! The joy of the children, parents and the whole population was great!

Millionen von guten Menschen auf der ganzen Welt leiden unter extremen Armut, Not und Krankheit. Die Miche Mitarbeiter sowie die anderen internationalen Mitarbeiter machen den Unterschied im Leben der Leute, die unglücklich sind. Seit 2011 sponsert Miche ein Programm namens Project 6, ein ehrgeiziger Versuch, einen jährlichen Vor-Ort-humanitäres Projekt in sechs Kontinenten zu tun in 6 Jahren.Im Juni 2012 fuhren wir nach Ghana, West Afrika zur Vollendung eine Mittelschule für Jugendliche, dass wir finanziert haben.Dank der Zusammenarbeit, der Unterstützung und den auffälligen Spenden konnten wir dieses Projekt verwirklichen! families’ and friends’—and the Hope Shell was born!

Each Hope Shell comes with a hang tag containing an original inspirational quote from a courageous Miche Representative facing the adversities of serious illness with strength and grace. This quote sustains and carries her through even the darkest times.It is our sincere hope that these quotes will uplift you and your loved ones as you face and overcome your own challenges—whatever they may be! Miche Bag è stata creata non solo per poter cambiare l’aspetto della vostra borsetta, ma anche per poter cambiare la cover qualora quest’ultima si fosse sporcata. Certo, non ogni piccola macchia richiede necessariamente l’acquisto di una nuova cover. In un simile caso, puoi pulire la borsa o la cover con un panno umido. Miche: il modo migliore per conservare le vostre cover!Piegate le cover una volta (come nel loro imballaggio originale) o riponetele in posizione piatta. Non piegatele in tre parti, poiché ciò causa ondulazioni al materiale e creerebbe uno spazio sul fondo a livello della base. Chaque tache ne requiert pas forcément l’achat d’un nouveau cover, donc lorsque celui-ci est un peu sale, vous pouvez nettoyer le sac ou son cover à l’aide d’un linge humide.

Le Miche “Organizer” est la solution idéale pour ranger vos covers!

Vous pouvez plier vos covers en deux (comme dans leur emballage d’origine) ou les laisser à plat. Ne les pliez pas en trois car le matériau gondolerait et cela ferait un creux au niveau de la base. Rangez vos covers en alternant le sens des pieds métalliques, afin d’éviter toute marque sur le cover voisin.

Le Miche Bag est conçu pour se détendre ; toutefois, si vous trouvez que les bords de votre sac se déforment, cela signifie que vous le remplissez trop. Certains covers Miche sont fabriqués en PU (similicuir), un matériau qui peut facilement des traces de couleur sur les autres covers. Ainsi, lorsque vous les rangez, placez une protection entre chaque cover (par exemple une serviette en papier ou un tissu doux). Les covers sont également sensibles à la chaleur et à l’humidité, c’est pourquoi il est important de les conserver à température ambiante.

Wenn Sie aber feststellen, dass die Seiten Ihrer Tasche die Form verlieren, überlasten Sie die Tasche. Einige Miche-Hüllen bestehen aus PU-Material. Dieses Material kann Farbe von einer Hülle auf eine andere übertragen. Wir empfehlen, beim Stapeln der Hüllen jeweils ein Taschentuch oder ein Stofftuch als Schutz dazwischen zulegen. Diese Hüllen können auch durch Hitzeeinwirkung und Feuchtigkeit beschädigt werden und sollten daher bei Zimmertemperatur aufbewahrt werden.

The Miche Bag was created so that consumers could not only change the look of their bag, but could also switch out their shell if it became dirty. We realize that not all spills require the purchase of a new shell, so if your shell becomes slightly soiled, you may wipe the bag or shells with a damp cloth.

The Miche Organizer is the best way to store your shells!

When storing your new shells you will want to fold them over once (as they were in the original packaging) or lay them flat. Do not fold them in thirds as this will cause the material to ripple and create a gap at the bottom edge of the base.

You will want to alternate the direction of the metal feet when stacking your shells to avoid any indentations on the adjacent shell.

The Miche Bag is designed to expand, however, if you find the sides of your bag are losing shape, you are overstuffing your bag.

Some Miche shells are made with a material called PU, one of the characteristics of this material is the potential to transfer color from one shell to another. You will want to place a protective barrier such as tissue paper or fabric in between shells when stacking. These shells can also be affected by heat and humidity so make sure that you store them at room temperature.
