Slavery still continues, Judgement still comes “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in

which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.” (Ephesians 2:1-3)

Another redeemer has come “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look,

the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!’” (John 1:29)A new “Passover” with a new promise

“When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples, ‘As you know, the Passover is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.’” (Matthew 26:1-2)
