Bin yıllık bir tarihi geçmişi olan ve ticaret yolları üzerinde ku-rulmuş olan Zile kenti, ticari ve üretim geleneklerinden yola çıkarak, bugün, uluslararası pazarlara açılmak için güç birliği etmiş firmalarıyla, uluslararası rekabet için kümelenme ça-lışması başlatmıştır. Bu kümelenme çalışması, Zile Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası koordinatörlüğünde ve Ekonomi Bakanlığı’nın UR-GE projesi kapsamında Zile’de gıda ve gıda makineleri üre-ten yenilikçi firmaların bir araya gelmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Uluslararası piyasalara girmek ve rekabet gücünün artırılması fikriyle oluşturulan Zile Gıda ve Gıda Makineleri Kümelenme-sinde; gıda sektöründe faaliyet gösteren üretici firmaların yanı sıra sektöre katma değer üreten yan kuruluşlarda katılmıştır. 2015 yılının ikinci çeyreğinde Gıda ve Gıda Makinaları üretimin-de oluşan bu kümelenme 2016 yılı itibariyle hayata geçmiştir. Gıda ve Gıda Makineleri Kümelenmesi başlığıyla ya da İngilizce adıyla Zile Food and Food Industry Cluster, adıyla hayata geçen kümelenme modeli bugün uluslararası pazarlarda ürünlerinin kalitesi ve fiyat avantajlarıyla rekabet ediyor.

The city of Zile having a thousand-years history and founded on the trade routes, today, based on its commercial and pro-duction traditions, has initiated a clustering operation for in-ternational competitiveness with its firms joined forces to get into the international markets. This clustering operation has been formed with the association of innovative firms in Zile producing food and food machinery, under the coordination of Zile Chamber of Industry and Commerce and within the scope of UR-GE Project of Ministry of Economy. Zile Food and Food Industry Cluster created with the idea of getting into internati-onal markets and increasing the competitive capacity not only includes the productive firms active in the food sector but al-so the subsidiaries adding value to the sector. This Food and Food Industry cluster formed in the second quarter of 2015 has been put into effect as of 2016. Today, this cluster model initiated under the name of Zile Food and Food Industry Clus-ter has been competing in the international markets with the quality of its products and price advantages.

Zile Gıda ve Gıda Makineleri kümelenme modelinin içinde yer alan firmaların önemli bir kısmı bölge insanının kuşaktan kuşa-ğa taşıdığı firmalardır. Bu firmaların özelliği gıda sektöründe bir alanda üretim yapan firmalar olmalarından ziyade sektörün her noktasında olan ve farklı ihtiyaçlara göre ürün ve hizmet üreti-mi yapan firmalardır.
