1 Introduction AntennasareacriticalpartofanyGPSreceiverdesignandtheirimportancecannotbestatedhighlyenough.
Eventhebestreceivercannotbringbackwhathasbeenlostduetoapoorantenna,in-bandjamming,orabadRF-boarddesign.GPSsignalsareextremelyweakandpresentuniquedemandsontheantenna.ThechoiceandimplementationoftheantennacanultimatelyplayasignificantroleinGPSperformance.
