1.1 INTERLEMIND KP roof panels introduction.
INTERLEMIND KP roof construction system is based on modular roof panels 1000 mmin width, fixed to the roof structure by corresponding fixing elements.
INTERLEMIND KP provides high quality thermal and sound insulation, due to the hard
core of polyurethane foam, applied and expanded between two roll formed sheets in a
continuous process.
In view of modern buildings construction, implying fast assemblage and the use of ready-made elements, INTERLEMIND Thermo-roof has a very wide application. It is applicable
for building of industrial, trade, sport, business and entertainment facilities.
1.2 INTERLEMIND KP roof panel s shape
For F-1 top side of the panel trapezoidal roll formed sheets TR 40/250 are used, and for F-2
side TR 1.5/66.67 .

INTERLEMIND KP consists of the interior and exterior roll formed sheets, pre-coated by
an organic, mostly polyester paint system by the coil coating technology, and a hard core of
polyurethane foam with 38-42 kg/m3 density. The three elements make a compact panel,
70 to 100 mm in thickness, which provides the necessary supporting capacity and sealing.During the production process the panels are protected by strippable polyethylene film to
enable easy manipulation, transportation and fixing, which is subsequently removed.Standard panel lengths: 2,000 to 12,500 mm
Standard sheet thicknesses: 0.5 to 0.7 mm

-Fire resistance: INTERLEMIND KP belongs to Class B (hardly combustible material) toDIN 4102 Part 1.
Coil coated steel strip type INTERLEMIND is a fireproof material(Class A2) to
DIN 4102 Part1.
Hard polyurethane foam without the metal plates is a normally inflammable material (Class
B2) to DIN 4102 Part 1, while in case of use of PIR-insulation, it is classified as a hardly
combustible material (Class B1). Tightness of joint is very important – geometre, sealant,fixings. Fixing of the panels in the furnace has strong influence.
New fire resistance classes in EU 15/20/30/45/60/90.
-Anti -corrosion protection: INTERLEMIND KP panels are produced from cold rolled steel strip, galvanized on both
sides and pre-coated (EN 10142, EN 10143, and EN 10169-1 and 2).
The anti-corrosion protection of polyester coating system is classified as Category III
according to DIN 55928 Part 8.

-Roof plane inclination:
In normal applications the roof inclination angle is 6o (10.5%). If there are no lengthwise
panel joints between the ridge and the gutter the inclination angle can be 5 o (8.8%), while
with additional sealing of roof panels lengthwise and cross-section joints, the inclination
angle of the roof panels can be reduced to min. 4o (7%).
-Fixing elements:
To assemble INTERLEMIND KP panels only the attested fixing elements can be used.
Self-tapping screws are made of stainless steel with 19 mm dia. washer and EPDM gasket.
For any specific static calculation the fixing method should be set forth.

Depending on the steel sub-structure thickness the screw type and the hole diameter aredetermined in accordance with the recommendations of the producer.
It is also possible to use self tapping screws, whereby it is not necessary to make anyholes, since they cut a screw thread into the surface at the same time, thus accelerating theassembling process.Blind rivets 4.0?10 with a stainless steel shank are used for joining the flashings and trims
(hole diameter 4.10 mm).

The static capacity calculations to determine the span between the rafters mustconsider the following elements: the building height (<8m, <20m, >20m), the buildingshape, whether the building is closed or opened on one side, as well as roof positions(ridge, edge areas, angles) in accordance with DIN 1055, Sheet 4, 1986, regulating thewind load.

The choice of the color shade is also important for the static capacity calculation because thedarker shades (shade group III) have a more significant influence on the thermal dilatation of the sheets than the light shades panels (shade group I).
The color shades are classified into three groups (I, II and III), as follows:
Group I RAL 9001, 9002, 9010, 1013, 1015, 7035Group II RAL 1002, 9006, 1024, 2004, 7001, 7002, 5012, 7037
Group III RAL 6010, 3002, 6003, 3009, 5001, 8014
Snow guard brackets:Depending on the roof plane inclination (?), the roof area and the climate zone the number of snow guard brackets is determined and fixed to the rafters through INTERLEMIND KP .
Lightning rod:Since the whole roof acts as a lightning conductor within the lightning conductor installation,only a good connection with the grounding is necessary.
Packing:
For truck transport the package height should be 1100 to 1500 mm, and 10 to 20 panels arestacked, depending on their thickness. The max. package weight is 3 tons.

1.8. INTERLEMIND KP ROOF PANELS INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY .
FOR HIGH-QUALITY ASSEMBLY OF INTERLEMIND KP ROOF PANELSTHE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE OBSERVED:
First of all, check the condition of the sub-structure to verify its geometry andevenness;In case of defects, carry out all the necessary corrections;Before fixing, in places of lengthwise or cross-section overlapping, joining or flashing, the strippable protective PE foil should be removed;For panel cutting only circular saws or jig-saws should be used. Do not use a grinder because the grinding wheels produce high temperatures and destroy the anticorrosiveorganic coating; After cutting and hole drilling all metal filings should be immediately removed from
the panel surfaces since they represent an extremely strong corrosion source;In panel assembly, special attention must be paid to the lengthwise overlappingwhere total incumbency is required to achieve complete sealing. In some cases,additional sealing is achieved by injecting silicone putty at panel joints on F2 side,immediately before positioning of each panel.Roofs with inclination less than 6o need additional sealing of the panel joint on theexterior side (F1) by permanently elastic sealing strip.In building with special temperature regime, such as refrigerating plants and the like,the lengthwise overlapping on the inside (F2) should also be additionally sealed bypermanently elastic sealing strip to prevent the diffusion of water vapor in someclimate conditions and the condensate formation on the interior joint.
During panels unloading and vertical transportation, only one package should behandled at a time. Fork lifters can be used to transport panel packages up to 6000 mmin length. Wire-cables are not allowed for panel packages transport by crane; instead,conveyor belts of corresponding capacity should be used.

INTERLEMIND ZP FACADE (WALL) PANELS - TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
2.1. INTERLEMIND ZP Facade (Wall) Panels introductionINTERLEMIND ZP vertical facade construction system is based on modular wall panels1000 mm in width, fixed to the sub-construction by corresponding binding elements.INTERLEMIND ZP provides high quality thermal and sound insulation, due to the self-extinguishing and environment friendly hard polyurethane foam core, applied andexpanded between two roll formed sheets in a continuous process.Depending on the lengthwise joint shape, INTERLEMIND ZP is available in two
versions: ZP-1 with concealed joint and ZP-2 with visible joint.

INTERLEMIND ZP consists of the interior and exterior roll formed sheets, pre-coated by
an organic, mostly polyester paint system by the coil coating technology, and a hard coreof polyurethane foam with 38-42 kg/m3 density. The three elements make a compactpanel, 30 to 180 mm in thickness, which provides the necessary supporting capacity andsealing, as well as thermal and sound insulation.During the production process the panels are protected by strippable polyethylene film toenable easy manipulation, transportation and fixing, which is subsequently removed.
Standard panel lengths: 2,000 to 12,500 mmStandard sheet thicknesses: 0.30 to 0.70 mm

Depending on the steel sub-structure thickness the screw type and the hole diameter aredetermined in accordance with the recommendations of the producer.
It is also possible to use self tapping screws, whereby it is not necessary to make anyholes, since they cut a screw thread into the surface at the same time, thus accelerating the
assembling process.Blind rivets 4.0?10 with a stainless steel shank are used for joining the flashings and trims(hole diameter 4.10 mm).

Having in mind the applicable regulations, in order to determine the fixing method of INTERLEMIND ZP panels, it is necessary to have in view the following factors:Wind load capacityHeight of the building above the groundType of the building: closed or open on one sidePosition of the panel in the facade wall (central or edge area)Number of supporting joists where the panels will be fixed (two or more)Thermal load depending on the panel color shade (Group I, II or III)
It is very important to point out that the panels at the corner studs should always be fixed inthe standard way – through the panel, and the visible fixing elements should be masked byflashing elements, which means that the concealed joint used with ZP-2 is not permissible inthis case.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY
FOR HIGH-QUALITY ASSEMBLY OF INTERLEMIND ZP WALL PANELS THEFOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE OBSERVED:
Before all, check the condit ion of the foundation sole and the entire construction to veri fytheir geometry and evenness;
In case of defects, carry out all the necessary corrections;
Take exact measurements of the facade tie beams in order to determine the panelsarrangement and the corner ends, and then fit in the base flashing;
Before fixing remove the strippable protective foil from the inside panel surface (F-2) andfrom the outside surface (F-1) remove only those parts that will be covered by the overlappingparts and from corner ends;
Apply the adhesive sealing strips in positions specified by the installation plan;
If need be, provide the supporting elements during the assembling of the wall panels;
The panels are to be fitted so that the lower end is 8-10 mm away from the base flashing. Tofacilitate the fitting, wooden slats can be inserted, which are later removed.Using a long spirit level, position the wall panels to precise vertical and fix with screws. For
good quality fitting the lower panel edges must form a straight line.When fixing the panels special attention must be paid to avoid the outer sheet deformation (F-1) at the joint due to inadequate torsion force, which would provoke permanent deformations
and poor esthetics. Therefore, screwdrivers with limited torque should be used;
When fitting wall panels of different lengths, the longer panels should be fitted first, and thenthe shorter ones, because that way it would be easier to achieve the required vertical line atpanel joints;
For panel cutti ng only circular saws or jig-saws should be used. Do not use a grinder because
the grinding wheels produce high temperatures and destroy the anticorrosive organic coating;
After cutting and hole dril ling all metal fil ings should be immediately removed fromhorizontal surfaces on the walls (base fl ashings, window fl ashings, etc.) since they representextremely strong corrosion sources;
During panels unloading and vertical transportation, only one package should be handled at atime. Fork lifters can be used to transport panel packages up to 6000 mm in length. Wire-cables are not allowed for panel packages transport by crane; instead, conveyor belts of corresponding capacit y should be used.
