Farbe mit System

Das LO Farbkonzept basiert auf dem NCS Farbsystem (Natural Color System), einem schwedischen Norm-System, das auf der Farbempfindung des Menschen beruht und von 6 Grundfarben ausgeht. Die «reinen Farben» Gelb Y, Rot R, Blau B, Grün G sowie Weiss W und Schwarz S bil-den die Grundfarben. Wie die Farben «verwandt» sind, zeigt der NCS Farb körper in Form des Doppelkegels (1). Gemäss ihrem Verwandt-schaftsgrad zu den Grundfar-ben sind alle weiteren Farben im drei dimensionalen Raum organisiert. Der Farbkreis (2) entspricht dem horizontalen Schnitt durch den Doppelke-gel. Die Bunttöne zwischen den 4 Grund farben werden in 10er-Schritten definiert. Beispiel: Y20R = Gelb Y mit 20% Rot R. Das Farb drei- eck (3) stellt einen vertikalen Schnitt durch den Doppel-kegel dar.

Colour by system

The LO colour concept is based on the Natural Color System (NCS), a Swedish standardisation system which builds on the human perception of colour using six elementary colours. These are the “pure” colours – yel-low Y, red R, blue B and green G – plus white W and black S. The NCS double cone (1) colour space shows how the colours are related. All col-ours are arranged in a three-dimensional grid according to how closely related they are to the four elementary colours in the middle and the two achromatic colours at the ends. The colour circle (2) corresponds to a horizontal section through the middle of the double cone, where the four chromatic elementary colours form “compass points”. The gradations of the colours between the four elementary colours are defined in steps of ten. Example: Y20R = yel-low Y with 20% red R. The colour triangle (3) shows a vertical section through the double cone with the achro-matic colours at the ends.

La mise en œuvre rationnelle des couleurs

Le concept couleurs de LO repose sur le système de couleurs NCS (Natural Color System). Il nous vient d’une norme suédoise qui s’appuie sur la sensation des couleurs chez l’homme et qui part des 6 couleurs fondamentales ou «couleurs pures», que sont le jaune Y, le rouge R, le bleu B, le vert G, le blanc W et le noir S. La «parenté» entre les couleurs est mise en évidence par le volume de couleurs NCS qui se présente sous la forme d’un double cône (1). En fonction de leur degré de parenté par rapport aux cou-leurs fondamentales, toutes les autres couleurs se trouvent organisées dans un espace tridimensionnel. Le cercle chromatique (2) correspond à une section horizontale du double cône. Les tons de couleurs entre les 4 couleurs fondamentales sont définis en 10 opérations. Exemple: Y20R = jaune Y avec 20% de rouge R. Le triangle chromatique (3) est une coupe verticale du double cône.

Colore con sistema

Il concetto del colore LO si basa sul sistema cromatico NCS (Natural Color System), un sistema unificato svedese fondato sulla percezione cro-matica dell’uomo e che parte da 6 colori base. I «colori puri» giallo Y, rosso R, blu B, verde G, come pure bianco W e nero S, costituiscono i colori base. Quando i colori sono «imparentati», il NCS mostra il pigmento in forma di dop-pio cono (1). Conformemente al loro grado di parentela con i colori base, tutti gli altri colori sono organizzati nello spazio tridimensionale. Il disco dei colori (2) corrispon-de alla sezione orizzontale attraverso il doppio cono. Le tonalità cromatiche tra i 4 colori base vengono definite in 10 livelli di gradazioni. Esempio: Y20R = giallo Y col 20% di rosso R. Il triangolo dei colori (3) rappresenta una sezione verticale attra-verso il doppio cono.
