The sturdy andflexible bulk loader
Built-in reliability
The Fluxo filling device is a movable
bulk loader specially designed for
loading aerable materials such as
cement, fly ash, raw meal and filter
dust from silos into road tankers or
tank wagons. The key word behind its
design? Reliability. The challenges
facing the designer of a bulk loader are
to ensure minimum wear and
maximum flexibility, while reducing
specific power consumption as much
as possible. The Fluxo filling device for
cement and related products rises to
these challenges and consists of
standard components built into a
compact unit.
Two types
The Fluxo filling device comes in two
types MBL and MBLT. Type MBL
(Mobile Bulk loader with Longitudinal
travel) is for longitudinal travel only,
which means that positioning of the tank
is fairly important. This type is normally
used when loading train wagons.
If transverse travel is also required, the
MBLT (Mobile Bulk loader with Longi-
tudinal and Transverse travel) is used.
Transverse travel facilitates truck loading.
Both types are available with two sizes
of integrated Jet Pulse filters. The
MBL-16 /MBLT-16 is supplied where only
little dedusting capacity is necessary. If,
on the other hand, the Fluxo filling device
is placed under a CFS silo (cement stor-
age), an MBL-24/MBLT-24 will be capable
of dedusting the silo, the conveying
equipment, the Fluxo filling device and
the road tanker or tank wagon.
Fluxoslide system
The Fluxo filling device consists of a
swivel Fluxoslide system with integrated
aeration fan. Only one fan is used for
the Fluxo slide system. A grid in the inlet
protects foreign matter from damaging
the aeration fabric. Any impurities can
be removed via an inspection opening.
The swivel points allowing the carriage
to travel freely consist of a specially
designed, pressure-tight bearing
lubricated for long service life.

The silo shown above is a multi-
compartment silo storing two types
of cement one is stored in the
centre compartment and the other
in the ring compartment. Both bulk
loaders are capable of loading both
types of cement. All dedusting
from silo, Fluxoslides, bulk loaders
and tanker trucks takes place via
the integrated Jet Pulse filters.
This ensures that no matter what
type of cement is being loaded,
all the product will enter the tank.
There is no waste and no need for
a complex dedusting arrangement.
