"ll students admitted to the El Centro "llied )ealth and 6ursing programs must complete the following
vaccination/screening tests and provide re%uired documentation ,immuni8ation records physician'
validated history or serologic confirmation;
Tuberculosis Screening< "n intradermal **4 ,+antou& s$inJ test is re%uired for all applicants.

hea/th occ2pations program)
When accepted to a health occupations program a student must be current on the screening and repeat
the **4 every twelve ,12 months for the duration of his/her enrollment in the program.If the **4 indicates a positive reaction documentation must indicate the induration of the test site andthe applicant must also obtain a chest &'ray verifying the absence of active disease.
The chest 31ray m2st .e c2rrent within one 6%8 year o0 program entry) The chest &'ray will then bevalid for two ,2 years while the student is enrolled in the program. Individuals who have received the
5C( in0ection or who have a history of tuberculosis or a positive **4 result should obtain a chest &'ray
rather than the **4.

measles immuni8ation re%uirements. The two doses must be received at least one month apart.
2. M2mpsH Dne ,1 dose of mumps vaccine is re%uired either in a separate in0ection or in combination
with measles and rubella ,++-J. Individuals who were born prior to B1/B1/@? are e&empt from themumps immuni8ation re%uirement.

with measles and mumps ,++-J. There is no e3emption from the rubella immuni8ation re%uirementfor individuals who were born prior to B1/B1/@?.
