Bei herkömmlichen schlägern bildet die Besaitung ein Netz aus unterschiedlich großen Rechtecken, somit ist die Richtung des Balles abhängig vom Treffpunkt am schläger. Nicht so bei den neuen Kneissl square Modellen. Die saiten sind so angeordnet, dass die Kreuz-ungspunkte über die gesamte schlagfläche gleich große Quadrate ergeben. Dadurch ist die Richtung des Balles immer gleich der schlag-richtung – unabhängig vom Treffpunkt. schon wenn sie die ersten Bälle spielen spüren sie, dass der Ball genau dort ankommt, wo sie ihn hinplatzieren wollten. Die roten Pfeile visualisie-ren den Kneissl square-effekt.

With conventional rackets, the strings form a net of different sized rectangles; hence, the direction of the ball is dependent on where exactly it hits the racket. Not so with the new Kneissl square models. The strings are arranged in such a way that the intersections form equally sized squares over the entire hitting surface. The direction of the ball is therefore always the same as the swing direction – irrespective of where it hits the racket.
