Initial Prayer

O Mary, Mother of Jesus our Lord, and also our Mother, we

are happy and greatly honoured by your visit into our

home which you made worthy to be the place of your love

and affection. Please bless us throughout your stay with us.

Bless our premises. Bless the members of our family.

Deliver us from evil. Always abide with us through your

graces and motherly help. From this day on, we consecrate

our minds, our hearts, and all our works to you. Since you

are our Mother, strengthen us with your grace and prayers

that we may comply with the commandments of your Son,

Jesus Christ, and with the commandments of our Mother

Church. We pledge to make your visit to our family an

opportunity for us to deepen our love and commitment to

God and be more devoted to you, our Mother. Loved by

you, and dedicated to your Son, we in turn fulfill our duties

to our neighbours, our society, and ourselves. Amen.

Entreaty

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you have deigned

to appear at Fatima, to reveal to the shepherd

children, the treasure of grace hidden in the most

Holy Rosary. Inspire our hearts, with a sincere love

of this devotion in order that meditating upon the

mysteries of our redemption, which are recalled

by them, we may be enriched by their fruits whilst

obtaining peace for the world and the conversion

of sinners. May we obtain the favours we ask of

you in this Holy Rosary. We ask all these for the

greater glory of God, for your honour, and the

good of our souls. Amen.

The Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of

all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the

Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages, God from

God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made,

consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us

men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy

Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man. For our sake he

was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried,

and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He

ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He

will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his

kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver

of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father

and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the

prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess

one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the

resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven, holy be Your

name; Your kingdom come; Your

will be done on heart as it is in

heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;

Forgive us our sins as we forgive

those who sin against us;

Do not bring us to the test but

deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Page 7: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace; The Lord is with

you; blessed are you among women, and

blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us

sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Page 8: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

The Doxology

Glory be to the Father, and to the

Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it

was in the beginning, is now, and

ever will be, world without end.

Amen.

The Fatima Prayer

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us

from the fires of hell and bring all souls to

heaven, especially those who most need

your divine mercy.

THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES

Page 10: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

The Resurrection of Jesus

With our faith in Jesus'

resurrection, we hope in the face

of grief, receive strength against

despair, and believe in glory

after suffering. Our glory is the

cross of Jesus.

With Jesus let us rise from a life of

negativity, cynicism and

mediocrity. Let us walk out of the

darkness and into the morning of

joy and hope.

Page 11: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

Ascribe Greatness!

Ascribe greatness

To our God, the Rock

His work is perfect

And all his ways are just

[Repeat]

A God of faithfulness

And without injustice

Good and upright is he!

[Repeat]

Page 12: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

The Ascension of Jesus

To join Jesus in his ascension to

heaven is to go all the way with him in

his life and his ministry. We must live

our baptismal commitment and carry

our cross. We must proclaim how

much God loves us and bear witness

to what He does for us. We go in the

name of Jesus to the poor, the lonely,

and the abandoned. We go to those in

need of God's mercy, forgiveness,

presence and love.

My Peace I Give Unto You

My peace I give unto you

It’s a peace that the world cannot give

It’s a peace that the world cannot understand

Peace to know, peace to live

My peace I give unto you

My love I give unto you

It’s a love that the world cannot give

It’s a love that the world cannot understand

Love to know, love to live

My love I give unto you.

Page 14: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit takes the place, and

continues the work, of Jesus when

he returns to the Father. He guides

us on the way of salvation. Through

him we understand the words, the

ways and the will of Jesus. He

accords us courage and strength,

as he did with the Apostles, to bear

witness to the gospel to the point of

death. He revitalizes and renews us

to live the faith.

Come, Holy Spirit! Fill the hearts of

the faithful and enkindle in them

the fire of your love.

Page 15: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

Let There Be Love

Let there be love shared among us

Let there be love in our eyes

May our love now sweep this nation

Cause us O Lord, to arise!

Give us a fresh understanding

Of brotherly love that is real

Let there be love shared among us

Let there be love

The Assumption of Mary

As a mother, Mary is always united with Jesus.

It is love that unites her to him. Because of her

love, she understands Jesus, accepts his ways,

and empathizes with him.

Jesus took Mary, body and soul up to Heaven

where He had a place prepared for her. Mary

had perfected all virtues and her life

resembled the life of Jesus in all things.

My Soul Follows Hard After Thee /

Lord, I’m Gonna Love You

My soul follows hard after Thee

Early in the morning

Will I rise up and seek Thee

And because Thou hast been my help

Under the shadow of Thy wings

I will rejoice—

Lord, I’m gonna love you,

Love you, Lord

Lord, I’m gonna love you

Love you, Lord

Lord, I’m gonna love you

With all that’s in my heart.

Lord, I’m gonna worship

Worship you.

Lord, I’m gonna worship

Worship you.

Lord, I’m gonna worship you

With all that’s in my heart.

Lord, I’m gonna follow,

Follow you

Lord, I’m gonna follow

Follow you

Lord, I’m gonna follow you

With all that’s in my heart.

The Coronation of Mary

Because Mary shared in all Jesus'

sufferings and because her life so

perfectly resembled His, she was

rewarded and crowned Queen of

heaven and earth. She is a good

Queen who wishes to distribute

the many graces Jesus has given

her upon her children.

Page 19: Irisville Community Rosary - Presentation

Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life,

our sweetness, and our hope! To you do we

cry, poor banished children of Eve, to you do

we send up our sighs, mourning and

weeping in this valley, of tears. Turn, then,

most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy

toward us; and after this our exile show unto

us the blessed fruit of your womb Jesus; O

clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.

Leader: Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.

People: That we may be made worthy of the

promises of Christ.

Farewell to Our Lady

O Beloved Mother, the time has come for you to leave

our home. You have abided with us for a day, and we

cannot express the joy and gratefulness overflowing in

our hearts. Inspired by your love, O Mother, you desired

to be with us even for a day. We ask you in all sincerity,

come back again and be with us someday. We will wait

for you with profound love and humble expectation. As

you depart, we offer you our hearts. Never allow us to

forget you nor to stay away from your care. Mary, our

Mother, we beg you; never forget us now in time nor

eternity. We hope and pray that as we willingly opened

the doors of our hearts and our home to welcome you,

may you also open the gates of heaven for us your sons

and daughters, in welcome. Amen.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have

recourse to thee.

Our Queen of Love

O how I long to sing you a song of love

To describe the warmth of your smile

The pureness of your heart.

O Mary, our Queen of love,

Our way to the loving son

Our beautiful way to the loving son

When I’m happy—

you are there to share it with me

When I’m grieving—

I can call and you’d console me

O how I long to sing you a song of love

To express the happiness

that’s deep within my heart

O Mary, our Queen of love

Our way to the loving Son

Our beautiful way to the loving Son.
