¡ Iterative planning and tracking process 1. Project manager creates project plan using Project
Professional and publishes the plan to Project Server
2. Project Server sends an e-mail to the team members notifying them of their new task assignments in the project. Team members can view this assignment via Project Web Access
3. Team members update their project progress via Project Web Access
4. Project manager receives and reviews updates. After reviewing, task updates are accepted or rejected
5. Project manager publishes the latest schedule changes
6. At any time during the life of the project, executive management can view the status of an individual project or all projects in the organization’s portfolio
