THE LIGHTFORCE STORYThe extraordinary story of Lightforce began over 35 years ago with our founder Dr. Raymond (Ray) Dennis in the country town of Cleve in South Australia

After searching the retail market for a high quality and robust spotlight to use on his property and finding nothing suitable, Ray decided to build one himself… and the rest, as they say is history.

Being a man of vision and foresight, Ray recognised the potential demand for the lightweight, portable and handheld spotlight which lay before him. It was a system powerful enough to use for professional purposes yet priced within the grasp of the enthusiast and sportsman. Enter Lightforce. Ray soon produced his first commercially manufactured lighting system. Based on original designs, his lighting systems found such favour among professionals and sporting enthusiasts alike that production was increased and improvements incorporated. This brought greater diversity to the range, ensuring the growing success and popularity of the brand. Lightforce is now based in Adelaide, South Australia and employs over 65 trained staff. Our fabrication plant has grown into a sophisticated manufacturing facility.

140 LED The NEW Enforcer 140mm LED handheld introduces Fresnel technology to the sporting market.

The specially designed lens produces a superior tight beam for maximum light output and performance. In addition to the standard LED Enforcer, a new Red / White Enforcer is now available, which incorporates red and white diode into single handheld light, allowing for maximum performance from a light.

The internal battery has a runtime of over 4 plus hours and you can even attach the clip on Enforcer battery to produce an extended runtime of up to 18.5 hours. Combined with a light weight ergonomic grip and built-in battery indicator the new LED Enforcer 140mm will provide the ultimate sporting experience.

The Enforcer range combines the latest in technology and design with the tried and tested success of longstanding Lightforce products.

A standout feature of the Enforcer is the simple ability for users to change between power sources, quicker than ever before. Clip a completely cordless direct mount 4.6A/H NiMH 12v battery pack on the halogen models or choose from a coil cord with merit plug or figure 8 flex with alligator clips. Connect up to either a Lightforce SLA battery or new generation LiFePO4 and you’re ready to go. Need to change? It’s as simple as untwisting your cord and changing the power option – you can be completely powered up in less than a minute. All lights within the Enforcer range feature a separately switched low energy LED task light for close range work.

The original Lightforce search light range has endured through the years and is still one of the best options for quality and cost effective portable lighting.

Lightforce delivers a spotlight unequalled in light output, quality, durability, and user comfort. The strong and lightweight SL lights are constructed with hi-tech engineering polymer. These lights are available in two reflector sizes – 170mm and 240mm. For your convenience, the insert in the bottom of the handle can house a spare bulb that can be easily replaced in the field without tools. Select from two power options – either the 4.5 meter figure 8 flex with alligator clips or a 3.6 meter coil cord with 12V utility plug.

Lightforce offers both temporary and permanent solutions for attaching your portable lighting system to your vehicle. This wide range of mounting systems includes remote controls through roof mounting and quick release suction bases.

Bulbs used in Lightforce lights have been carefully selected to ensure maximum performance and durability. This is done by measuring and qualifying the efficiency in converting watts into candlepower. This, combined with the superior Lightforce reflector, is what creates the light output that has made Lightforce famous.

The bulb filament size and shape combined with the reflector design determine the concentration of a focused beam. The shape of the filament will determine the type of beam. A vertical filament (VF) bulb will give a circular spot beam, while the horizontal filament (HF) will give a slightly oval spot.

Lightforce has bulbs available including 12V, 20W, 30W, 50W, 75W, and 100W plus 24V 50W and 24V 100W for specialist applications.

If using the light combined with a portable battery pack unit, a lower wattage bulb will increase the time in the field. If you have any queries, we encourage you to contact your Lightforce dealer for more information.

MODULAR FILTER SYSTEMTailor your beam pattern in seconds with these easy-to-install clip on filters. Made of ultra-strong

polycarbonate they are virtually indestructible! This modular filter system – a unique feature of

the Lightforce brand - means you can easily alter your handheld light to suit the conditions and

your specific needs.

Filters are available in a range of colours and pattern dispersion that will assist in creating a

wider beam which illuminates a broad area.

Colours available:

• Amber – ideal for reducing glare in dust or foggy conditions

• Green – specifically for spotting animals with sensitive eyes. Decreased visible light

signature.

• Red – Most popular night spotting for light shy animals. Decreased visible light signature.

Used with night vision equipment and infrared (IR)-sensitive CCTV cameras or digital

cameras for covert operation. A clip on infrared filter provides semi concealment blackout

conditions yet allows IR to pass producing a powerful, long range night vision beam. The IR

filter works by suppressing 99.96% of visible light yet allows the IR irradiance to pass using

suitable night vision equipment or a camera equipped with an IR CCD receptor, the system

allows covert use of high powered spotlights with a close to undetectable light pattern.

Night vision devices using IR illumination allow people or animals to be observed without

detection.

IR imaging is used extensively for military and civilian purposes. Military applications

include target acquisition, surveillance, night vision, homing and tracking. Lightforce is

proud to supply IR lighting systems to soldiers in conducting convert operations where

stealth and the element of surprise is vital from the Gulf War to Afghanistan.
