Optimization strategy:
• Ideally, the problem formulation should have as many independent design
variables as possible.
• However, the number of simulations needed in any study type is a function
of the number of design variables.
• Start optimization with a DOE, which are used to investigate the sensitivity
of system responses to the changes in the design variables
