NAME OF THE MOSQUE

• The mosque is known as “Pathrail Mosque”.• People used to call this as “Dighir Par

Mosque”

The mosque name by Bangladesh government is, “Majlis Awlia

Mosque”.

HISTORY

This mosque was built during anytime between 1393 AD to 1410 AD.

It was built by the great ruler, Sultan Azam Shah.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE• At the Southern side of the mosque, “Majlis

Awlia Khan”• There is a majar just near the mosque which

was formed using the name of “Mastan Darbesh Nazimuddin Dewan” and “Fakir Salimuddin Dewan”.

• There was a large Dighi(water tank) was created just near the mosque.

• No need any survey method.• Area Excavation

ABOUT MOSQUE• The Mosque is located in the village of Pathrail.• The Historical Mosque is rectangular shape.• The building was in ruins with no roof when its

taken by archeological department.• The wall thickness is 2.05 meter.
