    My Ponies andMe

    Crochet these clever ponies to inspire a

    childs imagination. Weve made them in

    fantasy colors of pink and turquoise, but

    the nice thing about crochet is that you canchoose any color of yarn!

    MouthWithA, ch 2.

    Round 1:6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join.

    Rounds 23:Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join.

    Round 4:Ch 1, [sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc]

    around, join.

    Round 5:Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join.

    Round 6:Ch 1, [sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc]

    4 times, sc in last sc, join.

    FINISHINGBody AssemblyReferring to photo for placement, using long

    tails, sew Neck to Body, Mouth to Neck, Ears

    to Head and Legs to Body.

    Neck FringeWith B, cut (34) 6-inch (15 cm) pieces of

    yarn for neck fringe. Attach two rows of single

    layer fringe, placing them side by side starting

    at bottom of back of neck, then attaching

    fringe upwards to ears. Fold strand in half.

    Insert hook through stitch, and draw folded

    end of strands through to form loop. Thread

    ends of strand through loop, and pull ends to

    tighten. Trim fringe lightly, if needed.

    Tail fringe

    With B, cut (12) 11-inch (28 cm) pieces ofyarn for tail fringe. Attach one fringe using all

    12 pieces of yarn. Fold strands in half. Insert

    hook through stitch, and draw folded end of

    strands through to form loop. Thread ends of

    strands through loop, and pull ends to tighten.

    Trim fringe lightly, if needed.

    EyesWith D, embroider eyes, using photo as

    placement.
