I, LeLisa Bolton, am the author of all the material presented and contained within this
career portfolio. The authenticity of my work is original and at no time should be
plagiarized or copied without my permission. This is a truthful representation of my
work and skills.
STATEMENT OF AUTHENTICITY
I am at my best when I am able to be a blessing to others; when I am helping others it
gives me strength, joy, and pleasure. I look for opportunities to demonstrate my natural
abilities, skills, and talents; and knowledge acquired through learning. I value my beliefs
in God’s Word. I value good friends. I value honesty and integrity in a person or a
relationship. I really value the TRUTH! I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the
four dimensions of my life: proper rest, putting God first, casting down negativity, and
allowing more room for forgiveness, empathy, and loyalty. I love achieving results, by
facilitating and working together in implementing company goals and objectives. I strive
to overcome weaknesses; we all face weaknesses, however, it is the strength we have that
keeps us persevering. I will do my best at giving my best.
PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT
I am devoted in being a pillar that reinforces the foundation, which
has already been laid in a corporation. As part of the team I can bring a

Dear Sir or Madam:
My name is Trisha Laukaitis, and I am a professor at DeVry University. I would like to take the opportunity to sing the praises of one of my students, Ms. LeLisa Bolton. Ms. Bolton has proven herself to be an outstanding student, earning exemplary grades and consistently submitting impeccable work, and I appreciate the opportunity to recommend her without reservation.
As an instructor, I experience many students asking for letters of recommendation. I can honestly say that writing one for Ms. Bolton is a true honor. Our Introduction to Humanities class is an online integrated study of the Humanities in which a final project provides the majority of the student’s grade. From the very first week, Ms. Bolton impressed me with the way she approached her work with enthusiasm and passion. Attending college while balancing work and family is always challenging; adding the online modality introduces even more difficulties than in a face-to-face team setting. Ms. Bolton excelled within the complexity, setting a first-rate example for her peers throughout the eight-week class, culminating with earning an excellent score on her final project, midterm, final, and class participation. I witnessed her going above and beyond the call of duty in all areas of our class, and it was clear that she possessed outstanding study skills, determination, and conscientiousness. Her work was always submitted on time, and she kept exceptional communication with me throughout our class. Simply put: Ms. Bolton is a true scholar and student of distinction. I was impressed with her performance from day one, and Ms. Bolton never wavered from being a student and leader of excellence.
In summary, I recommend Ms. Bolton unreservedly. Please let me know what questions you have, and I thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Trisha Laukaitis, M.A., M.S.Ed.
