    Al-7amahshari says in this re#ard:WRrace denotes e?ery ad?anta#e intended or

    charity, n this account+ Allah the E%alted hascreated the 4hole 4orld as #race, he 4orld is inact either animate or inanimate, he inanimateis #race or the animate+ and the animate is#race or li?eliness is #race or the spirited+

    because 4ithout li?eliness+ the spirited 4ouldlose the ability to beneit by other #races, hus+anythin# that can be beneited is #race,T

    As a commentary on the pre?ious notion+ al-Fahr al-/N$i says:

    Whe #races o Allah the E%alted are countless+because e?erythin# that 9e has #i?en to us+ suchas ad?anta#es+ pleasures+ limbs and or#ans that

    4e use or #ettin# beneits and e?adin# harms+thin#s that 9e has created in this uni?erse toreason out the e%istence o 9im as the one andonly aer+ and thin#s that 9e has brou#htabout so as to restrain rom acts odisobedience all these are #races, Furthermore+e?erythin# that brin#s pleasure is #race+ ande?erythin# that does not brin# pleasure but isused or e?adin# harms is also #race+ ande?erythin# that does not brin# pleasure and isnot used or e?adin# harms is also #race since itcan be used as e?idence on the e%istence o theaer and+ thus+ a means to the reco#nition oand the obedience to 9im, As a result+ all thecreatures are #races,T

    Ku[ayn ibn Sabarah+ uslim ibn 7ayd+ and '4ent to 7ayd ibn Aram, Ater 4e had sat beorehim+ Ku[ayn ased+ W7ayd+ you ha?e reallyattained #reat beneaction because you sa4 theProphet IsJ+ listened to his 4ords+ participated inhis campai#ns+ and ollo4ed him in prayers, (o4+7ayd+ please narrate to us 4hat you ha?e heardrom the essen#er o Allah IsJ,T

    me in the same position on the aHG and GAbd ibn KamHdreported that LhNlid ibn uhallad narrated theollo4in# to them on the authority o ;sNmah ibn7ayd:

    ne ni#ht+ ' ?isited the Prophet IsJ 4ho 4entout embracin# t4o thin#s that ' could not seeunder a cloa, Ater ' had ased him about thematter or 4hich ' ?isited him+ ' ased about thethin#s that he 4as embracin#, 9e IsJ unco?eredthe cloa and they 4ere al-Kasan and al-Kusaynon his hips, 9e then said:

    deli?erin# a speech to us+ al-Kasan and al-Kusayn+ 4ho 4ere dressin# red shirts+ cameto4ards him in stumblin# steps, 'mmediately+ theessen#er o Allah IsJ descended rom theminbar+ carried them both+ and put them beorehim, 9e then commented:

    AbM Bar al-Bayhai ImJ+ the #rand scholar+says:

    WAll these reports appertained to the ?irtues othe Prophet=s household are mentioned in theamous boos o KadHth in authenticated serieso narration, /eer to these boos or the topic

    intended,The Prophet=s household are GAlH+ FNYimah+ al-Kasan+ and al-Kusayn+ and their descendants andosprin# are attached to them,

    'n his al-#islah al-Zaynabiyyah+ alNluddHn al-SuyMYi ha?e recorded precious 4ords concernin#the identiication o the Sharis, 9e says:
