Thank God that through His arrangement, we were able to have Eld Chen Heng Tao (from Taiwan) lead us in this first Preachers’ Spiritual Nurture seminar of the year.

We studied the book Revelation. The lessons were fully conducted by Eld Chen Heng Tao who shared much of the understanding, knowledge and experience gained through his years. Within a short period of five days, Eld Chen was able to explain verses and chapters of the book from different angles. He impressed on us that though some parts of the book cannot be fully understood, this should not hinder us from exploring the book. Instead, in these last days, we should be more eager to seek the Lord’s guidance. Revelation 1:3 teaches us how we should view this book. “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near”

During these few days, many brothers and sisters volunteered to help in meal preparation. We all enjoyed the delicious food lovingly prepared by them for the ministers and workers. Even Eld Chen praised them for their excellent cooking. We thank them for their labour of love. May the Lord remember them.

2009年的第一梯次传道者进修会在2月22日开始直至26

日才结束。感谢主的带领，我们这次很荣幸的有陈恒道

长老从台湾老远的地方，来到本国协助我们的进修课程。

这次的进修项目是圣经中的“启示录”，完全由陈长老

一人来解释他历年来所研究的心得。陈长老在短短的五

天内，就能把整个启示录每章每节的精要都讲解出来，

甚至也利用许多不同的角度去看启示录这卷书。长老提

醒我们，虽然这卷书还有一些未能完全释义的地方，但

这却不能成为我们不“动”这卷书的理由，反之，在这

末世的时代更要加紧来认知有关主在末世的嘱咐。因为

在启示录1章3节这样的导出我们今日真教会如何看待这

卷人人惧而远之的天启之书：

“念这书上预言的和那些听见又遵守其中所记载的，都

是有福的，因为日期了”。

在总会开办此进修会的这些日子中，中区的各地方教会

都有许多甘心乐意的弟兄姐妹前来帮助炊事的工作。他

们为传道者以及总会的一些负责人及办事员准备许多的

佳肴美食，让我们能够敞开朵颐，甚至陈长老也称赞他

们有美好的厨艺。感谢他们的付出也愿主记念大家的辛

劳！

Opening Ceremony At 7.30pm of 29th March 2009, 62 delegates from worldwide General Assemblies of True Jesus Church gathered at the West Malaysia General Assembly’s Olive Garden Training Center at Port Dickson. It was the opening ceremony of the 10th Term’s first World Delegates Conference: the prelude to the two-day conference to discuss our mission for the Kingdom of God.

In his speech, Chairman of the International Assembly, Elder Lin Yung Ji recalled the church development process of more than 90 years. The church was preached to 11 countries in the first 30 years, but only eight countries in the next 30, and in the last 30 years to another 30 more countries. This development was made possible by the establishment of the International Assembly. It began with the one-minded desire of a team to serve which received the blessing and co-working of God. Although the work now faced a bottleneck, such as insufficient preachers it is believed that the church would surely “Arise and shine!” as recorded in the book of Isaiah. The True Church would surely be more beautiful, just as what Prophet Haggai said: “The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former!” With churches receiving the pastoral care by elders and deacons, the quality of members have greatly improved, so that

开幕式 2009年3月29日晚上七点半钟, 来自真耶稣教会世界各国总会的62位代表们聚集在西马总会位于波

德申的橄榄园训练中心参加第十届第一次的世界代表大会之开幕仪式, 为两天的大会揭开序幕, 以

共商神国大业。

国际联合总会总负责林永基长老在致词中回顾了本会历经九十多年来的发展过程。头卅年传到了

11国，次卅年却只传到另8国，再卅年后至今传到了另三十多个国家。能有如此进展是因为在1967

年时有了国际联合总会的设立，开始了团队同心合意的事奉，而得真神的同工之故。虽然现下工

作上遇见瓶颈，如传道人数不够，经常是一人当三人用，但相信本会必定会如以赛亚书60章1节

所说的：兴起发光！真教会必会愈来愈美，如同哈该先知所言：这殿后来的荣耀必大过先前的荣

耀！长老执事应负起牧养教会的职责，信徒的素质必大大提升，而传道更能专注于宣道拯救灵魂

的工作。教会需要有更多能操各种语言的人才，参与传道工作，用当地的语言传给当地人，并使

福音传播当地化。

然而传福音之大业非单靠传道人而已，期盼有更多志工参与事奉。积极事奉的邦国灵命才不会衰败！

林长老最后也提到当今迫切需要的是网络事工。两天的圣工研讨会，与会者建议两项：研发儿童

网页，并征召栽培网络专职传道，以期速将主道传开。

致词过后南区62人联合诗班献诗。他们风尘仆仆的从300多公里外赶来，精神已够令人感动。他们

欢唱，渐进高音的赞美更令人心振奋。当小弟兄小姐妹们出场挥舞各国国旗，象征福音要传入万

国时，情景更激励人心，要去夺取未得之地！

巴生教会别开生面地用各种乐器演奏了几个曲目。有《感恩》，古犹太诗《听我的哭声》和赞美

诗314及528首。从钢琴，六弦琴，小提琴，笛子，长笛，箫，陶笛，中提琴和敲击乐器木琴所发出

preachers were able to concentrate more on the work of evangelism and saving souls. The church requires more people who are multi-lingual to come out to preach the word; using the local language to preach to the locals, and so allowing the localization of spreading the gospel.

However the great mission of preaching the gospel is not only on the preachers. It is hoped that more voluntary workers would come forward to join this work. It is only when people are willing to serve the Lord that their spiritual life can grow and not decay.

Lastly Elder Lin also mentioned the current urgent need of the work through web page. One of the conclusions from the two-day Divine Workers’ Forum is the need to be more proactive in developing the children web page and to train full-time preachers to support the web page so that the Word of the Lord can be swiftly preached.

After the speech, the Southern Region Combined Choir of 62 members presented hymns. Their spirit of rushing more than 300km to the venue was very touching. Their joyful and lively praise was also most inspiring. Then, the little brothers and sisters came out waving the flags of each country to represent that the gospel must be spread throughout the nations. It was a great motivation; reminding us that we must go and seize places not yet obtained.

Klang Church presented several hymns through their original and unique use of various musical instruments. Their presentation included “Give Thanks”, an ancient Jewish psalm “Listen to My Cries” and Hymns 314 and 528. The harmonious and beautiful melody of the piano, guitar, violin, bamboo flute, flute, pan pipe, ocarina, viola and xylophone brought out the calls of the deep suffering heart. There was also the light and joyful melody of working with the Lord. May all these be acceptable to Him.

In his speech, the Chairman of West Malaysia General Assembly, Elder Joshua Phoong said it was indeed the grace of God: being able to take on this task to hold the World Delegates Conference, and so having the opportunity to serve all. The meeting of the shepherds was not only to discuss administrative affairs, but also a fellowship of the family. How beautify it was to see brethren staying together in harmony, whether at the meeting hall, the corridor, the dormitory or the dining hall.

Finally, after the introduction of each country’s General Assembly and their delegates, the opening ceremony ended with the simple and crisp voices of the Hosanna Choir.

Closing Ceremony After two hectic days, the World Delegates Conference came to an end on the 31st of May 2009. Under the chairmanship of Pr Jonathan Chou, who is the International Assembly (IA) Training Department Person-in-Charge, the Closing Ceremony officially commenced at 7.30pm.

In a speech by Elder Lin Yung Ji, once again he thanked the General Assembly (GA) of West Malaysia for its efficiency and love in taking good care of the delegates.

He mentioned that in this election, it was indeed a miraculous arrangement of God that the present IA Standing Committee was re-elected to serve. In the past 4 years of working together and having had a strong bond with each other, it is all the more a grace that should

开幕式最后在各国总会各自介绍与会代表们后，在和撒那诗班的纯朴歌声中结束，为往后两天

的大会揭开序幕。

闭幕式经过了两天紧凑的会议后, 此届代表大会终於在卅一日进入尾声。

在联总训练部负责周惠嘉传道的主领下闭幕仪式于晚上七点半正式开始。

林永基长老在致词中再次感谢西马总会之效率和细腻的爱心，将与会神仆们照顾得无微不至。

他提到此次改选，所有常务负责人都得以连任，是神奇妙的安排。过去四年有了良好的默契，

更应珍惜神的恩典，自我勉励！藉着圣灵有创意的带领，做起事来就不会一成不变。神仆们要

追求圣灵的充满，看到神高效率的动作。也期望同工们能同心，用耳朵听神的旨意，用眼睛看

教会的需要，用心思想，看神要达到甚么目标，用口勉励各国的人才，积极事奉，用脚走到该

到之地。属灵的争战不是在屋内打，而是要勇敢走出去，得那未得之地！要用手谦卑服事。要

能不断走在神的道路上，尚未回归到圣经上的，要赶紧回归。这包括：

1）长执传道之事奉角色

2）“教会一家”的牧养方向

他也点出各国都迫切需要语文人才，一人工作力量太单薄，二人同行更有力。

各国代表们的心都迫切，已决议要广招语文人才，并积极研发儿童网络事工，同时招聘专职传

道加强现有网络事工之效率！也寄望移民到各国的华人除了寻求更好的生活外，要作福音的先

锋。住在偏远地方的信徒得以藉网络聚会得到牧养。

林长老恳求大家向联总提供意见，如何能动员各国的人才作前方先锋的工作，同时也顾及一样

重要的后方，用全球性的视野来工作。信徒亦必乐意奉献，主必开路！

最后他以 弗6：10 作末了的话：靠主的大能大力，作刚强的人。回家路上，一路平安。

be cherished as all of them are edified spiritually as well. Through the guidance and creative ideas from the Holy Spirit, the work done was different although the committee members were the same. He encouraged the servants of God to pursue after the infilling of the Holy Spirit so that we can see the mighty effects of God’s actions. He also hoped that all co-workers can be of one-mind; listening to the will of God with their ears, seeing the needs of the church with their eyes, thinking of the goals that we want to achieve for God with our hearts, encouraging more talented members from different countries to serve God with our mouths, and walking to our destination with our feet. The spiritual battle is not to be fought internally; we are to take the bold steps out to conquer the land that has yet to be conquered! We should serve with a humble hand and to walk continuously in God’s path. For those who have yet to return to the Bible, we should quickly do so in these aspects; 1. The ministers’ role in divine service 2. “The Church in one Family” pastoral direction of the church

Pr Lin also mentioned the urgent need of linguist talents in our churches around the world. The strength of one man working alone is limited but when two men walk together, their strength is compounded. The delegates are earnest in recruiting more talents to pioneer children’s internet ministry network as well as to recruit full-time preachers to strengthen the internet ministry as a whole! It is also hoped that all migrants in their newly adopted country will become pioneers of the gospel besides striving for a better living. These members living in the suburban areas should seek pastoral care via internet. Elder Lin urged all the delegates to provide suggestions to IA on how to mobilize talents from all over the world to engage in pioneering and pastoral work with global foresight. God will open the way when we offer our talents cheerfully!

Finally, he cited Ephesians 6:10 to conclude his speech: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” El Lin wished the delegates a safe journey home.

Scenario during the International Assembly Meetings More debates and more truth will be revealed

Truth research is not an easy task. We have spent many hours to mull over and debate on a sentence or a term stated in the Scripture however most of the time we could not reach any conclusion.

Those who participated in the debate manifested their spirituality. They debated but they did not quarrel. They criticized but no personal attack against one another. In order to preserve the pure words of God and to disclose the truth in the Scripture, our co-workers disregarded their personal feelings and boldly quoted the words in the Scriptures to support their views so that the faith of True Jesus Church may be in accordance with the will of God.

There is only one spirit and one truth. The spirit of truth will guide us to debate and reveal more truth so that we can reach a common understanding towards the words of God and this is our conviction.

Commendations from elderly ministers

“The ministers, brothers and sisters who came to fetch us at the airport briefed us about the environment in Olive Garden. They are knowledgeable in all areas. Even though there is only one guest arriving at the airport, they will pick up the guest so that the guest can rest at Olive Garden….”

“During breakfast, I accidentally spilt some curry on my dress so after breakfast, I quickly soaked my dress so that I can wash it later. When I came back from the meeting, my dress has been washed and is drying out in the drying area….”

“I was walking up and down looking for the washroom and the working committee initiatively approached me and showed me the way. Whenever there’s a need, they will tacitly guide me to the washroom with a smiling face.”

These statements made by Elder Hsieh Shun Dao after the Friday evening service gave great encouragement to all the working committee and they rejoiced over the appreciation expressed by the elders.

联总会议～～场里场外

越辩越近

研究真理真不简单，圣经里的

一词半句，用上好几个小时琢

磨钻研，也未必肯定有结论。

参与者表现了崇高的灵修风

范，有争论没争吵，有批评

没攻击。为了守护神纯正的

话语，为了表明圣经真理，同

工之间毫不忌违，摒弃个人

感受，单刀直入地引经据典力

辩，为求真教会的信仰更达神

意。

圣灵只有一个，真理只有一

是，真理的圣灵必会引导大

家，越辩越近，在真道上同归

于一，这是大家共同的信念。

长辈称许

“在机场接机的那班长执弟兄

姐妹，协助我们办简报，对每

个部门都很熟悉；不论多少人

来，即使一人抵达，也直接把

我们载到橄榄园，好让我们先

休息。。”

“。。我在用早餐时，不小心

咖喱汁沾到衣服，早餐后连忙

将衣服浸泡在桶里，以便过后

容易清洗；怎知开完会回来，

衣服已经洗好挂在衣架上晾

干。。”

“。。我走来走去找洗手间，

工作人员自动趋前来问我，给

我指示方向；所以，每当我有

需要时，不必再问，工作人员

心领神会，向我笑笑，指向洗

手间。。”

谢顺道长老在星期五晚间聚会

后说了这番话，令参与工作的

弟兄姐妹如吃蜂蜜，心里甜丝

丝。长辈的称许，激发了大伙

儿事奉的力量。

Closing Ceremony...

The combined choir of Gombak, Cheras and Kajang of 40 members presented 3 hymns whilst the combined choir of Subang and Petaling Jaya sang 5 hymns. Their voices of praise certainly reached the throne of God in heaven.

Elder Joshua Phoong, in his speech mentioned humbly that he has learnt much from this God-given opportunity to serve. Despite the short preparation, limited resources, lack of experience, and the urge to write to IA to request for other GAs to hold this event, the GA of Malaysia has finally accepted to host this conference knowing that this is His work and in his Hand, nothing is impossible. He also noticed the joy of the volunteers from the various departments who have served whole-heartedly without complaining, some of them even working till late at night, they regarded it as a grace to be able to work for God rather than just a sacrifice on their part, other wise, how can it possibly be sustained?

The Chairman of the Indonesian GA said that there were many angels who ministered to him during this conference and he witnessed spiritual sardius, sardonyx and sapphire. It seems that our volunteers are the precious gems and invaluable treasures of God.

Finally, Elder Lin introduced and acknowledged the conference organizing committee;

The closing ceremony ended after the singing of hymn 174 “The True Church shall be Established”. May all glory and praises be given to our Father in heaven.

闭幕式......

鹅麦，蕉赖和加影教会40人联合诗班献唱了三首诗，八打灵

和梳邦教会四十一人联合诗班献唱五首，带有浓郁肃穆赞美

的歌声，上达於天。

冯约书亚长老致词中谦虚地说，从神给的服事机会里，学习

到许多。虽然准备时间很短促，资源也有限，加上经验不

足，一度还想写信给联总先让其他的总会承办。但最后还是

接下，因为认识到，这既然是神的工作，那藉祂的手又有甚

么工不能完成呢？他也从这次参与支援大会的各部们工人身

上看到无比的喜乐。因为是服事神，工人都尽心协力把工作

做好，即使忙到半夜也无怨言，看作是「赏赐」。若把这些

努力看成是「牺牲」，又怎会持之以恒呢？

印尼总会总负责还说这次开会有许多天使环绕服事他，他看

到了一颗颗的属灵红宝石，玛瑙和蓝宝石。看来我们的工人

们都是价值连城的宝石！

最后，林长老为大家介绍了筹备委员会的几位「尊贵」仆

闭幕仪式在诗歌174首「真教会必兴起」浑厚的歌声中结束。

To witness the “glory”

Reception

We seldom eat three apples at one go but many can consume three durians at one go.

During the 1st day of the Symposium, Malaysia GA bought 80 of the best durians to Olive Garden, namely “Mao Shan Wang”, “Zhu Jiao” and “XO” so that all the participants could have a durian feast. Durian is one of the best creations of God. They are creamy and the fruit tasted sweet cum bitter and the sweet aroma attracted many of the participants.

While everyone was so fascinated by durians, one of the elder fled away quickly. Can you guess who he is?

Have a retreat overseas

The languages used for the World Delegates Conference were Mandarin and English. In order to cater for the needs of the Indonesian and Korean participants, we have interpreters who interpret into these two languages.

During the morning prayer session, a preacher from Korea made a brief report of the divine work in Korea. He spoke rapidly and in a low and deep tone. I tried to comprehend his words by thinking about it during the short span of interpretation time.

During his report, we are aware that Korea GA emphasized on the training for preachers. Therefore, they have plans to send their preachers to further their studies in Taiwan GA annually. The preacher misstated the words “further study”

赵传道：“荣光啊。”

黄传道：“我。。还是不明

白。。”

赵传道：“刚才萧荣光执事从

你身后走过，你没看见吗？”

黄传道：“原来是这样啊，哈

哈哈。。”

果王招待

鲜少有人一口气吃下三个苹

果，但一口气吃下三个榴槤却

大有人在。

圣工研讨会首天夜宵，马总带

来了八十个果王，“猫山王”

、“竹脚”、“XO”等“名

榴”都到齐，让大伙儿大快朵

颐。黄肉干包，苦中带甘，入

口滑爽，香味扑鼻，是创造中

的上上之作。

然而，在众人迷倒在果王的魅

力下时，一位长老早已“闻香

丧胆”，绝迹在果王的范围

内。你道是谁？

出国休息

联总会议主要是以华英语进行，

印尼语及韩语也派上用场。

早祷会韩总传道用华语为该国

做圣工报告，说话语速极快，

加上嗓音低沉，笔者总是在他

说完了一句，趁着翻译的时间

消化理解。

报告中得悉韩总重视传道进

修，每年计划性地委派传道人

远到台总学习。传道一时口

快，把“出国学习”说成“出

as “have a retreat overseas” and the audience stared at him. All the participants are ministers who labor for the Lord day and night and they are shocked when they hear about the preachers having holidays overseas annually.

A glimpse of the opening ceremony

The choir presentation resounded through the hall during the opening ceremony, i.e. the combined choir presentation by Johor Baru Church, Seremban Church, Port Dickson Church and Bahau Church.

The scenario climaxed at the finale when everyone joined them to sing the hymn “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah”. We were especially moved when a group of children holding flags of different countries marched into the hall during the finale.

The love of Lord Jesus attracted the divine workers from all over the world to assemble at Olive Garden disregard of the arduous journey to discuss the strategies to prosper the gospel and the development of

the kingdom of God.

The World Delegates Conference held the closing ceremony on the 31st March 2009. Delegates were bidding farewell to one another and they were served with barbequed lamb chop. Olive Garden was crowded and hearty laughter can be heard at that time.

When the crowd has fully enjoyed the event and dispersed at midnight, Pr. Ko Hong-Hsiung who was not feeling well since the beginning of the conference was advised to have a MRI scan for his brain in Seremban private Hospital. He was admitted to Melaka Pantai Medical Centre for operation on the next day.

Thank God that the operation was carried out successfully and Pr. Ko is recuperating from his operation. His wife and family members are taking care of him currently and he will return home after he has fully recovered.

“Preacher, many members are praying for you so please cheer up. May the peace be with you!”

联合芙蓉教会、马口教会和波

德申教会在代表大会开幕礼呈

献诗歌。诗班指挥劲力十足，

歌声响彻云霄。

最后一首请全场齐唱“荣耀荣

耀哈利路亚”，场面激昂。尤

为感人的是，曲末一群小朋友

手摇着各国旗帜从场外徐徐进

来，更是令人热血沸腾。

主耶稣的爱，把各国教会圣

工人员吸引过来，也因为爱

主，大家不计路途遥远，舟车

劳累，来到橄榄园，为主福音

的兴旺，为神国的拓展共商对

策。

3月31日，代表大会落幕，场

内代表们互道平安再见，场外

We thank the guidance of God, the Extended Theological Training Course organized by the General Assemble Training Department was successfully conducted. We offer our sincere thanks to the two preachers who led the course and not forgetting our special thanks to our Cheras Church brothers and sisters for preparing the food and accommodation for the preachers and students. There were about 16 students who attended the course. The purpose of this course, which is an extension of the Theological Training Course, was to further nurture and enhance the future pillars of the church in the truth. The theme - ‘The Mind of God’ was a fervent reminder to every student that they must develop a Christ-like mind; in turn, when they return to their respective churches with the words deeply embedded, they must with an eager heart continue to shine for the Lord in their journey of faith.

The course placed emphasis on three books of the Prophets; the book of Hosea was taught by Pr Ezekiel Chang whilst the books of Amos and Micah were taught by Pr Amos. During this course, besides learning how to apply various methods of interpretation expressed by the preachers on the technique of studying the Bible, they were also encouraged to make comparisons between the verses in relation to the current situation. The students also had the opportunity to listen to the preachers’ personal experiences and testimonies, and thereby they gained further insight and spiritual teachings as well. Students also raised questions during the lessons so that they may attain a better and deeper understanding.

Students were required to take turns to lead the morning and evening prayer sessions so that they can be trained to lead services. The evening prayer service was specially meant for the prayer for the Holy Spirit. Moreover, students had to take the initiative to be concerned for the cleanliness and tidiness of their surroundings; therefore the duty roster was conspicuously absent!

Other activities included: joining the local youth service, interacting and playing table tennis with the preachers every late afternoon and enjoying the supper prepared by the students. The preachers also took the students to enjoy the scenic night view of ‘mini Genting’ and on the last day, the students visited several Central Region churches and tourist spots.

Once again, we thank the grace of God, that at the conclusion of the course, the students were edified. All glory be given unto the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

我们感谢神的带领，让总会训练部所举办的延伸神学训练课程得以顺

利举开。课程的目的是延续神训课程之后，继续用神的真理来培养教

会未来的柱石。课程主题是“神的心”，是希望每一位学员都能以基

督的心为心，把所学习的道理和一颗对神火热的心带回各自教会，在

信仰的道路上，继续为主发光。谢谢两位带领此课程的传道，也特别

谢谢蕉赖教会的兄弟姐妹，为传道和学员准备膳食与住宿。此课程的

参加人数大约有16名学员。

课程着重于三本先知书∶“何西阿书”是由张以西结传道带领，而“

阿摩司书”和“弥迦书”是由阿摩司传道带领。在课程中，学员除了

可以学习如何从不同的传道的解经方式去看圣经，找出经文与现今情

况的对照，也听到传道的个人经历与见证，亦有课外的属灵教训。学

员也可在课程上提出问题，好让大家有更深入的了解。

除此之外，学员必须每日轮流带领早晚的祷告会，为要让学员学习如

何带领聚会。晚祷会也是祈求圣灵祷告会。另外，学员也学习应该自

动自发地保持周遭的卫生与干净，因此没有清洁值勤的分组。

其他所进行的活动包括∶参加当地教会的青年聚会，每日傍晚学员与

传道的互动与打乒乓，还有享用学员一起烹煮的爱心消夜。传道也贴

心地带学员去‘小云顶’观看夜景，最后一天学员去参观了中区的几

间教会和一些名胜地。

再次感谢神的恩典，让学员在课程中得到造就，将一切荣耀归于主耶

稣基督的名，阿门。

Pr. Ko Hong Hsiung underwent an emergency brain operation in Pantai Hospital, Malacca for brain (subdural) hemorrhage. After 3 weeks of recuperation, on the 20th April, his joyous voice was heard again, an obvious sign of recovery to his previous vigor and health. Pr. Ko returned to Germany on 21st April. In his 3-week stay in Malaysia, he delivered a total of 5 sermons. Once, during the service, one brethren saw 5 angels encamped around Pr. Ko, and the congregation thanked the Lord.

“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him” (Psalms 91:15)

柯恒雄传道因脑部(硬膜下)血管溢血，于4月1在马六

甲医院接受脑部手术，经过三个星期的休息后，于20

日听见传道欣喜的声音，显然地他精神多了，今已完

全康复。传道已于2009年4月21日返回德国。柯传道

在马来西亚这三周期间曾经证道五次，有一次聚会同

灵见证台上有五位天使守护在柯传道身边，让全体会

众由衷感谢主。

「他若求告我，我就应允他；他在急难中，我要与他

同在；我要搭救他， 使他尊贵。」（诗91:15）

An overview of the Northern Region Evangelistic Meeting 北区布道会纵览

Therefore most workers were relatively new and inexperienced in jobs assigned to them. Minor problems and glitches were precious teaching experiences. It was beautiful to see how God works to bring all things to completion.

The outcome was yet to be seen. Gloomy weather and tight preparation schedules on that day caused some unease. However as the crowd began to arrive and the first prayer began, things began to look up. The approximately 320 chairs prepared in the ballroom were filled. Chairs were added and the crowd in the ballroom swelled to about 350 people. Inclusive of the 60 people in the childcare room, the number of participants ballooned to 110 above the original target. More encouragingly, about 20% of them were truthseeking friends and relatives from Penang and as far away as Kulim and Padang Serai. Most of them were brought by church believers while a fair number came through newspapers advertisements and flyer distributions to listen to the wonderful message of ‘What is Life Like’ by Elder Chen Heng-Tao.

After this sowing phase, the critical stage of watering has now begun. The Lord will definitely continue to guide us in this matter as He has throughout the whole planning, organization and execution process of this event. May all glory and praise be unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

于所托付的工作缺乏经验。一些小问题与故障是宝贵的学习经

验。看着神动工成就所有的事情是非常美好的。

当还未看到结果时，阴沉的天气与紧张的准备工作令人不安。然

而当人群开始抵达，第一次的祷告开始时，情况转善。备有320

个座位的宴会厅都座无虚席。我们需要加椅子，及至厅里人数达

350人。若包括在育儿室里的60人，出席人数比原定目标多出了

110位。更令人鼓舞的是，当中大约20巴仙的人是从槟城，甚至

遥远的居林及巴东色海来的慕道亲戚朋友们。他们是由信徒带

领，而因报章所刊登的广告及传单而来的也相当多。他们都来听

陈恒道长老的信息“人生像什么？”

撒种告一段落，而关键的浇灌阶段现已开始。神必定会在这事上

继续带领我们，如同他带领了此圣会的整个计划，组织与的进行

过程。愿一切荣耀，颂赞都归于主耶稣基督。

Below are the two testimonies of Sister Kwan Choy Lian from True Jesus Church, Chendrong. Our entire family went to church together on a Sabbath afternoon a few years ago. We did not notice anything amiss after returning home. As we were closing the doors before turning in, we found that the door lock has been tampered and was broken; and discovered a long rod behind our house. Then we realized some one was trying to break into our house but failed. The door locks are all broken and it was easy for him to enter but was not able to do so because the Lord Jesus did not allow him to enter.

Early this year, in an afternoon, my son who was 10 years old was playing in the back garden. Eventually he ended up playing with pieces of glass bottle which was found on the ground. Out of carelessness, he fell down and the broken glass cut his wrist and bleeding profusely. His grandfather took him to the hospital immediately and the doctor said that the cut has almost cut off the nerves of his hand and would become handicapped if the wound gets deeper. Thank the Lord! He had 8 stitches and had taught him a lesson and reminds him to be careful in the future. May all the praise and glory be unto Jesus’ name.

以下是贞德隆教会管彩莲姐妹的家庭见证:

好几年前的一个下午, 我们全家都上教会去守安息日，回家后也没发现有什么不妥，直到晚上睡觉前要关后

门, 才发觉锁头被人撬坏了, 屋后地上有条长棍, 才知道有贼想偷进屋子, 但却没进到。感谢主，是主耶稣不

给他进, 因锁头都坏了, 他可以轻而易举的进屋, 但却进不了。

在今年初的一个下午, 我的大儿子, 今年10岁, 跑到屋后草场玩， 后来竟玩起地上被人丢掉的旧玻璃酒瓶

来。接着不小心跌倒，那玻璃瓶就插到自己的左手手腕上, 刚刚好是脉门上, 血一直不停的流。公公马上送他

进院，医生说已差不多插到手筋了, 再割深一点就会残废，真的感谢主! 只缝了8针, 这给了他一个教训, 希

望他以后不再那么顽皮，愿一切荣耀都归给主耶稣。

Date : 28 February, 2009Venue : Berjaya Georgetown Hotel, PenangParticipants : approximately 410 Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for His wonderful grace and mercy that the above convocation was carried out smoothly. Though it rained prior to the event, by the mercy of God the weather toned down to a mere cloudy evening with the occasional drizzle. Hence truthseekers from the Kedah and Penang states were given this opportunity to hear and experience God’s salvation grace.

Preparation for the event started as early as the last quarter of 2008. The most challenging part was the search for a suitable venue to cater for an approximate 300 people. It was only in early January this year that this hotel was found and confirmed available. God’s guidance could be experienced even at this early stage of preparation. The night this venue was visited proved to be smooth-sailing with parking space readily available. Yes, a vacant parking lot was right before our eyes when we arrived! (This hotel is located at a very busy area of town.) More encouragingly, we managed to book the ballroom which was originally booked by a well-known multinational company (MNC). What was amazing was that the timing was just right! We managed to book it just after the MNC’s cancellation and before it was taken up by anyone else! Securing the venue just 1 and a half months before the event was not the effort of man, but of God’s great guidance and mercy.

By God’s motivation, with the support of ministers as well as prayers of fellow members, about 50 believers from across the Northern Region churches coordinated their efforts for the success of the event. The last time a similar event of this scale was held was 10 years ago.

在圣会前下了一阵雨，因着神的恩慈，天气缓和了下来。晚上只

是乌云满布，偶尔下毛毛雨。因此从吉打州及槟州来的慕道者有

机会得听见并体会神的救恩。

此圣会的筹备工作从2008年的最后一季已开始。而最具挑战性的

乃寻找足以容纳大约300人的合适地点。直到今年一月初，我们

才找到这家旅馆。在筹备工作初期，我们体会神的带领。当晚迅

速地找到泊车位，因在我们抵达时，眼前所见就是一个空的停车

位。（这旅馆坐落在一个很繁华的小镇）。更令人鼓舞的是，在

别人未采取行动以先，我们成功预定原本已被一件著名跨国公司

（MNG）所预定的宴会厅。在圣会的一个半月前得以确认地点，

非人的能力所能及，乃因神伟大的带领与恩慈。

借着神的激励及长执的支持并信徒的代祷，大约有50位从北区各

教会来的信徒为圣会的举办成功努力互相协调。上一次相同规模

的布道会是在十年前举办的。因此大多数的工人都是新手，并对

“When Morning Comes”In hopelessness and despair, Christ appears….

John 21:1-14 records the apostles of the Lord Jesus going out to fish. They had hoped to catch some fish. Despite some of them being fishermen by profession and having vast experience, they caught nothing for the whole night. But when night passed and morning came, Jesus stood by the shore and told them what to do. They heeded the voice of the Lord, and as a result, they caught an abundance of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three in total.

The issues, realities and facts of life are toil, labor, sufferings, insecurity, helplessness, disappointment and despair. Even man’s vast know-how, skills, abilities and experiences can at times prove futile. We witness man’s inability, incapability, limitations and failures. Man’s true help and hope lie in “When Morning Comes”,

when Christ Jesus the Bright and Morning Star visits us (Rev. 22:16).Man’s true reliance, joy, hope, success and fulfillment come through Jesus Christ. Psalm 30:5 tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. His favor is for life. God’s mercy and loving-kindness is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

As such, we must trust in Jesus, rely on Him, place our hope in Him and we shall experience spiritual blessings. This is the greatness and comfort of “When Morning Comes.” Let us therefore come and turn to this True Light and experience “When Morning Comes.”

约二十一1-14 记载了主耶稣的使徒出去打鱼。他们希望可以打

到一些鱼。尽管他们当中有些是专业的渔夫，也对打鱼很有经

验，但是整夜都没打着什么。当夜晚过去，天将亮的时候，耶

稣站在岸上指示他们该怎么做。他们遵从了主耶稣的声音，结

果他们的网满了大鱼，共一百五十三条。

生命论点，现实与事实的生活是辛苦、劳碌、苦难、缺乏安全

感、无助、失望与绝望。就连人的本领、技术、能力与经验有

时候也是无效用的。我们都见证了人的无能、局限及失败。人

真正的帮助与希望在于“天将亮的时候”，当明亮的晨星，基

督耶稣出现时（启二十二16）。

人真正的依靠、喜乐、盼望、成功与满足是来自基督耶稣。诗

三十5告诉我们一宿虽然有哭泣，早晨便必欢呼。神的怜悯及诸

般的慈爱每早晨都是新的（哀三22-23）。

因此，我们应当信靠耶稣，将我们的希望摆放在耶稣那里，我

们必体验属灵的祝福。这是“天将亮的时候”给于我们极大的

安慰。让我们一同来，转向这真光，并且体验“天将亮的时

候”。

AprilPr Wu Qing Zhen from Taiwan will be assisting the divine work, which includes pastoral, evangelical and training in Northern Region in the month of April.

1. Youth Leadership Systematic Training (Date: 19 Apr; Venue: Northern & Perak Region-Bercham Church; Central and Southern Region – Gombak Church)

This training program which is planned by the Youth Dept aims to provide training to the young leaders to enable them to carry out the various youth programs more effectively in their local churches. Leaders from all regions can present new ideas and proposal concerning the problems which are encountered for mutual reference.

MayPr Ling En Ci will be assisting the divine work in Perak Region, which includes pastoral, evangelical and training in May.

1. GA and Local Churches Full Time Divine Workers & Administrative Staff Spiritual Nurture (Date: 1-3 May; Venue: Perak Region) As it is written in the Scriptures, those who labour for the Lord shall not labour in vain. Out of love for God and for the church, our church full time workers diligently labour for Him. It is hope that through this spiritual nurture seminar, they are given the opportunity to learn and grow in the words of God and to understand His will and a loyal servant of God. (2 Tim 2:15)

2. Music Ministry and Training (Perak Region; Date: ; Venue: ) As it is written in the book of Colossians, admonish one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Music ministry is a beautiful service, we look forward to the participation of brethrens who are currently serving or those who wish to serve in this divine work.

3. Religious Education Teachers’ Seminar & Marriage Seminar Speaker: Eld Pan Chen Ren Kedah RE Teachers – Date: 29 May; Venue: Sg Petani Church Penang RE Teachers – Date: 31 May; Venue: Penang Church

4. National Religious Education Teachers Basic Training’ Course (Date: 5-7 June; Venue: Klang Church) Moses instructed the Israelites that they must read the laws of God to their children, that they may learn, observe it and fear the Lord Jehovah. The importance of religious education has spoken for itself. As teachers who play the role of a shepherd, we need to constantly spiritual nurture in order to guide our little sheep to walk on the correct pathway and that they shall not depart until they grow old.

JunePr Ho Hsu Li will be assisting the divine work in Central Region, which includes pastoral, evangelical and training in June.

1. National Intermediate Youth Spiritual Meeting (Date: 30 May – 3 June; Venue: Olive Garden Training Centre) The youthful teenage days shall not be wasted. In conjunction with the school holidays, isn’t it a beautiful thing to come together with your brethren to spiritual nurture, sing praises, pray and read the Bible. Calling out to all teenagers who aged between 16-18 years old!

2. National Board of Ministers’ Meeting (Date: 7 June; Venue: Petaling Jaya Church) Do remember this meeting in our daily prayers. May the decisions and strategies made by the ministers’ enable the church to grow, be edified and pleasing to God.

3. Kem Alkitab Kanak-kanak Orang Asli (Date: 6-10 June; Venue: Gombak Church) A group of naive and simple children, friends with the hills and rivers, running barefooted across the land and plucking fruits in the wild, a most common thing to do has now receive the grace of God, stepping into the temple of God. They have begun to learn about the True Church, the Bible, Jesus, salvation and sing praises to God. They are still babes on this path of faith; hence, the objective of this cultivation camp is to cultivate them in this life of faith and guide their footsteps in becoming a Christian.

4. National Tertiary Camp (Date; 27-28 June; Venue: Olive Garden Training Centre) Good news to the tertiary students! This 2 days life camp is coming! The life of a tertiary student is full of challenges and yet it leads people to love the world more and draw further away from God. The contents and programs of the camp shall be focused and discussed on the current issues that tertiary students are facing. We welcome registration from students in Form 6, colleges and universities.

4.全国宗教教员基础培训班 (日期：5-7/6；地点：巴生教会） 摩西吩咐以色列百姓，要将律法念给孩子听，好使他们学习，谨守遵行 ，敬畏耶和华。由此，宗教教育的重要性已不言而喻，身为教员的更扮 演着牧者的角色，因此常常进修，有助于带领小羊们走当行的道，就是 到老也不偏离。

六月份何绪理传道于六月前来中区协助圣工，包括牧养，宣道及训练。

1.全国中级班学生灵恩会 (日期：30/5-3/6；地点：橄榄园训练中心)　　 青少年的岁月不应留白，趁着假日与同灵一起灵修，唱诗祷告学圣经， 确是一大美事。吁请所有16-18岁青少年参加。

2.全国长执会议（日期：7/6；地点：八打灵教会） 愿为此项会议代祷，让长执们所作的决策能够发展及造就教会， 蒙神喜悦。

3.原住民孩子培育营 （日期：6-10/6；地点：鹅麦教会） 一群大地上纯朴的小孩，与山河为伴，赤足大地、摘果子乃常事，如今 蒙了神的恩，踏入神的殿，开始学习认识真教会，圣经、耶稣、救恩， 学习歌颂神。在信仰路上，他们是婴孩，此培育营的目的是在信仰并生 活上栽培他们，陪他们学步，学习作基督徒。

4.全国大专生生活营 （日期：27-28/6；地点：橄榄园训练中心） 给大专生的好消息！为期两天的生活营即将来到。大专生活充满挑战， 也容易使人爱世界渐行远离神。生活营内容将会针对时下学生面对的课 题进行教导，讨论，欢迎中六，学院及大学生报名。

五月份林恩赐传道于五月前来霹雳区协助圣工，包括牧养，

宣道及训练。

1.总会及地方教会全职工人及 办事员灵修 （日期：1-3/5；地点：霹雳区） 经云：做主工，不落空。教会全职工人本着爱神 爱教会的心为主工作，借此灵修会， 他们有机会在热心舆见识上学习长进， 明白神旨意，作无愧的工人。（
