For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… He will reign on David’s throne… with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. - Isaiah 9:6-7

And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; saying unto them, “It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.” - Luke 19:45-46

“Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?” - Matthew 23:16-17

Page 31: LEARN TO READ THE BIBLE EFFECTIVELY

JESUS THE TEACHERALL THINGS BY PARABLES

“This is why I speak to them in parables: Though seeing, they do not see; …and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.” - Matthew 13:13-15

“He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep… This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not... THE LAST SUPPER

…and a New Commandment“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - Jn 13:34-35

A New Covenant…“Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take and eat; this is my body. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” - Matthew 25:31-34

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.- Revelation 19:11-13
