And in the end, they just went out and beat the holy hell out of
the thing. It seemed like a good ideaat the time.
After that, there was no stopping Aelfric and his two buddies
(named Theodric and Offa, which if you ask me is no sort of name to
give a monster hunter). They went up and down the
countrysidekicking the snot out of everything they saw until they'd
cleared the whole countryside of monsters.Then, supposedly, they
hopped in the drink and swam west to fight critters off in the
Isles of theWest. That part, I'm not so sure I believe, but it's
damn sure they never lost a fight after they startedteaming up.
