    DETAILS OF HATHRAS STATION

    Hathras Jn. is a 'B' class station interlocked with Colour light signaling,

    having 2 cabins for train working along with automatic block working

    with adjoining stations Pora on East (Kanpur side), Sasni on West (Delhi)

    CRS sanction received on 20.03.13

    S&T works progress

    Indoor works All the Indoor work completed, All 8 Microlocks powered Up,

    Simulation wiring completed

    Testing

    Logic testing completed by IRPMU.

    2nd round of FAT testing by IRPMU completed.

    Outdoor work90% work completed.

    P. Way works - Total 28 new Points to be inserted in the work (15 in Before Pre NI,

    12 in Pre NI and 1 in Post NI). Total 22 points to be dismantled in the work (10in

    Before Pre NI, 12 in Pre NI)

    .OHE & Elect. Works Total 140 masts (including portals) to be erected.

    Out of these, 125 masts erected. Old masts 10 no to be dismantled which shall becarried out in Pre-NI/NI period.

    ADVANTAGES OF SSI

    The major advantages of commissioning of HRS SSI can be divided in the

    following parts:-

    Safety Benefits

    Manpower saving

    Operational Benefits

    Maintenance Benefits

    1. Safety Benefits

    Removal of worn out lever frames and mechanical rodding.

    After commissioning of SSI, existing East & West Cabins and SM

    Slide Frame will be removed completely and all the operations shall bedone from the LCPs provided in the ASM room of HRS station.

    After SSI complete yard and all the running will be DC track circuited

    from Home to Home. Presently Hathras Qila side branch line, line no 5

    and 6 are non- track circuited.

    2. Manpower saving

    Complete elimination of operation from the East and West cabins will

    result in saving of manpower involved in operation at these cabins

    round the clock.

    Maintenance Benefits

    After commissioning of SSI at HRS, all departments will bebenefitted from maintenance point of view.

    1. S&T Department

    Improvement in cable maintenance after laying of New cables in theentire yard.

    Improvement in maintenance of points after provision of point

    machines in place of old & worn out rod operated mechanical points.

    Replacement of steel/wooden turnouts by PRC turnouts having better

    reliability of points.

    Maintenance PC/Data logger for the entire system facilitating

    predictive maintenance & monitoring.

    Provision of Stabilised power supply in 1+1 configuration through IPS,

    having 100% standby.Provision of glued joints for track circuiting.

    2. Engg DepartmentReplacement of steel/wooden turnouts by PRC turnouts having betterreliability.

    3. TRD Department

    Change in sub section plan of OHE of the yard having more flexibility

    from operation and maintenance point of view.
