The college is managed by G. Pulla Reddy Charities trust, Hyderabad .The trust was instituted by late Sri G.Pulla Reddy Garu in 1975 with themotto of rendering service to the society. The trust is presently managedby Sri.G.Raghava Reddy, International President Vishwa Hindu Parishath(VHP)

The trust has established many educational institutions, hospitals,orphanages, respite homes and other social welfare organizations invarious parts of Andhra Pradesh State.

G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS) , G.PullaReddy College of Pharmacy at Hyderabad, G.Pulla Reddy Dental College atKurnool are some of the other professional institutions being managed bythis trust.

Dr.P.Jayarami Reddy has been the Head of TheInstitution since 1991 (for more than two decades).

He obtained his M.E (Gold Medalist) in 1970 and Ph.D (Water Resources) in 1979 from Regional EngineeringCollege ( now NIT ), Warangal and was working thereas faculty in Civil Engineering before joining GPREC.

He is the author of three text books that areprescribed by many universities.

Recipient of Best Teacher Award from Govt. of A.P.

He served as member - board of studies (Civil Engg.)forJ.N.T.University, Hyderabad, S.V.University,Tirupathi and Dean, Faculty of Engineering,S.K.University, Anantapur.
