Laureato alla Pontificia Università Gregoriana, ha conseguito la licenza in Antropologia teologica ed è Dottorando in Teologia spirituale presso l’ateneo S. Anselmo a Roma. Si occupa in particolare di accompagnamento spirituale dei morenti ed è docente al Master “Death Studies & the End of Life” dell’Università di Padova. Si dedica inoltre allo studio delle discipline ascetiche nel monachesimo cristiano e ai rapporti tra il corpo e la vita spirituale; si occupa della spiritualità cristiana in relazione all’amore per la creazione, del dialogo interreligioso, della morte e del morire nelle grandi religioni e tradizioni sapienziali.

Former worker in an artisan carpentry and luthier, he is currently a monk and priest in a community for Christian meditation, “The builders in prayer”. He graduated from the Pontifical Gregorian University and obtained his license in Theological Anthropology. He is a PhD student in Spiritual Theology at S. Anselmo University (Rome). In particular, his main activities are spiritual accompanying the dying and teaching at the “Death Studies & the End of Life” Master at University of Padua. He also studies ascetic disciplines in Christian monasticism and the relationship between body and spiritual life, Christian spirituality in relation to the love of creation, interreligious dialogue, death and dying in the great religions and wisdom traditions.

È nato nel 1964 in Amdo (Tibet), nella regione del Golok. Da giovane è stato riconosciuto da S.S. il Dalai Lama come la reincarnazione del VI Sogan Rinpoche e insediato sul trono del monastero di Abo Sera nel Kham orientale, che aveva fondato nella sua prima reincarnazione. Inoltre è a capo del Monastero di Bayan nel Golok. Rinpoche ha studiato con molti importanti maestri delle quattro tradizioni del buddhismo tibetano. Il suo insegnante principale è stato Khenpo Munsel, annoverato come uno dei grandi maestri Dzogchen del XX secolo e principale discepolo di Khenpo Ngag Chung. He was born in 1964 in the Golok region of Amdo, in eastern Tibet. When he was young he was recognized by H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama as the 6th Sogan Rinpoche and as a young man was enthroned at Awo Sera Monastery in East Kham, which he founded during his first incarnation. He is also the head of Bayan Monastery in Golok. Rinpoche has studied with many great masters of all four traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. His main teacher was Khenpo Munsel, a Dzogchen master and teacher in Tibet throughout most of the twentieth century and a chief disciple of Khenpo Ngag Chung. After many years of study, pilgrimage and solitary retreat, Rinpoche left Tibet to move to India, where he was received at the residence of H.H. the Dalai Lama. Since 2008 he has been visiting Italy, where he has been teaching and founded the Tupten Osel Ling center. After living for about ten years in the San Francisco Bay area, where he is the spiritual guide of the Tupten Osel Choling, in 2013 H.H. the Dalai Lama appointed him to join the group of collaborators of The archive of HHDL’s Discourses Thekchen Choeling in Dharamsala, India. He is also a founder and former President of the International Association of Non-Sectarian Tibetan Religious Traditions (www.iantrt.org) of North America. He currently lives in Nevada and regularly teaches at his center in Italy.

Ven. Dephuk Rinpoche

He was born on June 17th, 1991 and has been recognized as the reincarnation of the previous Kyabje Dephuk Rinpoche (1904-1989), the famous Lama of the Nyingma school whose main retreat was the Pangboche Terphuk Chokhor Yangtse, in the Solukhumbhu area of Nepal. Karmapa, and H.E. Dzongsar Khyentse. He now teaches intermediate and advanced level classes on Buddhist philosophy, sutra and highest yoga tantra all over the world. He is also the founder and President of Tibetan Education Foundation, as well as the former President of the International Association of Non-sectarian Tibetan Religious Traditions of North America. Additionally, he is the President of the North America Sakya Monlam World Peace Foundation.

Ven. Khenpo Yeshe Gyaltsen

È nato a Riwoche, nel Tibet orientale, nel 1962. Ha ricevuto l’ordinazione all’età di quattordici anni e ha studiato medicina, grammatica e composizione tibetane nel suo monastero. In quel periodo ha ricevuto anche molti insegnamenti e compiuto brevi ritiri. Terminati gli studi di medicina tibetana, ha lavorato presso la clinica medica locale. Nel 1986 è fuggito a piedi dal Tibet in Nepal per studiare con Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Si è inserito nella classe del primo anno dello Shechen Shedra e ha studiato continuativamente per nove anni, ottenendo il titolo di Lopon. He was born in Riwoche, eastern Tibet, in 1962. He was ordained at the age of fourteen and studied Tibetan medicine, grammar, and composition at his local monastery. During this time he also received many teachings and did short retreats. Once he completed his studies of Tibetan medicine, he worked at the local medical clinic. In 1986 he escaped from Tibet by foot to Nepal in order to study with Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. He joined the first class of the Shechen Shedra and studied there continuously for nine years, and was awarded the title of Lopon. He taught at the College and, in 2000, Rabjam Rinpoche appointed him to the position of principle tutor to Yangsi Rinpoche, the young incarnation of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. In 2003, Trulshik Rinpoche presided over his enthronement as Khenpo, marking the end of his formal studies. He is the principle teacher for Yangsi Rinpoche’s nine-year college studies which are given in Bhutan at a small private Shedra.

Ven. Khenpo Thekchok Gyaltsen

È un detentore della tradizione Jonang del buddismo tibetano. Nato e cresciuto in Golok (Tibet), ha ricevuto l’ordinazione all’età di tredici anni. Ha concluso gli studi e ricevuto il titolo di Abate nel monastero di Tashi Choeling, in Tibet. È andato negli Stati Uniti per la prima volta nel 2005 e ora vive a New York City, dove è insegnante residente al Dorje Ling Buddhist Center. È un insegnante eccezionale e molto umile.

He is a holder of the Jonang tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. He was born and grew up in Golok, Tibet, and was ordained at the age of thirteen. He graduated and was

awarded the title of Abbot at Tashi Choeling Monastery, in Tibet. He first went to USA in 2005 and now he lives in New York City, where he is the resident teacher at Dorje Ling Buddhist Center. He is a great and very humble teacher.

Nato in Tibet, nel 1989 ha cominciato la preparazione per diventare monaco sotto la guida dello zio, Geshe Tsulga. He was born in Tibet and in 1989 he began his preparation to become a monk under the guidance of his uncle, Geshe Tsulga. He was ordained by the late Gyume Khensur Geshe Urgyen Tseten Rinpoche in 1990 and began the program of studies to become a Geshe at Sera Je monastery. During the course of his studies, he has received many teachings from H.H. the Dalai Lama as well as other highly qualified masters. In 1998, he received his full ordination (gelong) vows from H. He began teaching at Kurukulla Center, USA, in 2009. His cheerfulness and humility endear him to everyone he meets.

For five years Khenpo Samdup taught in India, at Kagyu College, founded by H.H. Kyabgön Chetsang. From him he received the vast teachings and transmissions of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage. Khenpo Samdup is the spiritual director at Gar Drolma Buddhist Learning and Meditation Center in Dayton, Ohio and Drikung Dharma Surya Center in Fairfax, Virginia. Furthermore, Khenpo has founded four new Dharma study groups in Michigan, Vancouver, Mexico and Hawaii. In addition, Khenpo travels extensively to support Garchen Rinpoche’s teaching tours and he is a frequent guest.

Donatella Gorasso

Donatella lavora come insegnante nella scuola primaria dal 1996. Ha sempre amato cantare e ha iniziato a farlo, fin da bambina, in un coro parrocchiale. Per diversi anni ha collaborato con varie formazioni locali come solista. Nel 2008 è entrata a far parte del Coro del Friuli Venezia Giulia, che si esibisce in Italia e all’estero. Nel 2012 ha partecipato al Concerto delle Fraternità durante il “Ravenna Festival – Le vie dell’amicizia”. Il concerto si è aperto con il messaggio di Sua Santità il Dalai Lama e si è svolto alla presenza di Jetsun Pema. Sul palco anche la monaca nepalese Ani Choying Drolma e i lama tibetani del monastero di Drepung Loseling.

Donatella has been teaching in Primary School since 1996. Since she was a child, she has always loved singing and she started singing in a church choir. She performed as solo singer in many different local ensembles. In 2008 she began to sing in the F.V.G. choir, performing all over Italy and Europe. In 2012, at “The Roads of Frendship – Ravenna Festival”, after opening with the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai

Lama, the choir performed in the presence of Jetsun Pema, with the participation of a few monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery and the Nepalese nun Ani Choying Drolma.
