Date: Act 5, Scene 3.Oh, what an unexpected turn

of events. Friar Lawrence hasconfessed the true recenthappenings. Apparently my deardaughter Juliet was married toRomeo Montague, and heartbrokenfor her fathers impulse to haveher marry Paris, she drank a liquidso that we would think her deadand she could run away to Mantua.Friar John was supposed to informRomeo of the plan, but the servantgot to him first, and Romeo, indistress, bought poison to end hislife. When Romeo arrived at theCapulet gravesite, he encounteredParis, and was prompt to murderhim. Upon seeing Juliet, still inher deep sleep, he drank thepoison which immediately killedhim. Juliet then woke up to seeRomeo dead by her side, which

drove her to take his dagger andtake her own life. Now we can seethe true love that those two hadfor each other. The feud with theMontagues has ended with thistragedy. They are now our family. How awful that it took this longand this much death for us to endthe conflict.

Date: Act 5, Scene 1.I hear a boy has gone toMantua to give news of Julietsdeath to that Romeo. Why onearth a Montague would care, I donot know. Perhaps they will becelebrating and rejoicing that yetanother dear member of our househas fallen.
