Dramatic arts give unlimited personal freedom. An artist feels the need to prevent anyarbitrariness and rejects any coincidence.

An artistic act develops its own legitimacy, its own idea. Acting is a complex unity of the role’s and actor’s personality.

Actors play images of an imaginary world that resembles reality, but it is not reality.

An artist should articulate the world around him and offer new creative worlds.

Propose your ideas through your attitudes, your thoughts, and express your problems and your vision of the world in theatre.

Offer a true and open feeling of creativity.

Sedmi Juventafest nastavlja svoju misiju da povezuje mlade kako bi međusobnopodijelili vlastita iskustva i vizije pozorišta. Ovogodišnja selekcija će ponuditi pub-lici šest stilski i žanrovski raznolikih predstava koje kritički preispituju društvo i ulogu pojedinca u njemu.

Omladinsko pozorište Dadov iz Beograda dolazi sa svo-jim inovativnim i svježim čitanjem Shakespearovog klasi-ka Romeo i Julija kao mjuzikla u kojem je akcenat radnje u potpunosti na mladim akterima tragedije. Nove gen-eracije preuzele su u nasljeđe mržnju svojih predaka, međutim ovi mladi glumci nam hrabro poručuju da oni imaju snage prekinuti taj začarani krug. Predstava Ifigeni-ja Centra za kulturu Zavidovići, također se obračunava sa starijom generacijom koja žrtvuje mlade za rad vlastitih interesa. Oni nam angažirano poručuju kako su svjesni da ih politički sistem tretira kao objekte, međutim spremni su da postanu protagonisti svoje budućnosti. Još jedna bosanskohercegovačka predstava dolazi nam iz Sarajeva, a riječ je o Things I Want to Say but Never Will Druge gim-nazije u kojoj mladi glumci osvajaju scenu kako bi iskreno progovorili o ličnim i generacijskim problemima. Pred-stava Šine Dramskog studija Ćoše iz Obrenovca ukazuje

nam na to koliko smo malo kao društvo napredovali. Suočavajući se sa svime o čemu bi generacije njihovih roditelja najradije šutjele, oni im direktno u lice poručuju gdje im je mjesto. Zagrebačka pred-stava Je li slučaj slučajan? Dramskog studija Tirena vrlo duhovito i precizno secira apsurdne situacije u društvu, potvrđujući nam da mladi nisu pasivni promatrači. Plesna predstava 13 Dramskog studija Istarskog narodnog kazališta iz Pule, podsjeća nas na to da je svako od nas pojedinačno nezamjenjiva karika unutar jedne cjeline. Ovo je važan podsjetnik s obzirom da se često kao pojedinci skrivamo iza kolektiva i tako odričemo vlastite odgovornosti.

Svojom angažiranošću, kreativnošću i talentiranom igrom na sceni, ovi mladi u potpunosti ispunjavaju misiju pozorišta i Juventafesta. Prostor scene za njih je prostor slobode odakle nam glasno poručuju u kakvom svijetu žele živjeti. Važno je da ih čujemo.

The Seventh Juventafest continues its mission to connect young people so they can share their own experiences and theatre visions. This year’s selection will offer the audience six stylistically different plays of different genres which critically re-examine the society and the role of the individual in it.

Youth Theatre Dadov from Belgrade comes with its innovative and fresh interpretation of Shake-speare’s classic Romeo and Juliet as a musical, in which the action’s attention is entirely on young actors of the tragedy. The new generations inherited the hatred of their ancestors, but these young ac-tors are bravely telling us that they have the power to stop that enchanted circle. The play Iphigenia by the Center for Culture Zavidovići also deals with the older generation that sacrificed young people for their personal interests. They tell us that they are aware that the political system treats them as objects, but are ready to become protagonists of their future. Things I Want to Say but Never Will is another play from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo by Second Gymnasium, where young actors take over the stage to speak honestly about personal and generational problems. The play Rails by Drama Studio ĆOŠE from Obrenovac tells us how little we have progressed as a society. Facing with everything that the generation of their parents would most likely be silent about, they tell them straight to their face where they belong. The play from Zagreb Is the Case Accidental? by Drama Studio Tirena in a very

funny and precise way analyzes the absurdities in the society, confirming that young people are not passive observers. The dancing play 13 by Drama Studio - Istrian National Theatre from Pula reminds us that each of us is an individually irreplaceable link within one whole. This is an important reminder giv-en that we are often hiding behind the collective as individuals and giving up our own responsibility.

With their engagement, creativity and talented acting on stage, these young people fulfill the mission of theatre and Juventafest. The stage space for them is a space of freedom from where they loudly tell us what world they want to live in. It is important that we hear them.

MAJA IZETBEGOVIĆ, glumica

Rođena je 1985. g. u Sarajevu, Bosna i Hercegovina. Diplo-mirala je na Odsjeku za glumu Akademije scenskih umjet-nosti u Sarajevu. Po završetku Akademije 2008. g. postaje članica ansambla East West theatre company s kojim je učestvovala na prestižnim svjetskim festivalima poput Edinburškog. 2010. g. se priključuje ansamblu Kamernog teatra 55 u Sarajevu. Do sada je ostvarila preko 50 teatar-skih i filmskih uloga (Nora, Henrik Ibzen, Antigona, Sofok-le, Gruša, Bertold Breht, Dora, Tadeuš Slobođanek,Maša, A. P. Čehov, Jelena, Maksim Gorki...). Sarađivala je i ostvarila uloge u pozorištima u regiji Zagrebačko kazalište mladih Zagreb, Ulysses pozorište Brijuni, Bitef teatar Beograd te Jugoslovensko dramsko pozorište gdje je 2011. dobila nagradu glumice sezone. Dobitnica je međunarodnih teatarskih i filmskih priznanja.

MAJA IZETBEGOVIĆ, actress

Born in 1985 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts, Acting Department, in Sarajevo. Upon graduation in 2008, she became a member of the East West theatre company ensemble, with which she participated in prestigious world festivals such as Edinburgh. In 2010, she joined the Chamber Theatre 55 ensemble in Sarajevo. She appeared in over 50 theatre and film roles so far(Nora, Henrik Ibsen, Antigone, Sophocles, Grusha, Bertolt Brecht, Dora, Tadeusz Slobođanek, Masha, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, Jelena, Maksim Gorki ...). She also performed in theatres in the region, the Zagreb Youth Theatre, Ulysses Theatre Brijuni, Bitef Theatre Belgrade and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre where she received an award for the actress of the season in 2011. She is a winner of international theatre and film awards.

MILENA MINJA BOGAVAC, dramaturginja i dramska pedagoginja

Rođena je 1982. g. u Beogradu, Srbija. Diplomirala je dramaturgiju na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Be-ogradu, a komadi su joj izvođeni, nagrađivani, uvršteni u antologije, prevedeni na dvadeset jezika i predstav-ljeni na relevantnim festivalima širom svijeta. Dobitnica je Sterijine nagrade, za komad Jami distrikt, nagrade Bo-rislav Mihailović Mihiz za dramsko stvaralaštvo i nekoliko drugih nagrada za pozorište, dramu, zastupanje ljudskih i ženskih prava, te za podsticanje aktivizma mladih. Sa red-iteljem Vojkanom Arsićem, razvila je metod kolektivnog autorstva nazvan Pozorište kao omladinski rad, o kome su predavali na brojnim simpozijumima i konferencijama. Sa Stevanom Filipovićem, pisala je scenario za višestruko na-građivani film Pored mene, koji je dobio i nagradu mlade publike na Sarajevo film festivalu. Predavala je dramatur-giju i scenario u Umetničkoj srednjoj školi Artimedia, a od

jula 2018. g. je direktorica Šabačkog pozorišta u Šapcu, Srbija.

MILENA MINJA BOGAVAC, dramatist and drama pedagogue

Born in 1982 in Belgrade, Serbia. She graduated in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and her pieces were performed, rewarded, included in anthology, translated into twenty languages and presented at relevant festivals all over the world. She is a winner of Sterija’s Award for the piece Jami district, Borislav Mihailović Mihiz award for drama creativity and several other awards for theatre, drama, representation of human and women’s rights and for the promotion of youth activism. With the director Vojkan Arsić, she developed a method of collective authorship called Theatre as youth work, which they lectured at numerous symposiums and conferences. With Stevan Filipović, she wrote a screenplay for the award-winning film Next to me, which also received the young audience award at Sarajevo Film Festival. She lectured dramaturgy and screenwriting at Artimedia Arts High school and since July 2018 she is the director of Šabac Theatre in Šabac, Serbia.

OLIVER JOVIĆ, producent i dramski pedagog

Rođen je 1985. g. u Travniku, Bosna i Hercegovina. Diplo-mirao na odsjeku za produkciju na Akademiji dramskih umjetnosti u Tuzli, u klasi docenta Edina Lonića. Tokom studija radio je u profesionalnim umjetničkim produkci-jama. Posebno se izdvaja angažman u nezavisnoj teatar-skoj kompaniji East West Centar Sarajevo. Godinu dana bio producent Bosanskog narodnog pozorišta Zenica kao prvi visokoobrazovani producent u javnom bh. po-zorištu. Nakon pripravničkog staža odlučuje se na posao freelance producenta i kustosa. U saradnji sa Centrom za kulturu Travnik pokreće dramski program Teatarska radionica koji se bavi socijalizacijom mladih ljudi i djece kroz pozorište. Sarađuje na velikom regionalnom projek-tu Generator- platforma za razvoj savremenog teatra za djecu. Kao dio programskog tima MESS festivala aktivno radi na razvoju programa za djecu i mlade Mali MESS.

Autor je dokumentarne predstave Skrivene sjene koja se na direktan način bavi problemom nasilja nad ženama i djecom u savremenom bh. društvu.

OLIVER JOVIĆ, producer and drama pedagogue

Born in 1985 in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Department of Production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Tuzla, in the class of docent Edin Lonić. During his studies he worked in professional art productions. Particularly outstanding is the engagement in the independent theatre company East West Center Sarajevo. For a year he was a producer at the Bosnian National Theatre Ze-nica as the first highly educated producer in the public theatre of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After grad-uation he decided to become a freelance producer and curator. In cooperation with the Center for Culture Travnik he started a drama program Teatre Workshop, dealing with the socialization of young people and children through theatre. He works on a major regional project Generator- platform for the development of a contemporary theatre for children. As part of the MESS festival programme team, he actively works on developing a program for children and young people Mini MESS. He is the author of the documentary play The Hidden Shadows, which directly deals with the problem of violence against women and children in the modern society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zasnovan na čuvenoj Šekspirovoj tragediji, mjuzikl Romeo i Julija je razigran, ali i napet i mračan po-gled na univerzalnu priču ljubavnika iz zavađenih porodica. Može li Romeova i Julijina ljubav da op-stane ako su daleko od svojih roditelja i Verone? Mjuzikl nas vodi na idilični proplanak, gdje je veron-ski Knez pozvao samo mlade Kapuletijeve i Montegijeve kako bi oni napokon okončali viševjekovne krvave obračune svojih predaka. Dok je Romeo zanesen Julijom i njihovim igrama u mraku, slijep za opasnosti, Julija je opasnosti itekako svjesna, ali i odlučna da ih prevaziđe upravo ljubavlju. Vršnjaci iz njihovih porodica, ipak, imaju na umu nešto drugo – konačnu pobjedu svoje porodice u sukobima kojima se kraj ne nazire. Pitanje je imaju li i oni žar mržnje jednako kao svoji preci i hoće li njihove kavge dovesti do poznatog sudbinskog ishoda.

Based on the famous Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet, a lively musical, but also a tense and dark view of the universal story of lovers from feuding families. Can Romeo and Juliet’s love survive if they are far from their parents and Verona? The musical takes us to an idyllic glade, where the Prince of Verona invited only the young Capulets and Montagues to finally end the centuries of bloodshed of their ancestors. While Romeo is enthralled with Juliet and their games in the dark and blind to dangers, Juliet is well aware of the dangers, but decides to overcome them with love. However, most of their families have something else in mind - the final victory of their family in conflicts that don’t seem to end. The question is whether they have the same hatred as their ancestors and whether their conflicts will lead to a known fateful outcome.

Turbulentno vrijeme u kome živimo, stvara i turbulentne odnose, turbulentne porodice i natrpano je instant rješenjima. Kada Agamemnon danas mora žrtvovati svoje dijete za svoj lični uspjeh, on nema više velike, ljudske dvojbe, jer je politika i uspjeh jedino do čega mu je danas stalo. Porodični i bračni problemi, svakako su okvir unutar kojeg se sve dešava. Mladi ljudi danas stavljeni su u poziciju objeka-ta političkih sistema, a sve manje su subjekti i oni koji mogu aktivno odlučivati o sebi, svojoj sudbini.

A turbulent time full of instant solutions in which we live in, also creates turbulent relationships and turbulent families. When Agamemnon has to sacrifice his child for his own personal success, he has no more big, human doubt, because politics and success are the only things he cares about today. Family and marriage problems are certainly a framework within which everything is happening. Nowadays, young people are placed in the position of objects of political systems and are less and less subjects and the ones who can actively decide for themselves, their fate.

Things I Want to Say But Never Will je projekat nastao inspirisan istoimenom predstavom američkog profesora i pisca Alana Haehnel. Predstava je sačinjena isključivo iz ispovijesti preuzetih iz ankete koja je sprovedena u Drugoj gimnaziji Sarajevo. Učenici su odgovarali na sljedeća tri pitanja: Šta bi htjeli reći a nikada niste? Kome biste to rekli? Zašto to nikada niste rekli?

Things I Want to Say But Never Will is a project inspired by the play of the same name of an American professor and writer Alan Haehnel. The play is made exclusively from the confessions taken from the survey conducted in the Second Gymnasium Sarajevo. The students answered the following three questions: What would you like to say but never did? To whom would you say that? Why didn’t you ever say that?

Ovo je generacijski krik i današnjih srednjoškolaca, iako su protagonisti generacije njihovih roditelja. Songovi su dio pjesničkog opusa Milene Marković kojima potenciramo aktuelnost komada.

The play is about a generation that had been growing up in the nineties and had been maturing for all the wars that would wait for them. Four friends and their destinies are in the center of the event. This is a generational cry of today’s high school students, though the protagonists are the generation of their parents.The songs are part of the opus by Milena Marković, through which we emphasize the actuality of the piece.

Je li slučajno da je Slučaj Daniila Harmsa opet aktuelan? Vremena nisu jednostavna, današnje društvo svojom neosjetljivošću za jedinku počinje podsjećati na krvava vremena. Rastu generacije koje komu-niciraju virtualno i koje životne nesreće sve manje diraju. Apsurdnosti pravnog sistema naših zemalja ponekad zvuče kao prepisane Harmsove priče. Zapitali smo se ako ih postavimo na scenu hoće li se raspoznati stvarnost od fikcije?

Is it accidental that the Case of Daniil Harms is current again? Times are not easy, today’s society begins to remind us of the bloody times with its insensitivity to an individual. Generations that communicate virtually are growing up and becoming less sensitive towards misfortunes of life. The absurdities of our country’s legal system sometimes sounds like a rewritten Harms’ stories.We wondered, if we set them on a stage, would they discern reality from fiction?

13 je plesna predstava inspirirana filmom Okeanovih 11. Dinamičnim i ritmiziranim oblikom, jednos-tavnim scenskim rješenjima, kretnjama i radnjama prolazi kroz radnju filma na apstraktan način. Kao glavni oblik komunikacije odabrana je igra hodanja. Hladno, pravougaono, oštro kretanje koristi se kao simbol organiziranosti i preciznosti te jednostavno čini kompliciranim. Svaki je izvođač dio cjeline, karika bez koje se ne može, kao i svaki pokret koji ima svoj tačan broj i mjesto. Na taj način izvođači se cijelo vrijeme igraju kompozicijom tijela u prostoru i prostor čine bogatim i dinamičnim.

13 is a dancing play inspired by the movie Ocean’s Eleven. It follows the movie’s plot in an abstract way, through dynamic and rhythmic form, simple stage solutions, movements and actions. Game of walking was chosen as the main form of communication. Cold, rectangular, sharp movement is used as a symbol of organization and precision, so that simple becomes complicated. Every artist is an indis-pensable link and part of a whole, as well as every movement that has an exact number and place. In this way, the performers play with the body composition all the time in the space, making the space richer and more dynamic.

SLAĐANA ZRNIĆ, glumica i dramska pedagoginja

Rođena je 1974. u Banja Luci, Bosna i Hercegovina. Akademiju Modernistic Banja Luka, odsjek gluma, u kla-si profesora Nenada Bojića, završila je 2003. g. Nakon završenog studija u Banjoj Luci upisuje specijalističke Inter-disciplinarne studije na Univerzitetu Umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi prof. Vere Milanković i i prof. Marine Marković, odsjek Američki mjuzikl.

Osnivačica je Amaterske pozorišne trupe Milenijum, Sr-bac, Bosna i Hercegovina 2006. g. gdje radi kao voditeljica radionice glume i umjetnička direktorica. Režirala je više od deset predstava za koje je dobila pet nagrada za reži-ju te dvije nagrade za inventivnost i izuzetan doprinos u radu sa mladim ljudima kao i nagrade za scenski pokret i govor u radu sa mladim ljudima i djecom. U saradnji sa Gradskim pozorištem Jazavac Banja Luka osnovala je glumački Studio Jazavac 2012. g. Trenutno radi sa sed-mom generacijom.

Zaposlena je kao glumica u Narodnom pozorištu Republike Srpske Banja Luka, Bosna i Hercegovina od 2004. godine. Radi i u Dječijem pozorištu Republike Srpske, Banja Luka, Bosna i Hercegovina, Gradskom pozorištu Jazavac, Banja Luka, Bosna i Hercevoina i Ateljeu 212, Beograd, Srbija, također ostvarila je saradnju sa Narodnim pozorištem u Tuzli, Bosna i Hercegovina i Budva Grad Teatrom, Crna Gora.

Nagrađivana je i kao glumica Bosne i Hrecegovine, Srbije i Makedonije.

SLAĐANA ZRNIĆ, actress and drama pedagogue

Born in 1974 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2003 she graduated from the Academy of Arts Banja Luka, acting department, in the class of Professor Nenad Bojić. After completing her studies in Banja Luka, she entered specialized Interdisciplinary studies of the University of Arts in Belgrade in the class of professor Vera Milanković and professor Marina Marković, Department of American musical.

She is the founder of the Amateur Theatre Troupe Millennium, Srbac, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2006, where she worked as the leader of the acting workshops and art director. She directed more than ten plays for which she received five awards for directing and two awards for inventiveness and out-standing contribution to the work with young people as well as awards for movement and speech on stage through work with young people and children. In cooperation with the City Theatre Jazavac Banja Luka, she founded the acting Studio Jazavac in 2012. She is currently working with the seventh generation.

She has been working as an actress since 2004 at the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also works at the Childrens Theatre of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the City Theatre Jazavac, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Atelier 212, Belgrade, Serbia. She also worked with the National Theatre in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzego-vina and Grad Theatre City Budva, Montenegro.

She was also awarded as an actress in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia.

RADIONICA TIJELO ISPOD MASKE

Maska predstavlja apsolutnu barijeru, i time što je nosi, glumac izjavljuje da se u potpunsti predao ulozi koju igra.

Pokušaćemo zajedno sa učesnicima radionice, otkriti pravi značaj maske i njen uticaj na publiku. Takođe, savladati zanat nošenja i djelovanja maske. Maska nije samo napravljena kreacija od gipsa i kartona već lice unurašnjeg čovjekovog bića i ne odvaja se od tijela što vlastitog tako i glumčevog. Bavićemo se pitanjima pokreta ispod maske, gesta koji je nadopunjuje i najzad otkriti čudotvornu moć maske.

BODY UNDER A MASK WORKSHOP

A mask represents an absolute barrier, and by wearing it, actor declares that he completely surrenders to the role he plays.

We will try together with the workshop participants, to discover the true significance of a mask and its impact on the audience. Also, master the craft of wearing a mask and the effects. A mask is not just a cardboard and gypsum creation, but a face of an inner human being and does not separate itself from the own and actors body. We will deal with the questions of movement under a mask, the gesture that complements it and finally discover the miraculous power of masks.

AMILA TERZIMEHIĆ, glumica

Rođena1988. g. u Sarajevu, Bosna i Hercegovina, gdje je završila osnovnu i srednju školu. U djetinjstvu se bavila rit-mičkom gimnastikom i baletom u klubu Bosna. Trinaest godina je bila državna prvakinja u svakoj konkurenciji, a 2004. godine i olimpijska kandidatkinja za Atenu. 1998. g. izabrana je za najperspektivniju sportistkinju u BiH, a 2005. g. godine nagrađena je Specijalnim priznanjem za razvoj sporta u našoj državi. Osim ritmičke gimnastike i baleta, trenirala je i jazz balet, hip-hop, latino plesove, te pohađala različite radionice savremenog plesa.

Iako se veći dio života bavila plesom, po završetku gimna-zije upisuje Poetski teatar mladih Juventa koji vodi cijen-jena glumica Jasna Diklić. Potom upisuje Akademiju scen-skih umjetnosti u Sarajevu, Bosna i Hrcegovina koju 2011. g. završava u klasi prof. Ermina Brave i doc. Džane Pinjo kao studentica generacije. U novembru 2015. na festivalu Susret pozorišta u Brčkom, dobila je nagradu za najbolju

mladu glumicu za lik Ljubice koju igra u predstavi Mali mi je ovaj grob u režiji Dine Mustafića. Nagrada za najbolju glumicu na Fist Festivalu u Beogradu za ulogu u predstavi Elektra, kao i osvojeno drugo mjesto na Its festivalu u Amsterdamu za plesnu predstavu Odette&Odile. Kao glumica angažovana u projektima Narodnog pozorišta, SARTR-a, Pozorišta mladih i Kamernog teatra. Trenutno radi kao asistentica na predmetu Ples na Akademiji scenskih umjetnosti u Sarajevu.

AMILA TERZIMEHIĆ, actress

Born in Sarajevo, where she completed primary and high school. In her childhood, she was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics and ballet club Bosna. For thirteen years she was the World Champion in each competition, and in 2004 she was an Olympic candidate for Athens. In 1998 she was chosen as the most promising athlete in BiH, and in 2005 was awarded with the Special recognition for the develop-ment of sports in our country. In addition to rhythmic gymnastics and ballet, she was also engaged in jazz ballet, hip hop, Latin dances, and attended various contemporary dance workshops.

Although she was engaged in dance most of her life, after completing gymnasium she joined Poetic youth theatre Juventa, led by actress Jasna Diklić. After that, she got into the Academy of Performing Arts which she successfully completed in September 2011 in the class of professor Ermin Bravo and docent Džana Pinjo. In November 2015, she won the award for the best young actress at the Brčko Theatre Meeting festival for the character Ljubica, which performed in the play This grave is too small for me directed by Dino Mustafić. She also won an award for the best actress at the Fist Festival in Bel-grade for the characher Elektra, as well as the second place at ITS festival in Amsterdam for the dance play Odette & Odile. As an actress, she is engaged in the projects of National Theatre, SARTR, Youth Theatre and Chamber Theatre. Currently she works as an associate at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo on the Dance subject.

RADIONICA IGROM DO PLESA

Ples je prečica do sreće i dobrog raspoloženja. Plesna radionica će biti zajednički proces “buđenja” tije-la, osvještavanja svojih sposobnosti, te usvajanje elementarnih znanja o pokretu, savremenom plesu, tijelu, prostoru , ritmu i neverbalnoj komunikaciji.

Kroz improvizacije i igru, ćemo istraživati impulse i reflekse tijela, te njegove granice. Zajedno ćemo naučiti kako jednostavnu fizičku radnju, ili gestu pretvoriti u plesni korak ili koreografski odlomak. Gradeći zajednički vedri duh, i timski rad polaznici bi kroz različite vježbe, zadatke i kreativne izazove došli do koreografije- ličnog plesnog zapisa. Cilj radionice je da učenici oslobode svoje tijelo, da povje-ruju da svi mogu plesati i da je svako tijelo dobro došlo i posebno kao nijedno drugo.

FROM PLAYING TO DANCING WORKSHOP

Dance is a shortcut to happiness and good mood. The dance workshop will be a common process of “awakening” the body, raising awareness of its abilities, and adopting elementary knowledge of the movement, contemporary dance, body, space, rhythm and nonverbal communication.

Through improvisation and dancing, we will explore the impulses and reflexes of the body and its boundaries. Together we will learn how to turn a simple physical action or gesture into a dance step or a choreographic piece. By building a common cheerful spirit and teamwork, participants would create choreography – a personal dance record, through various exercises, tasks and creative challenges. The aim of the workshop is to let the students free their body, to believe that everyone can dance and that each body is welcome and special like no other.

TIJANA VIGNJEVIĆ, dirigentica i profesorica

Tijana Vignjević je rođena, odrasla i školovala se u Sara-jevu.

Na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu, u klasi prof.em. Teodo-ra Romanića, je 2001. godine diplomirala dirigovanje, te odmah nakon diplomiranja počela raditi u Srednjoj muz-ičkoj školi Sarajevo kao profesor orkestra. Postdiplomski studij završila je u klasi prof.em. Uroša Lajovica na Univer-zitetu za muziku i scenske umjetnosti u Beču. Dirigentica je Ženskog vokalnog ansambla Corona i Mješovitog hora Seljo, pri AKCUS-u Seljo.

Do sada je surađivala na nekoliko teatarskih i filmskih projekata sa Dubravkom Zrnčić- Kulenović/Alisa u zem-lji čuda (Studio lutkarstva Sarajevo), Selmom Spahić/ Sumnja (Kamerni teatar 55), Grebanje ili Kako se ubila moja baka (Bosansko narodno pozorište u Zenici), Djeca sunca (SARTR), Lenkom Udovički / Kralj Lear (Teatar Ul-ysses), Slavišom Mašićem/ Krupno u totalu, Nerminom

Hamzagićem/ Strah i bijeda Trećeg rajha (SARTR), Tartif (Narodno pozorište Sarajevo), Pobunjenik M.K. TIJANA VIGNJEVIĆ, conductor and professor

Tijana Vignjević was born, grew up and studied in Sarajevo.

She graduated in Conducting from the Sarajevo Music Academy in 2001 in the class of professor emer-itus Teodor Romanić, and right after graduation she started working at the Secondary Music School Sarajevo as an orchestra professor. She completed the postgraduate studies in the class of Professor Uroš Lajovic at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is a conductor of the female vocal ensemble Corona and Mixed Choir of ACCUS Seljo.

TEATARSKA MUZIČKA RADIONICA

Cilj teatarske muzičke radionice je otkriti mogućnosti stvaranja zvuka za učesnike bez ranijeg muzičkog obrazovanja i one koji već imaju (koliko god veliko ili malo) znanje o muzici. Učesnici će učiti koristiti nove i stare muzičke vještine za potrebe teatra.

Radionica treba pomoći u osvještavanju ritma i zvukova koji nas okružuju i mogućnostima repriduk-ovanja tih zvukova uz pomoć našeg tijela, svakodnevnih predmeta ili muzičkih instrumenata.

Nakon istraživanja vlastite kreativnosti i savladavanja osnovnih muzičkih vještina, učesnici trebaju biti u mogućnosti prenijeti emociju ili atmosferu teatarske scene koristeći se samo zvukom.

Kroz radionicu ćemo pokušati odgovoriti na sljedeća pitanja:

Šta je zvuk? Koliko je zvuk važan u svakodnevnom životu? Gdje čujemo ritam oko nas? Kako moje tijelo, moja odjeća i predmeti koje svakodnevno koristim mogu proizvesti zvuk? Mogu/znam li pjevati? Da li je govor pjevanje? Kako intonacija mog govora može promijeniti značenje scene? Kako, gdje i zašto koristiti tišinu u teatarskoj sceni? Šta želim postići u određenoj sceni i kako zvuk može pomoći da se moja poruka prenese publici?

Napomena: učesnici koji se prijave na radionicu, a sviraju neki instrument, neka ga ponesu na radionicu.

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

The goal of the musical theatre workshop is to discover the possibilities of creating sounds for partic-ipants without previous music education and for those who already have some knowledge of music. Participants will learn to use new and old music skills for theatre needs.

The workshop should help in raising the awareness of the rhythm and sounds that surround us and the possibilities to reproduce these sounds with the help of our body, everyday objects or musical instruments.

After exploring their own creativity and acquiring basic musical skills, participants should be able to convey the emotion or atmosphere of the theatre stage using only sound.

Through the workshop, we will try to answer the following questions:

What is a sound? How important is a sound in everyday life? Where do we hear the rhythm around us? How can my body, my clothes, and everyday items produce a sound? Can / Do I know how to sing? Is speech singing? How can the intonation of my speech change the meaning of the stage? How, where and why to use silence on a theatre stage? What do I want to achieve on a stage and how can a sound help me send my message to audience?

Note: Participants who will attend a workshop and play some instrument should take it to the workshop.

JASMINKA BOŽUTA, lutkarka

Rođena u Sarajevu 1980. god. Završila Francuski jezik i kn-jiževnost na Filozofskom fakultetu u Sarajevu. Kao članica Studija lutkarstva Sarajevo od 2000. godine prošla pro-ces edukacije za glumca lutkara kroz tridesetak stručnih seminara i kreativnih radionica, inostranih i domaćih pre-davača. Učestvovala u 16 predstava profesionalne pro-dukcije Studija lutkarstva Sarajevo.

Od 2002. do 2005. kroz edukativni proces za dramskog pedagoga sudjelovala u radu sa djecom u Dječijem dramskom studiju, od 2005. samostalno vodila radionice s djecom. Dobitnica dvije nagrade, za lutkarsku animac-iju i najbolje glumačko ostvarenje za predstavu Patuljak nam priča Studija lutkarstva Sarajevo. Posjeduje certifikat Montessori edukatora. Trenutno zaposlena kao jedna od voditeljica dramskih umjetnosti u Privatnoj osnovnoj školi “Bloom” i igra u predstavama Studija lutkarstva Sarajevo.

JASMINKA BOŽUTA, puppeteer

Born in Sarajevo in 1980. She graduated in French Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philos-ophy in Sarajevo. As a member of Puppetry Studio Sarajevo since 2000, she was educated for a pup-peteer through thirty professional seminars and creative workshops, foreign and domestic lecturers. She has participated in 16 plays of the professional production of the Puppetry Studio Sarajevo.

From 2002 to 2005 she worked through educational process for drama pedagogue with children in Children drama studio and she has been holding workshops independently with children since 2005. She won the two awards, for the puppet animation and best achievement in acting for the play Dwarf tells you a story of Puppetry Studio Sarajevo. She has a Montessori Educator Certificate. Currently em-ployed as one of the drama arts teacher at the Private Elementary School “Bloom” and performs in the plays of Puppetry Studio Sarajevo.

RADIONICA LUTKARSTVA

Na ovogodišnjem Juventafestu pozabavićemo se animacijom tijela, prvenstveno ruku: od ruke do lut-ke. Istraživaćemo mogućnosti šta se sve može napraviti od ruku i našeg tijela uz male dodatke poput tkanine, malih predmeta... Na koji način ruke jednog ili više glumaca postaju jedna cijelina, lutka za sebe i kakve mogućnosti nam daje u animaciji. Planiramo se dobro zabaviti i napraviti nekoliko malih lutkarskih etida.

PUPPETRY WORKSHOP

At this year’s Juventafest, we will deal with body animation, primarily hand: from hand to puppet. We will explore the possibilities of everything that can be done by hands and our body with small acces-sories like fabric, small items... How hands of one or more actors become a whole, a puppet for itself and what kind of possibilities gives us in an animation. We are planning to have great time and make few small puppet etudes.

ALENA DŽEBO, glumica i dramska pedagoginja

Rođena je 1978. g. u Sarajevu. Na Akademiji scenskih umjetnosti u Sarajevu diplomirala je na Odsjeku za Glu-mu 2002. g. Radeći kao freelancer, odigrala je desetine predstava na Otvorenoj sceni Obala, Sarajevo, te u po-zorištima u Sarajevu, Tuzli, Mostaru, Zenici, Londonu, To-rontu, SAD-u. I tokom studija i kao profesionalna glumica, dodatno se edukovala kroz različite radionice i seminare (Commedia dell’ Arte workshop u Italiji, Odin teatret, Sarajevo film festival Talent Campus, MESS Workshops, Meyerholdova Biomehanika, Osnovi psihodrame i teorija uloga - Psihodramski centar TELOS Novi Sad i Međunar-odni plesni seminar u BiH).

Članica je Udruženja dramskih umjetnika Altteatar i Udruženja filmskih radnika BiH. Od 2006. aktivno je ukl-jučena u rad Biblioteke za slijepa i slabovidna lica Bosne i Hercegovine kao čitač. Od 2015. aktivno sarađuje sa Udruženjem Život sa Down sindromom FBiH na projek-tima koji se tiču inkluzije u kulturi.

Za svoj rad i promociju snimanja knjiga za Biblioteku za slijepa i slabovidna lica u BiH, kao i za inkluz-ivan dramski rad sa djecom sa teškoćama u razvoju, 2015. godine UNICEF BiH joj je dodijelio priznanje Šampion inkluzije.

ALENA DŽEBO, actress and drama pedagogue

Born in 1978 in Sarajevo. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo at the Act-ing Department in 2002. Working as freelancer, she performed in about ten plays at the Open Stage Obala in Sarajevo, and in theatres in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Mostar, Zenica, London, Toronto, USA. During her studies and as a professional actress, she gained additional education through various workshops and seminars (Comedy dell ‘Arte workshop in Italy, Odin Teatret, Sarajevo Film Festival Talent Campus, MESS Workshops, Meyerhold’s Biomechanics, The basics of psychodrama and role theory - Center for psychodrama TELOS Novi Sad and International Dance Seminar in Bosnia and Herzegovina).

She is a member of the Association of Dramatic Artists Altteatar and The Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2006, she has been actively involved in the work of the Library for the blind and visually impaired persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a reader. Since 2015, she has been actively cooperating with the Association Living with Down Syndrome of FBiH on projects related to cultural inclusion.

In 2015, UNICEF granted her recognition of Inclusion Champion for her work and the promotion of book publishing for the Library for the blind and visually impaired persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for inclusive dramatic work with children with developing difficulties.

INKLUZIVNA RADIONICA

Teatar bi trebao biti mjesto prihvaćanja, razumjevanja, slavljenja naše posebnosti i individualnosti. Ljudska potreba i želja da se izrazi kroz umjetnost, nikada nije uslovljena određenim “hendikepom”, teškoćom ili invalidnošću. Ali, kroz istoriju, ta potreba i želja jesu spriječavane i ugnjetavane. Takav tretman društva prema osobama s invalidi-tetom ostavio je trag iz kojeg je, uz pomoć borbe za ljudska prava započetim u dvadesetom vijeku, iznikla kultura invaliditeta koja pretpostavlja osjećaj zajedničkog identiteta i ciljeva. Pravo svakog živog čovjeka, a posebno djece i mladih, je pravo na slobodno izražavanje i učestvovanje u kulturnom životu jednog društva. Svjedoci smo, da se to pravo u bh. društvu, uvažava samo deklarativno, bez stvarnih platformi koji će umogućiti djeci i mladima s in-validitetom, ravnopravno učestvovanje u kulturnom žvotu zajednice. A zašto je to tako? „Priznajući da je fenomen invalidnosti koncept koji se razvija, a da sama invalidnost proističe iz interakcije osoba s oštećenjima sa okolinskim barijerama i barijerama koje se odražavaju u stavovima zajednice, a otežavaju puno i efektivno učešće osoba s invaliditetom u društvu na osnovu jednakosti sa ostalim članovima tog društva.“

Iz ovog dijela Konvencije o pravima osoba s invaliditetom, zapravo vidimo je da je invalidnost” razvojni proces koji prije svega proizlazi iz stavova, ali i barijera iz okoline, koji otežavaju sudjelovanje osoba s invaliditetom u društvu. Drugo, invalidnost se ne smatra zdravstvenim stanjem, nego se radije posmatra kao rezultat interakcije između negativnih stavova ili neprikladne okoline u odnosu na stanje pojedinih osoba. Zašto ovo naglašavam? Na umjet-nosti je prvenstveno, da počne uklanjati ove barijere, da senzibilizira društvo, da ne spriječava nečiji kreativni izraz, da počne vjerovati da i osoba s invaliditetom moze biti umjetnik i ima stav koji trebamo čuti. A za takve promjene i procese, teatar je najmagičnije mjesto. Mjesto u kojem možeš biti siguran, svoj, biti poseban i drugačiji. Djeca i mladi Sarajeva zaslužuju takvo mjesto. Juventa festival je idealna prilika da se konačno i mladi sa invaliditetom, srednjoškolci, ona najranjivija grupa, koja je puna sumnji i strahova, oslobode i da im se da prilika da se čuju, vide i prepoznaju. Inkluzivne radionice omogućiće i razmjenu iskustava, promociju mogućnosti mladih sa invaliditetom, te podsticanje aktivizma i uopšte podizanje svijesti o sposobnostima i vještinama koje mladi s invaliditetom imaju.

INCLUSIVE WORKSHOP

Theatre should be a place of acceptance, understanding, celebrating our specialty and individuality. The human need and desire to express itself through art is never conditioned by a certain “handicap”, difficulty or disability. But through history, that need and desire are prevented and oppressed. Such treatment of the society towards persons with disabilities left a trace from which, with the fight of human rights started in the twentieth century, a culture of disability emerged which assumes a sense of common identity and goals. The right of every living man, especially children and young people, is the right to free expression and participation in the cultural life of a society. We are witnessing that this right is respected only declaratively in Bosnia and Herzegovina, without the real platforms that will make it possible for children and young people with disabilities to participate equally in the cultural life of a society. And why is this so? “Recognizing that the phenomenon of disability is a concept that develops and that the disability itself results from the interaction of persons with impairments with environmen-tal barriers and barriers that reflect the attitudes of the community and make it difficult for the full and effective participation of persons with disabilities in society on the basis of equality with other members of that society.”

From this part of the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities, we actually see that disability is a devel-opment process which primarily stems from attitudes but also the environment barriers that make it more difficult for people with disabilities to participate in a society. Secondly, disability is not considered a health condition, but is rather viewed as a result of the interaction between negative attitudes or inappropriate environment in relation to the state of the individual. Why do I emphasize this? Art should primarily remove these barriers, sensitize soci-ety, not prevent one’s creative expression, believe that a person with a disability can also be an artist and has an attitude that we should be able hear. And for such changes and processes, theatre is the most magical place. A place where you can be safe, yourself, special and different. Children and young people of Sarajevo deserve such place. Juventafest is an ideal opportunity to finally liberate young people with disabilities, high school students, the most vulnerable group full of doubts and fears, and to give them an opportunity to be heard, seen and recog-nized. Inclusive workshops will enable the exchange of experience, promotion of opportunities for young people with disabilities, and the promotion of activism and awareness about the abilities and skills that young people with disabilities have.

INES ŠKUFLIĆ - HORVAT, dramska pedagoginja

Diplomirala i magistrirala na Filozofskom fakultetu u Za-grebu. Od 1990. do 2016. zaposlena kao dramska peda-goginja u Učilištu Zagrebačkog kazališta mladih, gdje je režirala niz predstava s kojima je učestvovala na desetak međunarodnih festivala. U Dramskom studiju Tirena vodila je niz projekata, velik broj seminara i radionica za učitelje, djecu i mlade širom Hrvatske i u inostranstvu. Di-rektorica je 11. europskih dječjih dramskih susreta i četr-naest pozorišnih kampova. Dobitnica nagrade Grozdanin kikot i nagrade Hrvatskog centra za dramski odgoj za trajan doprinos razvoju dramskog odgoja. Urednica tri zbirke igrokaza. Od 2016. predaje na Postdiplomskom specijalističkom studiju Dramske pedagogije.

INES ŠKUFLIĆ - HORVAT, drama pedagogue

She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. From 1990 to 2016 she was employed as drama pedagogue at the the Zagreb

Youth Theatre, where she directed a number of plays with which she participated in ten international festivals. In the Tirena Drama Studio, she conducted a series of projects, a large number of seminars and workshops for teachers, children and young people throughout Croatia and abroad. She is the di-rector of eleven European drama meetings for children and fourteen theatre camps and the winner of the Grozdanin Kikot award and Croatian Centre for Drama Education Award for the lasting contribution to the development of drama education. Editor of three collections of plays. Since 2016 she has been teaching at the Postgraduate specialist study of Drama Pedagogy.

MAJA SVIBEN, dramska pedagoginja

Rođena u Zagrebu, Hrvatska 1981. g. gdje završava studij dramaturgije na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti. Kao autorica, dramaturginja, scenaristica i prevoditeljica sarađivala je na dvadesetak predstava u različitim hrvat-skim pozorištima, umjetničkim organizacijama i drugim kulturnim ustanovama te manifestacijama (Hrvatsko nar-odno kazalište, Hrvatska radio-televizija, Teatar &TD, Muz-ički biennale, Atelier Choreographique, Dječje kazalište B. Mihaljevića, GKL Split). Dobitnica treće nagrade Marin Držić za tekst Točka izvorišta 2004. Dobitnica nagrade za najbolju scensku prilagodbu, SLUK 2013. (za predstavu Grga Čvarak Dječjeg kazališta Branka Mihaljevića iz Osije-ka, zajedno s redateljicom T. Kučinović). Od 1999. radi kao dramska pedagoginja za Dramski studio Tirena. Osnivači-ca je i članica uredništva portala Drame.hr. Suosnivačica je umjetničkog kolektiva SKROZ.

MAJA SVIBEN, drama pedagogue

Born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1981 where she graduated in dramaturgy from the Academy of Dramatic Art. As an author, dramatist, screenwriter and translator, she has been working on twenty plays in various Croatian theatres, art organizations and other cultural institutions and events (Croatian National Thea-tre, Croatian Radiotelevision, Theatre& TD, Music Biennale, Atelier Choreographique, Branko Mihaljević Children’s Theatre, Split City Puppet Theatre). Winner of the third prize Marin Držić for the text The Source Point 2004. Award winner for the best stage adaptation, SLUK 2013 (for the play Grga Čvarak of Branko Mihaljević Children’s Theatre from Osijek, together with the director T. Kučinović). Since 1999 she has been working as a drama pedagogue for the Tirena Drama Studio. She is the founder and member of the Web portal drame.hr, and the co-founder of the art group SKROZ.

Radionica za profesore, voditelje dramskih sekcija u srednjim školama

Pozorište je saradnički proces gdje se okupljaju različiti umjetnici kako bi osigurali cjelovitost iskustva, kako za izvođače, tako i za gledatelje. Metoda skupno osmišljenog pozorišta (devising theatre) to još naglašava, stavljajući u fokus proces proizvodnje u kojem su svi pridonose izvedbi u raznolikim uloga-ma, brišući granicu između autora i izvođača.

Radionica je namijenjena polaznicima koji žele istraživati stvaranje i razvoj ideja za izvedbu koja nije zasnovana na dramskom tekstu, već na različitim poticajima poput svakodnevnih problemskih situ-acija, tekstualnim predlošcima različitih žanrova, fotografiji, ritmu, muzici, pokretu. Radionica se sastoji od uobličavanja scena, priča i scenskih slika kroz individualne i grupne zadatke. Jedna od tehnika je i „izvedbeni odgovor“, koja od učesnika traži da na ponuđene ideje, kreacije i pitanja odgovore vlastitim izvođačkim činom, ne nužno verbalnim, što razvija različite oblike komunikacije. Time se proizvodn-ja izvedbe oslobađa tradicionalnih ograničenja procesa eksperimenta, otvarajući prostor za kreativne intervencije.

Workshop for professors, leaders of drama clubs in high schools.

Theatre is a collaborative process where different artists gather to ensure the integrity of the expe-rience both for performers and audience. The method of the devising theatre emphasizes it more, putting the focus on the production process in which all contribute to the performance with different roles, erasing the boundary between authors and performers.

The workshop is intended for students who want to explore the creation and development of ideas for the performance that is not based on dramatic texts, but on various stimuli such as everyday problem situations, textual templates of different genres, photography, rhythm, music, movement. The work-shop consists of arranging scenes, stories and stage images through individual and group tasks. One of the techniques is also a “performance response”, which requires participants to respond to offered ideas, creations and questions by their own performing act, not necessarily verbal, which develops var-ious forms of communication. In that way the production of the performance is freed from traditional boundaries of the experiment process, opening the space for creative interventions.
